I mean yes he lost but the way Jake fights is like a pro boxer. And even Hasim jr even said that Jake Paul trains,& fights like a pro boxer. I think Jake Paul has it in the bag and we will see that on April 17th. With Ben askern I just hope we see how Jake Paul really fights or at least last more than 2 round. Cause if we see something amazing from Jake like combos or maybe how hard he hits. Or his head movement or his timing to land shots it’ll be amazing and we can compare that to KSIS and favor who will win against Jake or KSI.

I always said that this fight was Logan's to lose. Both on paper and technically speaking, Logan SHOULD be dropping KSI. But he lacks the killer instinct that his lil brother has, and that ultimately cost him the fight. KSI might not be technically good, but he has incredible heart. Props to both though, professional debut sold out arena is insane lol.
Yep, rewatching this, logn had some. Solid chances to really pick up the pace and possibly end the fight.

Killer instinct don’t matter both knew the risk any boxer goes in when they know their opponents hurt the only thing that keeps them from that is risk. Like it or not neither of these look like pro boxers but Ksi must’ve been packing power if he didn’t go for him in the 4th.

It isn’t just ‘not getting hit’ to win rounds, they also look at who’s the aggressor, who’s moving in and not just sitting back.

@@robbiem2010 the thing is tho(btw I think ksi won mainly becuz of how the knockdown in 3rd should’ve been a knockdown) the analytics show that in the 1st and 2nd round Logan landed more punches so even tho ksi was wild and was the aggressor Logan did land more punches in those rounds meaning he won that so to me he should’ve won the fight. On the other hand, if the ksi knockdown wasn’t ruled a slip, ksi wins
The hardest thing in boxing is to not get hit and that’s what Logan accomplished in the deciding rounds of that fight. Anyone can throw a punch and miss. Real skill comes from slick movements and weaving out of the way.
Great analysis of the fight. So much more neutral than a lot of others and makes it fair for both sides. Finally someone who covers all the points in the most neutral way possible!

@@kheuch19 He didn’t want Logan to win necessarily, but the way I see it he’s moreso saying that Logan was the favourite to win so why didn’t he play up to his strengths. He had everything in his favour going for him here, he had more power, speed, athleticism, etc etc but chose to not really use any of it.

@@TheWADEConcept Yes sir! But in my opinion KSI won the second round. And i could even argue he edged the first. I scored it 57-55 KSI winning 1,2,3 with the 10-8 and then 6. I even gave logan the 10-8 in the 4th. So i do believe Jj won this fight on aggression and ring generaliship.

@@TheWADEConcept Frfr but that style of fighting with jake can and WILL get him knocked out in the first round. KSI says the end of this year he'll fight jake but if that was the case he'd already have to be in camp NOW to have tune up fights or just simulation fights. He can't act like he did with logan and hop in 4-5 months before the date when the contracts signed and push himself to the limit. jake will probably have 4-5 PROFESSIONAL fight camps before them. I dont think ksi even wants to box fr. hes the youtube champion but hes said jakes his last fight. what does this mean for the youtube champion lineage? maybe im thinking too far, but i have a feeling ksi is going to get beat by jake for underestimating him and not putting in realistically enough work thinking his dog-ness and workrate will fuck him up. unless he pulls a MADNESS and becomes viddal-level. which i think, is impossible. ksi has virtually no form under the lights, but all game.

After the fight Jake said that if he was there in the ring with KSI instead of Logan then he would have won and now that I think about it that’s probably right cause what Logan lacked here was the killer instinct . He didn’t do anything after the 4th round knockdown . I think KSI edged this one but he needs to be much better than this against Jake if he wants to win .

I think the reason for the 2 point deduction is because usually hitting someone whilst they’re down is an instant disqualification. Cause it was his debut fight and Ksi was okay to carry on he wasn’t disqualified but he needed to be penalised

I feel like you cut out all of ksi best moments in the 1st and 2nd round like jj had logan hurt at one point in the 2nd coming off a right hook. Just because logan outstruck him doesnt mean he won the round its about damage caused also especially since judges wont see the stats till after the fight.

they landed almost the same amount of punches in the first, ksi won the 1st and 2nd (especially the 1st) based on activity and power punches thrown. logan looked alot more cautious and allowed KSI to constantly back him up, making him the aggressor which played into KSI winning the rounds (because logan wasnt countering KSI for being so sloppy). had logan threw a couple right hands instead of jabs, he would have won those rounds.

I know that jabs can score you points but it’s absurd that people think someone can win the fight when that’s all you do. If you aren’t the aggressor and just throw jabs for 6 round you should not win. The judges got this right and the lowest I could see would be 56-55 KSI.
Not mad at it 💪🏻 I agree jabs don’t win fights most of the time, I chalked up the first 2 or 1 of the first 2 to Logan based on the lack of shots landed by either guy. In that scenario, jabs win rounds
But you should win for missing big shots 😂 if your missing shots and still landing the jab I think you deserve that round 😂
its absurd if u think people can win by just missing shots. ksi was the main aggresor but its not like he had logan on the backfoot the whole time. and when he would swing at logan it would result in logan dodging or ksi getting hit.
If Ksi fights anywhere near that level against Jake, not only is he getting slept, but it will be embarrassing. Hope he improves because looking back, this is not good enough
I believe that Ksi will try to fix his technique a little bit in the Jake fight, the reason he was throwing huge looping shots against Logan is, because Logan was so much bigger than him, and that's the only way he was going to land anything
@@jcgamer5997 no there was plenty of other ways. Ksi's has no excuse to throw like that. To fight fighter bigger than you, you get into the pocket and throw hooks to the body and then mix it up with hooks to the head. Basically, throw more body shots and integrate head movement for example mike Tyson.

As you can see he progressed in later rounds with both fights , if Joe Weller stayed in that fight he would've been knocked out and if there was 7 rounds to that first fight with L P than he would've been knocked out

When Logan’s appeal came back, this was confirmed and explained. Jack Reese confirmed this. The whole grabbing the head thing, we’ve seen multiple times in boxing by some of the biggest boxers. It’s not illegal, hints why they don’t ever get points deducted for it. And let’s not act like jj is the most saint fighter in the ring, cmon now. We both know he isn’t. Great vid. I agree with you for the most part but even though in round 2, logan landed more jabs, jj landed 9 power punches while logan landed 3, and that together with him pushing the pace of the entire fight, that round included, I think he edges the second round. That would give jj rounds 2,3 and 6, and with the 8-8 round in round 4, I would give jj the win 56-55 or even 57-54 because I thought the first round was pretty close. Logan just didn’t do enough to win, he didn’t deserve it as he was too conserved and threw 2 or 3 right hands the entire fight, and the one time he caught ksi with a beautiful upper cut, instead of hitting a rocked ksi with other shots, he held his head and hit him when he was down.
it's easier to review a fight after its over, people forget the judges are ringside and have to judge from what they see, no tv's no replays, compubox etc.

Logan Paul fans just add back the 2 points and see that Logan would have won. This is completely delusional as those points were lost due to illegal punches and adding back the points means Logan wouldn’t have done those illegal punches meaning KSI wouldn’t have gotten as hurt and therefore perform better in round 5 and 6

What the hell dude? This fight was way better than I thought. They had at least some fundamentals down for boxing and some nice combos too. Especially Logan's jab and ksi's ability to turtle up after throwing haymakers.

Ring control and pressure count a lot, just like power punches are way more significant vs jabs. KSI never dropped from the clean upper cut but after the dirty one. Judges will give close rounds if they think the knockdown was legit, or take a round away if a fighter was dirty. Both had no experience, and the fighter that wanted it more, took more risk and went after it, ended up winning.
I don't understand how literally nobody properly analyses the 2-point deduction. He scored an illegal knockdown, gifting Logan 1 point, and taking 2 points away makes it a net punishment of only 1 point, which is totally fair for hitting someone while they are down.

Even though KSI won it was a really close matchup and we should definitely give props to both fighters
this is what ive been saying since the fight happened. Logan could have won this fight if he was just more hungry and aggressive. To think even then he had to be taken off points in order for ksi to win. no points deducted logan would win split decision, had he only had one point taken away it would have been another draw. Thats why these ksi fanboys are so hilarious and delusional that they think ksi can beat jake. Jake has a fighters mentality and wants to hurt people. he already hates ksi so this will just add more fuel. he's already better than logan skill wise and he's aggressive. having heart and aggression will only take you so far verses having that and actual boxing skills.

You always forget about ksi stolen knockdown. Including that, ksi would have still won. Logan just isn’t a fighter and ksi is, that’s why he lost. Ksi vs jake is an interesting fight. Both have a fighters mentality and want to hurt each other. Despite ksi’s technical ability in this fight, him and his team knows that he can’t box like that against jake. Viddal said it himself. This won’t be a one sided fight no matter what side your on. Jj will be jakes first real challenge so if he wins then fair play but I think this is gonna be another Logan situation with no knockouts and no definitive winner
I root for KSI but my only complaint is that his sparring technique in training camp looks better than his own stage technique.

The scoring isn’t just about who gets tapped more there’s loads of factors such as ring generalship aggression defence and also the judges don’t have replay to study the whole round so that’s why it’s always gone be iffy
Agreed, but the sport first and foremost I’d about touching your opponent and not getting touched. It’s the sweet science, and in those rounds where not much happened, you have to award the few shots that do land

False, when Logan tried engaging with Ksi Ksi countered with a right so Logan from that point on stuck to his jab and got comfortable throwing with his left because he wasn’t in a place of comfort engaging with Ksi with the 10oz gloves because JJ had knockout power so Logan’s aim became a game of survival rather than doing a job over JJ

Imo ksi won the first 3 rounds simply coz he carried the pace of the fight and logan wasnt engaging enough so that's why the judges scored those rounds in favour of ksi

The point deduction convo is so stupid. Like he could have been DQ'd. Roy Jones literally got DQ'd for hitting a fighter on the down and took a loss on his record. 2 point deduction was pretty fair given they counted the KD. It was a warning from a seasoned judge to two guys who barely know what they are doing that not fighting fair will/can cost you the fight. Like he held KSi's head/neck, to land the second uppercut(illegal), then hit him after his gloves hit the ground(illegal). Like the first one is incredible dangerous This was a surprisingly close fight for two guys with such different athleticism and size

I think Jake is way better than Logan, he actually follows up, uses the right hand and drops people. Even if all of his opponents are smaller than him, KSI was smaller than Logan, and Logan never followed up. Jake did against Gib and Nate. It's so obvious if you just watch Jake and Logan's fights.

Ksi knockdown should have counted, Logan should've just got a warning Ksi getting 2 minutes to recovery was already penalty enough against Logan without those 2 mins Ksi gets knocked out . Revisiting this. As a KSI fan, if Logan legitimately just let his right hand go, it probably would’ve been a really tough night for JJ. Everytime he let that right hand go it was landing flush.

The thing i don’t like about analysing fighters mental state that it’s all done after the fact, had Logan won. The narrative would be:
- KSI was over compensating
- Logan was calm and collected

Someone else said this in the comments but unlike KSI we've seen Jake fight coming forward against Deji and fighting going backwards against Gib and Nate. Seeing this fight with Logan and KSI again I'm not sure if KSI can fight going backwards. Just wanted to put this thought out there, but what's your opinion.

The kd shouldn't have counted, but for some reason he decided to deal with it slightly differently. So he counted the kd, and by the letter of the law a 2 point deduction is allowed which he then uses to even things back up because of the level of gain Logan got from multiple illegal actions in quick succession.
I know you mention no warning, but if you do 3 things in a row that if you did individually would have got a warning then deduction should you really get away with that?
I think the final decision amounts to the same thing both ways - count the kd and take the 2 points the ref is allowed to do, or don't and take one point instead for the two follow ups.
The thing is whenever Logan actually took initiative to go on the offensive and not just counter it was clear that if he wasn't afraid of burning out like his last fight the match would've been completely different. Logan obviously had energy and effort to spare, and it was ksi who put it all on the line at 100%
Yeah I feel like Logan is the brother who is better technically, but Jake isn’t afraid to pull the trigger and that’s the difference.
