Gib got beat up by Jake Paul, went and trained like his life depended on it. He got himself into the best shape of his life and bullied Taylor Holder. Deji fought well against Jake without training and was his toughest fight by far then took almost 3 years out to do nothing but make excuses and make RUclips videos, took an ‘easy’ fight and still got worked. Living proof hard work beats talent.
I don’t understand how you think deji did well against jake when jake won all the rounds. Just because he made Jakes nose bleed doesn’t mean he was winning or doing good. Jake even got a bloody nose in the gib fight. That was Jakes first fight and with headgear. Jake rocked deji with his first punch he even wobbled away and stepping back but jake back then didn’t finish the job knowing he was hurt. If jake would have fought deji without headgear he’d knock deji out.

I agree, he has a good youtube channel and his fans love his vids, he doesn't need to box and if it's not something he's willing to put his full effort into, then he should just continue doing youtube, no one will be mad at him if he doesn't box, but everyone will be if he keeps promising to comeback stronger and loses with the same excuse everytime.

It's not okay to lose the way Deji did. He came in looking worst than before, and proved he lied about his training by losing on the third round from STAMINA. The rounds were only 2 mins this time, and he literally took a knee without anyone touching him. That's the last thing you want to see when someone is hyping his fans about his redemption and saying how hard he is training.

I think most people forget that Deji has been wanting to get back in the ring for over a year. He has had so much time to train because he knew he was going to fight again. Clearly, he was just all talk...

Yeah, Deji weighed 79 kg (174 lbs) for his first fight's weigh-in, about 10 lbs lighter than for his fight against Vinnie. And it wasn't the good 10 lbs that would actually help with his power. I can't believe he gassed out so quick in a 2-minute round fight.

tbh, deji, has to take a break for atleast a year. and really get his mind about this boxing type career he’s trying to do, he needs to jog and run, he has to build his physic, and cat be andy ruiz or tyson fury, he’s just not them, deji has to put all the work in, deji has all the potential to be an actual pro fighter, everyone said deji can be an amazing fighter.

This stuff always breaks my heart, my brother and I got into combat sports more specifically BJJ. We trained for two separate Naga compitions. He didn't train any harder then he did normally, the compition came up and he ended up in a triangle in the first thirty seconds and gave up and tapped immediately. For me I learned a valuable lesson when that happened. I worked my ass off and I won my compition. But the point remains you don't have to work hard for other people but you at least owe it to yourself to work your ass off. Much love to my brother tho competing doesn't have to your strong suit

I do want to see him box, but only if he actually trains. Like jj said, you either do it properly or not at all. But deji has to want to do it. And if he doesn’t, then I think it’s important, as fans, we don’t force him to. If he wants to commit, everyone is going to be all for his comeback, but if he doesn’t then he entertained us and let’s be done with it. Respect for getting in there and nearly, very nearly beating Jake Paul.
