Indiana's best win (so far) Nebraska. Texas best win (so far) Vandy. Penn St best win (so far) Illinois. All of them are pathetic schedule wise this year. If Indiana beats OSU and wins B1G Championship and TX beats TA&M and then wins the SEC Championship fine they'll both deserve to be in the playoff, if either lose a game they should be out. Penn St I feel is screwed, they lost to the only ranked team on their schedule. Conferences with 16 or more teams to have equal sized regions. 10 regular season games (6 conference, 4 non-conference. Cannot schedule FCS opponents or teams outside of the 8 CFP conferences listed below). Conference championships become a 2 round playoff and constitute the first 2 rounds of the CFP. 8 leagues invited: SEC, ACC, B1G, Big 12, PAC-12, Mountain West, Sunbelt, MAC, Independents. This ensures no real contender is left out, and it ensures no fluff in the final 8. SEC Example: CFP Round 1/SEC Championship Playoff would be a 4 team playoff between the regional winners. The SEC Champion then advances to the national stage and represents the conference. Copy/paste for the other conferences. This also ensures quality play throughout the season and keeps the max games a team can play at 15. Notice the in/out conference ratio. This is to provide some balance across scheduling and create some fun matchups during the regular season. As teams advance into their conference playoff the number of conference games will go to 7, then 8 if they make the final game. Under the current model we have an elaborate SEC/B1G playoff branded as a college football playoff. It’s not. A true system would simply be champion vs champion. You’re getting a spanking on Nov. 30.
These guys really did great today.. great show guys.. you showed absolutely no bias and told the truth about every team... I'm sorry. SEC should get 5 in, sorry if it hurts the rest of college footballs feelings.... ND,1-ACC,1-BIG12, BOISE, Oregon, Penn St.,OSU, Bama, Tenn,Ole Miss, Georgia, Texas... that should be the narrative all the media in the south should be pushing... Indiana is out with a loss to OSU bottom line....
How do you put Texas in and keep Indiana out? Is it dependent on Texas beating A&M? Imo UT vs A&M has to be an elimination game now cuz with Mizzou and LSU losing, A&M should have 0 ranked wins now. Without a ranked win how do you put either over Indiana or Penn State?
Sounds good to me. I like that.
@MattBuild4 i believe texas wins... but if they loose, A&M is in, because A&M would have made it to Atlanta, and texas would be out, because they haven't beaten ANYBODY..Indiana hasn't beaten anyone... they have zero wins over ranked teams, you CANNOT let a team with ZERO TOP 10 or 25 wins in the playoffs...
The last time Indianna was ranked 5 and 5 ole miss dismantled them
What about the SEC championship, let's start there?
I feel like it has to be ole miss and whoever wins the Texas and Texas a&m game
@@ezrawellborn5526really? Ole miss could definitely lose to Florida with lagway back. How are we making assumptions for the conference championship when the regular season still has games to be played lol
Ole miss will lose to Florida next week. This should make it easier
Not a chance
@@ssssammyg5910ole miss lost to LSU, Florida just whooped LSU’s ass. There is definitely a chance lol
@@HustlerT101 nope and you’ll see what I mean on Saturday
GA 2 big wins against #1 Texas on the road and #7 Tenn at home.
The only problem is they were at home and heavy favorites against Tennessee..Texas was the first time they were underdogs in years though. It's a mess.
Using what the team was ranked at the time is ridiculous. Beating LSU when they were rated higher before their 3 game losing streak doesn't mean you beat a top 10 team now it's looking like my even a top 25 team.
You leave out those 2 loss teams, no matter what conference they are in.
That’s stupid
Ole Miss is a good choice to be left out. They lost at home to Kentucky.
Kick out Notre Dame. Force them to join a conference. They always get over ranked.
Texas
UGA
Bama
Ole Miss
There you go
There literally is not a best team in the 6 top teams in the chart. They are all about equally good. As much as I hate to say it as a Bama fan, the Vandy loss coupled with the LSU win, which turns out to be less special every week, kind of leaves them out at the moment. That said, it is possible GA Tech could beat Geogia, Florida could be Ole Miss, and Vandy could be Tennessee. If Texas also wins out that puts Bama and Texas in the SECCG but that is a long shot to say the least.
Actaully if Alabama wins out and Texas beats a and m it will be bama Texas because Tennessee lost to georgia
Hang in there Andy Ole Miss is coming on!! Is the Hogs a pseudo-quasi quality win for da Horns?
Tennessee's chance I think is if Florida beats Ole miss and Tenn beats Vandy...
The graphic with "Tenessee" spelled wrong has me dying... Nobody respects them 😂
If Texas AM wins it should knock out Texas since Texas would have the weakest two loss schedule in the SEC
You can’t judge a team so let on its record. A team’s schedule was not chosen by them. I feel it should be weighted by the AP ranking wins vs teams whose record is a result of playing unranked teams. When the SEC is made up of teams beating each other up would expect at least 1 loss.
Anyway, I tried to make my point, but I fell you’all know where I’m heading with this.
If Ohio st loses to Indiana who have they beat. Committee didn't count strength of schedule last week
Ohio State beat #4 PSU.
There’s no way but even if that happens its still America’s best roster with a bunch of blowouts
@@thomasrobertson9473 Penn State . . . an overrated Penn State.
@@zplapplapoh shove off with the overrated shit. At least they never lose to bum ass teams like Kentucky and vandy. sec fans are fucking absurd. Your conf has 5 good teams. It has no great teams. This is what happens. And no, vandy isn't actually good it just exposed not great teams. Kentucky sucks. Florida sucks. LSU is not good at all this year but those are the teams holding the SEC "power" teams back.
Vandy plays good at home. They can beat TN
as a texas fan we have to beat kentucky and our little sister to get into the playoffs. i think if we get to the sec title game and lose we would still get in at 11-2
Leave all the teams like they were and try to work it all out another way
I truly don't understand how teams can beg to be in with multiple losses. Whether or not you get in, you could have done so much more to help your case. Where's the accountability? Instead of blaming easy schedules for other teams, just win your games! You are gonna have to do it in the playoff anyways. For christ sake, Ole Miss lost to TWO UNRANKED TEAMS!!!
And there's d2 schools with tougher schedules than some teams in playoff picture
@@Price-lq8oc like who?
@stretch141000 might have exaggerated a little. If your biggest accomplishments are beating a 5-5 michigan and losing a close game to ohio state, you should be out
@@Price-lq8oc If you are referring to Indiana, I agree they shouldn't be in if they lose to Ohio State. If you are referring to Penn State, they have the 35th best SOS and will have a ranked win when Illinois cracks the top 25 this week.
That's because you don't have a team that plays a competitive schedule. Line up any team in the country against any of these 2 loss SEC teams. Ohio State and Oregon are the only two non-SEC teams that are able to compete. Period.
Don’t worry Big Ten fans, the Big Ten will never defend Penn State! They’ll leave us in the lobby just like 2015!! 😂 yeah, we need the SEC to sort itself the hell out!!
It's a DIFUCK-ULTY!! Texas can't look beyond Kentucky either, before they head to Kyle Field and that mess- the SEC puts all their chips into Foot-ball, that may be the obstacle for more parity.
You leave out Oregon until they play a real team
lol they’re still undefeated even though they almost lost to Wisconsin, they’re still gonna have to play Ohio State
You guys are fretting if Texas A&M wins out, to include the SEC Championship game, they'll be knocking out two of the 2 loss SEC teams. The CFP won't like the Aggies in there because ESPN wants the best matchup.
This.
I’m surprised he didn’t give bama and ole miss the sc wins especially ole miss
Ole Miss crushed Gamecocks too. Don’t forget
I FOR ONE DONT LIKE ALL THIS SHIT THE WAY THIS LEAGUE IS SET UP NOT AT ALL
Excuse me but if A&M beats Texas….
But Ole Miss loosing to Kentucky is probably going to punch there ticket to the playoffs.
If A&M beats UT, UT gets left out... if UT wins, A&M is out.
That leaves five 2 loss teams, in which case i see 5 SEC, 4 B1G, 1 ACC, 1 B12 and a G5 champ.
Seems pretty cut and dry to me.
Army beats ND what happens?
If they go by strength of schedule, which they will end up doing, UGA has to at the top or near the top. That one anomaly loss to ole miss shouldn’t just trump them into being such a tough choice to be picked. Now that people see that ole miss was an anomaly game, hopefully they they do the right thing this year. Crazy to watch people make assumptions when the regular reason still has 2 games left lol as if ole miss can’t lose to Florida, Tennessee and Vandy, Bama to auburn etc. Gonna be an interesting finish
Georgia is in for sure, as long as they don't lose again (including in the SEC championship should it shake out that way).
SEC HOME GAMES are enormous factors in success. Unless you’re Texas this season 😂
Texas just has the current record in cfb in “unbeaten on the road”. A 9 win streak right now.
@ and Texas had Georgia at home and got their butts handed to them.
No longer following playoff picture. Vols are out unless there are some major upsets and it’s their own fault for not playing well against some crappy teams and losing to Arkansas. No one to blame but themselves. Hopefully they can sack up and beat Vandy.
If Texas loses to A&M they’re out imo! They don’t have any ranked wins so getting beat by the only good teams on your schedule isn’t gonna get you in the playoff! I hope they win tho and Bama continues to win so we meet in the SECCG! We owe them payback from last year!
After LSU and Mo lost last night, it means Aggies have zero ranked teams on their entire schedule. Zero ranked wins. Look it up
Tennessee is definitely going to be the team left out... Not a great resume and losing late always a bad thing. Just watching the alabama-tennessee game look like Alabama screwed around instead of beating them pretty handily
Andy look fried!! You gettin' enuf Slumber-time? You eyes are all glassy looking.
Tennessee another day wins that game…. So it’ll be interesting seeing how this is ranked because you can’t take tennesssee out
Andy, so disingenuous.
He said FATALLY FLAWED. He never said anyone team was FLAWLESS.
You’re just pretending that you answered his point that YOU THINK EVERY TEAM IS FATALLY FLAWED. And, well, that IS his contention.
What. A. Mess.
One five two team had the toughest away schedule. UGA only lost away. Texas lost at home. Ole Miss lost at home.
Texas isn’t a 5-2 team. They’ve only lost a single game all year.
Indiana's schedule is a joke at sos 100. The ten teams above and below them are group of five teams, they are essentially playing a group of five equivalent schedule. If Indiana loses to Ohio State the one quality opponent in their schedule they deserve to be removed from playoff consideration. All these SEC teams that could end up at 10-2 have sos in the top fifteen. They definitely deserve a spot over an Indiana that is 11-1 and lost to Ohio State.
Andy ain't thar too 'N'' in Tenessee? Ur mi eye's de-see-ving me?!1
You misspelled Tennessee guys… not a good sign for Vols
Texas may lose against Kentucky!
And am that would be funny
If texas played in the big tweleve, with the same record and same schedule youd say theyre 7-10 at best. But they got that SEC logo on em so we look past everyuelse. The SEC is down this year because it doesnt have a truly elite team to point to. Its absurd how these teams get the bennefit of the doubt pre season, then they lose to each other and iits welllll, they did lose to an sec team so its okay.. Dont lose to unranked Arkansas. Vandy, kentucky and so on. The SEC should get 3 or 4 teams but its not the juggernaut conf people seem to want it to be.
Uga 7seed now Vols 10 seed
Indiana, Penn State, Texas would wipe the floor with Tennessee and ole miss
Lol, Indiana and Penn State. Just lol. Garbage trash teams. Zero respect. And my team DOMINATED Texas at Austin, so cry me a river.
If a 2 loss team losses the sec championship game, they are out of the playoffs.
@@thecolligedropout2593 no they aren’t. They won’t punish a team for making it to the conference title game when it’s an SEC or a Big10 conference championship at least. Yes, the Big12 and the ACC losers will miss out, as they should.

Missing some Vowels?
😅😮😂
YEAH but a&M played notre dame which is a top 5ish team. A&M had murderers row last season so they were due for a year without ole miss and Alabama. But they have Texas now. I don’t see how A&M’s schedule was all that easy. Night game @ South Carolina where they had a lead after being down 14 early and played bad. The Arkansas game early neutral site is a rivalry and never easy when Arkansas still had hope. LSU was a night game. Missouri was #7 when they beat them and so was LsU. Aggies getting crapped on the most by the rankings. Blasphemy putting SMU, Indiana, BYU up above them and a Colorado team hanging around that was destroyed by Nebraska College football will never work if you have one conference way better than all the others..wait until OU rebounds and see how screwy it gets
ND lost to N Illinois and is not a top 5 team. Try again.
Indiana will get beat by a halfway decent Ohio State team and should be out because of their cupcake schedule.
2 n's in Tennessee
You didn't seriously think Tennessee was going to Georgia, did you? It'll work itself out. Still 3 weeks to play.
Spurs Up
You leave out Indiana, it's clear
If Indiana finishes at championship week 11-1 what’s the difference between them and Texas?
Texas has played nobody and looked like shit against Arkansas one ranked team they got handled….there best win is against unranked Vandy
Just know. Alabama is the luckiest team in history and they will find a way to slip in because of that brand name.
Add that 1 more confernce game. SEC won't look so good. Mercer? UTEP? Give me a break.
Lol there is no school in the country outside the SEC that has played a more difficult schedule than any of those SEC teams. Quit your crying gamma boy, your team is not good enough and is going to get spanked by any one of these SEC teams.
