Its fun to set here and watch this, nothing better than the virgin tour. Love the car and the build! Keep on keeping on Casey.
Thank you!
Really smart move making that one panel removable for repairs.
I think that will save a ton of time in the future lol
I love this car restore. Reminds me of a 55' my dad had when I was a kid. It's a tank and we aimed it down the road. The car sat high and had plenty of leg room. The noise was part of the charm, it reminded you were moving. The trunk was huge and we could never fill it up on road trips. It looks like they both have hand cranked air but it didn't matter because of the roomy interior. What a gem!
Believe you me, I FEEL YOU on this one!! But I appreciate you doing this. Gives me the feel goods!
Wanted a 54 Chevy since a kid. My grandfather had one. I was born in 1954. So yeah
My favorite year of Chevy!!
Love them chevys just hearing you get all giddy is fantastic
First drives are a lot of fun lol
It's great to see this car coming back
Loved seeing the old '54 the St. Joe streets...
That Tank needs a new Tank. Fun watching your maiden voyage. Rock on Brother!
Casey, if you could only be able to bottle up your enthusiasm and fun that you're having and give it away with every car! That would be awesome! Great show my friend. I'm looking forward for your next one. Have a great night, and all my best to you and your family.
God bless and Peace ✌️ my brotha.
Like the access panel and the patina
Love the old Iron coming back to life! Keep on savin em Casey!
Love that '54. It's only 4 years older than me. :)
Lets hit that 100k ready to win that ride!! Casey is by far one of the best you tubers! Puddin better watch out lol Casey gonna take over!

Agree I share his video's not shire if people are subing or just watching because Casey should have already hit the 100k Mark. HALFASSKUATOM, makeitkustom, outlawgarage, Iron Trap Garage, BadChad and many other's I like how they try and show/teach people tricks and trades share how to do it.
I'm with all kinds of disabilities and they got me in the GARAGE/outside build stuff. Right now building a Go kart frame to put a broken wheelbarrow tub on it so it could be pulled or push for a swap meet/flea market wagon or work horse around the shop.
@@snoopu2601 love hearing that you’re out building 👏👏
My Dad wrecked his 53 Chevy right before I got my license to drive it at 16. Man I wanted that car. Subscribed because maybe I'll finally have that 53. Last of the old style 6 cylinders.
I am so excited for this build!!!
I'm certainly no big Chevy fan BUT I'm loving your 54 a lot. It's perfect
I really love this car. The body swaps are cool too but to find one that runs, what a difference.
Glad to see your back on the 54 Chevy, love the style of it. Can’t wait to see it back on the road. Great video as always.
You might be amazed how good the seats out of a 1992 Cadillac fit in there.
I love that car!!! Keeping fixing on her!! Great Video...thanks you
Absolutely love that old girl!!!
Maybe just needs a little more gas in the tank! Although very convenient for viewing fuel contaminants those filters are not very safe. I've heard of quite a few fires caused by filter leaks. Great content!👍🇨🇦
Man I'd give anything have that car that's badass
Hell yeah 🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘
I would definitely drive that every single day
Quick radiator tip. Places that recore semi radiators will usually recore one of these classics for you. Or champion radiator has or will make one you need.
I love this car. It's such a grand dad grocery getter slash 50s sleeper
Subs half way almost I'm not a Chevy guy but its growing on me this one wants to be on the road so bad after sitting all those yrs shes coming alive keep up the great work
This car brings back a lot of great memories & good to see it being saved from the crusher. Bought a '54 in Pueblo Colorado at a Nash used car lot for $200 in '67. I was stationed at Fort Carson, an Infantry buck sergeant. It was a rust free 210 4-door. Everything worked but it ran a little rough. A mechanic in Colorado Springs refurbish the head for $40 (Back then I couldn't believe how cheap he was & did a super job). I swear you couldn't hear it run unless you opened the hood. I drove it numerous times back home to Detroit. One of the most reliable cars I ever owned, parts were cheap & super easy to work on. The stove bolt sixes weren't as quick as the Ford flatheads (I also owned a '51 Ford & '51 Merc), but the Chevies seemed to run forever.
Loving these more regular uploads! Solid videos, could definitely see this channel going places
Thank you very much!
love the 54, I grew up in the backseat of one.
It’s still amazing it runs as good as it does. I Can’t wait to see it finished. I really enjoyed all your videos and watch weekly. Thank you for all the time and hard work you put into making these videos. You do a great job! And I would love to call her mine. We are moving to Tennessee at the end of the month. And I just had to sell my project truck. It was a 66 Chevy C20.
I absolutely love this car!!
Love to win I was born in 54. Also have a 54 Ford need the Chevy to park next to it ! Love your videos keep it up
Definitely a fuel issue. Plus need to get that column shifter loosened up . And repeat. Thank you for sharing!

Great video and this build is great. Awesome 54 Chevy! It is doing amazing. Once you get the fuel system sorted out, she will be driving really well. Hopefully everyone will be sharing your videos so the channel will continue growing and get to 100K soon. Keep up the great work and sharing the awesome videos. Have a blessed week.
Thank you very much, you too!
Nice ride still got a little bit to do to it,. Cool car though!! I've been fighting cancer for 2 yrs and if I can keep going that car car surly keep going, watching as the car and me keep getting built!! Keep up the good work brother!! Love it

Duuuude youre killing me putting new floors over the old rust! And the pop rivets Xp
Those old tractors will out last any modern new car fer real though 👍🏽💯
And some of those old car's and truck's are going for top💵💰
You are not wrong

I've been wanting one in person since I was a kid
Run Forrest run!🤣🤣
I love that car!
Great looking car my favorite year 👍
Love watching your videos. My first car was a 54 Chevy it was towed home and had to start out just like you. Brings back memories of being 16.
That is awesome
Love that model! I had a 52 model but lost it to rust and a large tree limb lol
Sounds great!
Brilliant car love the patina
Sweet 54 chevy n sweet 1st drive
I'm digging it !
Think about bagging it because when I win it I want it low!😆
We can work something out lol
I want this car sooo fucking bad!! I have wanted a 54 for a while, and also been wanting a straight 6 cyl car for a while!!
Loving the Channel, and how crazy and funny you are. It sets your channel off from everyone else. I really digging this 54 build and the patina it has is awesome.
Thank you very much, i try to make them fun and not just all building
Cant wait to win it!!!!!!
Almost halfway there to 100k , good luck and the car is coming along nicely
Great update .loving the build .bench seats are for lovers .put a cushion in the gap on top of the tunnel job done ✔ 🤣
😂😂😂
Awesome to see another classic hit the road for the first time in yrs keep up the great work 🙂 and keeping them alive
Nice Strut dude.. especially love the hand on the hip LOL
😂😂😂
Great video, glad you got her out on the road. Love thar 54 definitely want to get my name on the list for the giveaway.
Thanks for sharing Casey.
Cheers
Awesome car man. I have a 1952 ford customline 2 door with a 215 inline 6 and it's pretty fun when it does work lol. Anyway nice car this motivated me thank you.
Really like that car
What a sweet ride man
I came close to scoring a 54 fresh out of the barn. The interior was perfect, even the headliner. It 1 spot of rust under the trunk. These cars were tough. I think people just got tired of driving them.
I'm glad to see, you didn't LS or sub disc. Survivers are more unique, everyday.
I can't believe you run gas out of the tank. I'd say that whole system is shot.
Love watching you work on my car. Looking great. Wonder if a plumber friend could use a video scope to check out the inside of the tank for ya.
Haha. Love the slow mo entry....to bad you could of had the 'demo suit" on from your previous episode and thew off the Jacket. That jacket needs some airtime!!
Hell yeah my brother love the 54
I had a car like that when I was 12.. years old a friend down the street gave it to me that's when I started working on cars i got it running and I was so excited then I went to school came home and my mom sold it for beer money and I was so pissed off at her for a long time love to have a nother one again
I hope you find a bench seat for the 54 - It's a better look and better fit.
I agree. I’m not paying 1000 bucks though lol, that’s about all the prices I’ve seen
@@CaseysCustoms - I know all too well. I'm working on a 68 C20 and the seat is too far gone to want to repair. Best of luck on your search!
somewhat new to you channel but i truly love your content and style of builds man keep the videos coming 🤘🤘
my dream car!!!!!!
Good content, as usual. Even the slow-mo jacket toss. I'll give you an 'almost' on that. Just don't quit you day job... yet... Looking forward to more on the '54.
😂😂😂
I think a rear bench seat from a chevy express would work. I installed one in a 52 chevy before. I just cut a bunch of the seat bracket and welded it together and eventually got it bolted in.
Another great video! 👍
Enjoy the channel and just a suggestion, don’t you think that it will be a lot of stress on the radiator hacking the “core support” cross bar out. Guys used to do that on the tri-fives to remove the engine easier, then later down the road sagging Ill fitting fenders and leaking radiator.
Love seeing this 54 up and running, looks damn fun!
Man I love that car 🚗
Great job
Dam i still.love to have it
Glad you put the V8 radiator in it. One less thing for me to do when I win it. I'm thinking a possible LS swap or maybe just a small block.
It runs good for it to set up like it did.
great job!
Goto junkyard and find a standard cab pick up with a bench seat and take it. Seat back should never be higher then the bottom of the windows. Just my opinion. Love the car so far
Gotta paint that valve cover baby blue man.
Maybe make it patina 👌🏻
i cant wait for the giveaway i hope i win that beautiful car
Nice car good job
Great video.
👍 ✌
Smoove
This guy always delivers great content.
You keep watching it and I’ll keep making it!
Put the shifter on the floor if possible
Nice score
Have you thought of possibly adding a floor shifter???
Yep! If my column shift doesn’t break loose and work right I’m gonna run a floor shifter
Such a fun build to watch! Can’t wait for the next video!
