- The families of the Nottingham attack victims have told Good Morning Britain they feel they've received no justice after the Court of Appeals decided not to change the sentence for killer Valdo Calocane. Emma Webber, James Coats and Doctor Sanjoy Kumar revealed this morning that a public inquiry is the only way to get to the bottom of the multiple failings that led to the deaths of their loved ones.
Ed Balls asks Policing Minister Chris Philp if he will speak to Nottinghamshire police as the Nottingham attack victims' families call for a public inquiry into the case.

This country has really fallen to have such low quality ministers holding public office.
The fact the judge said "he wouldn't have committed the murders if he wasn't having a psychotic episode" is insane. That can't be proven either way. She has betrayed the English people and should be disbarred.
What's the point, we already know what the problem is 👩🏿🦲
Is that really your conclusion to this tragedy?
@@blueflame316 Unless you want to live in a police state then in free society these things are going to happen more frequently as the demographics in Britain become increasingly African & muslim. You've got your head in the sand if you think otherwise
Absolutely devastating 💔
Two tier justice
We all know what the problem is.
He took a knife out with him not a spoon

Life for a life. To those who died. May your memories forever be blessed. ❤from Scotland.
Unbelievable.
Really? Then you're clearly not paying attention
@@DavidPienaar I pay attention, and, thanks for your comment.
BOTH ("unbelievable") of my comments are sarcastic.
@@julierogers1155 Doubtful, but I'll give you the benefit of the doubt.

As someone that could have travelled to Nottingham that day at that exact time those attacks happened - I want to see this public inquiry made, because everybody including the communities of Nottingham, but more importantly the friends and families of those victims who died - want to know why this killer was allowed to roam our streets considering the history he has had with the police etc.
Because the Tories didn’t leave the ECHR.
@@TG-ts3xn😂 mf thinks Tory and labour are different! 🤦🏻♂️🤡
Diversity is the problem.

Absolutely 👍
No justice what so ever.
Life in a secured hospital is no picnic.
looks like he may be one of the ones out early too given Rishi wants everyone out of prison early.
Prisons overcrowded?, depot
Fancy a couple of judges agreeing with one of they're own Cronnies well well shock
The moment they got up on that stage preaching don't look back in anger because RICU told them to, is the moment they signed off any right to justice for their murdered loved ones.
I suffer from schizophrenia and just moved areas, and let me tell you now how easy it was to fall through the net for continued treatment. The transfer of care wasn't done in time, and I had no follow up on my depot medication. It was solely up to me to make sure I got medicated. Half of the public inquiry, if there is one hopefully, will be about greater transparency in policing measures, and that better communication channels need to be established between Trusts. I was just lucky that I was well enough to follow up on my care. I send all my love to the families who must be going through so much pain at this time
It's feels like MP doesn't cares about this families what they going through
This the guy the media said "...he was suffering from mental issues."🤦🤦🤦
Female judge.
It's not anti-female sentiment, I'm just acknowledging there is a time and a place for being soft and emotional, and handing down sentences for killers or even running the country is no place for either.
Yes, they have my vote👍
No more public enquiries, they’re too long and costly, and why is it needed here? We know what happened. The public purse is not a bottomless.
It's a abuse of the system ....
Disversity is Devision...
Homogeny is Strength.
Where is the judiciary from all this
This long ramble of nothing could boil down to "no". Disgusting
It was a bleeding heart female judge, who doesn't judge using logic, she judges using "emotion" which will never benefit society.
Countries can not be run successfully using emotions, they need logic, otherwise we'll see more of this BS more often.
Can hardly speak can he?
Not surprised by this terrible country, the family don’t ask for much do they? What a joke they should be ashamed
You can not have a public inquiry for everything
These families deserve a public inquiry it's there right when the legal justice system has let them down badly & that's what's happened here disgusting it is...
You would say that wouldn’t you your not in their shoes .
