End the series. Yes, it is one of the oldest, longest-running series in not just college football but all of sports. But I can't remember the last time it was a border war. Probably the last time the game was last on Kentucky's schedule is the last time it was a border war (before the Louisville game took that spot). If it's going to be a 9-game conference schedule with 3 permanent opponents I would like to see something like Kentucky playing LSU, S. Carolina, and either Missouri, Oklahoma or Texas every year. It can be a rotation of Vanderbilt one year and Tennessee the next. Kentucky, S. Carolina and Missouri don't have rivals in the SEC. The Egg Bowl. The Iron Bowl. The Cocktail Party. Nothing comparable for UK, MIZZOU and SC. So they can be wildcards to balance things out, and maybe along the way form some new rivalries. Kentucky vs. Missouri has been more of a border war than UK/UT. If we are going to bring back the Beer Barrel it can have a permanent home with its last victor, Tennessee. Time to move on in this new era of college football. As a lifelong Kentucky fan I miss the days when UK/UT football mattered. But this is 2024 and we are not going back to 1984. If we must bring back the Beer Barrel, please, SEC, immediately retire it with the scheduling.
I expect Kentucky to play very hard in this game and keep it close for a while. Our offense is just not very good right now. Certainly hope we do put it together and can serenade Nick with many verses of Rocky Top. 🍊
Vols are Kentuckys daddy and everyone knows it. They havent won in a full neyland stadium since 1984 lol. They got the win covid year but roush should stay in Lexington this weekend
Zero Casinos in GBurg let alone Tennessee. Kentucky keeps in close for a short period meaning close to kick off and then their daddy bust their ass and sends them back to Lexington
Kentucky almost beat Georgia and they took down Ole Miss so while they are struggling, they are by no means a bad team. I don't think Tennessee will over look that fact, but I think it will be closer GBO
Shrug. Tennessee is not elite. A Kentucky win won't mean much other than a better shot at bowl eligibility and an end to Tennessee's playoff hopes. I don't think that there is a great team in college football this year, to be honest. The one team that has consistently played good football, Indiana, doesn't seem to be on many radars in this oversized media landscape. Okay, so Tennessee has a good defense. Kentucky's success has come from winning the time-of-possession battle. I have no idea what it will look like against the Vols. But this UT offense doesn't scare me. UT 27 UK 9
We better be prepared and ready. Kentucky is sneaky good. We (vols) are alot like Ole Miss and kentucky beat them. Our offense sucks and can't score in the furst half or consistent. So, don't be fooled by all these vol channels. How many games do you have to watch to realize this???
😂😂 no they aren't... they are the worst team beside ms st. Stop looking at the 13-12 game with georgia as "proof". This team is broken. This team is awful. Kentucky needs tennessee to miss their throws and fumble or sack fumble to "keep it close". Just stop.
The town is probably Cherokee, NC? About 2 hrs from Knoxville. Go VOLS
That was my guess.
@@lansemclain6175 i can second? third? that.
Yo Nick Roush we STILL ya daddy over here in Knoxville so WOOOOO YOU
Bring back the Beer Barrel
it is time for it to return!!
It won't ever come back from its history and why they took it away.
End the series.

Cherokee, NC is where that casino is located.
I was bout to say casinos aren’t even legal in Tennessee lol
@@dcooper91gI’ve been to it pretty close to the state line and it a gorgeous little spot. Besides the ugly cosino
Wasnt this the spread going into Arkansas?
Either Cherokee or the new one Murphy. Most likely Cherokee.
Tennessee will cover this game, easily! Vols win big!
Cherokee, N.C. opposite Gatlinburg and Pigeon forge..gateway to the Smokies.
That's where Harrah's Cherokee is at.

God that Covid year was brutal…oh boy how times have changed
GBO!
Cherokee NC
Either Cherokee NC or Murphy NC
There’s also casinos in Gatlinburg and one comin to Bristol
The one in Bristol been open
Didn't think they could have casinos in Tennessee yet. Just the state lottery.
Bristol was voted on by the city and county vote @@Ryan-mx2kr

Well according to some guys that work for e s p n tennessee's not even a top 15 team
tennessee 54 kentucky 20

I see 10 point spread for tennessee. Win by 10 and probably 24-14 or something. Just my guess. Mostly on the grown😊
I'd agree if it was in Lexington. Neyland at night will eat UK alive.
