I’m a DUI Enforcement Officer, and can’t tell you how many times, they get caught on the little things. (Headlight out, tag light out, speeding etc). Great stop. Most professional and courteous police officers I've ever seen. I work for the County Sheriff's Department, outside of Detroit, MI. I think I have seen and heard enough horror stories of traffic stops from surrounding city Police Departments.🙄

The vehicle is stopped for no insurance, driver is fined after the ticket is issued the owner is allowed to drive the vehicle away. Why? Vehicle is still uninsured.
It’s up to the discretion of the officer 🤷🏾♂️ they still have to go to court and either show proof they got insurance and pay a fine or get their license suspended

InAustralia when we register our vehicles we are compelled to have Third Party insurance. I think that is what the Sargent was referring to.
