callums had a crazy trip. first he ran away with his brother and some moon girl who showed up to kill his stepdad to return the egg of the dragon who killed his mom, fought his former crush for a while, learned airbending (and firebending with lightning, i guess), watched his brother leave to be king, traipsed through Xadia, kissed the moon girl, fought a big battle where he got some new feathers, went through some portal between life and death, and then his moon girlfriend runs off without him on his 15th birthday. id be furious lol.
I really don’t want Callum going after Rayla at the start of season 4. At least not personally. I know he’ll be worried, but I want to see him helping Ezran with the kingdom. Maybe they can send Corvus after Rayla. Or have Ezran’s dragon friends be keeping an eye out for her.
I do think that it'll be interesting to see them apart, see how they handle it, and see how they rely on each other based on how they struggle when they're apart. I think it's a mistake from the characters' perspective, it's a mistake for Rayla to leave Callum, and him not catching up to her because he can fly will require some kind of mistake on his part (see my long comment for how I think he can try to prevent Rayla fighting Viren and Claudia alone, and I think her trying to take them on alone is an absolute mistake judging by how she fared against just Viren), but it'll be interesting to watch.
It probably won’t be, Aaron Ehaz said that there was quite a large time gap between seasons 3 and 4 but wouldn’t say how long. During this time, Callum would have already tried to go after rayla but couldn’t end up finding her and gave up.
I'd absolutely love to see a "Rayla Alone" style episode in season 4. Would be interesting to see the show focus on just one character for once, going back and forth with flashbacks, which as of now we haven't seen from Ralya. Also, I didn't even consider a Callum/Soren dynamic, that could be really fun and interesting.

I can picture Soren trying to convince Callum to not follow Rayla, and to stick with his brother instead, and perhaps leave the work to an expert tracker like Corvus... I want to see the implications and effects on Claudia and Soren being on opposite sides, on both of them actually, and I'm pretty sure neither of them is happy with the situation. Idk if Soren would be able to convince Callum, obviously, but who knows, maybe they can have a little therapeutic chat about their issues? (Yes, I do want to see more interaction between Soren and Callum)
I do too. Since Callum doesn't really have anyone else to rely on right now, they'll probably be talking quite a bit. (They need to fix the absolute mess that is their friendship)
@@haveagoodmourning you know, I don't is that big of a mess actually 🤔🤔, aside from the all "bullying thing" that Soren apologized for and I'm pretty sure he will work on. Actually, in the spellbook, in the page that describes Soren, Callum states that even though Soren bullied him sometimes he was also unexpectedly nice at times and always made him laugh. I'm also pretty sure that Callum may have looked up to Soren growing up: on Soren skills, Callum says (and I quote) "everything I was supposed to be good at as a prince"...and, even more wholesome, while describing Kasef Callum says that, when they met (they were both a whole lot younger) Kasef reminded him of Soren, "tall and strong and good at everything" 🥺🥺🥺
@@a_confused_spoon Yeah that was adorable 🥺 I honestly really love the good parts of their dynamic. I'm still holding a slight grudge over the bullying thing, though, because it affected Callum pretty hard. There's a scene in s1 where Callum, not even thinking about it, calls Harrow his father, and Soren just responds with a cold "Well, technically he is your STEPdad". Callum just looks so hurt and then he refuses to call Harrow his dad for the next 2 episodes. It just really hurts my soul that Soren targets his deepest insecurities. But I have high hopes for the future and REALLY want them to interact more, and this time it'll be so much friendlier and it'll be so cute to see.
I liked the lore/worldbuilding of Phoe Phoe's rebirth, I like that Alan gets to be an actual character I love the part where Lujanne has to swallow her pride and gifts callum moon opals so he can learn the moon arcanum but most of all I was here for Soren and Rayla's jock bromance They can be sword bros Claudia has been replaced, Rayla is Soren's new sister now and I loved hearing from him about how he felt on the final battle I'm rayllum trash but I look forward to seeing the two of them separately since they've both grown and need to demonstrate that apart from each other And rip Ethari for not being brought up in regards to Rayla still having people who care about her (I mean this guy lost his best friends, his husband and can't see his kinda niece anymore)
well I didn't thought this through too much, but I think that the raylla travel will be very interesting, and I think that this decision is so in character to raylla, she always felt uncomprehended therefore she always took decisions and did things by herself, rather then put the ones she care about in danger even if what has to be done is necessary i really hope we can work this through in the next season and I'm so here for callum learning some magic, exploring xadia and see ezran as king (expecting some wisdom from queen anya, maybe a little crush for a future relationship with them older? just unite the kingdoms, they're both so powerful) and geez how i would love see some amaya and soren dynamic (i forgot the name of the sunfire elve but some dynamic with her would be great too), I'm STILL waiting for some raylla and amaya relationship (IMAGINE AMAYA TRAINING RAYLLA LITERALLY THE MOST POWERFUL WARRIORS EVER) and of course, aaravos and claudia, I'm expecting more interactions (claudia ultimate villain maybe?) AND I'M WAITING FOR BIRD SHAPE KING HARROW OF COURSE, WHERE HAVE OUR BOY BEEN?
I’m so glad you mentioned Claudia and the possibility of her as a main villain. She gives me Morgana Pendragon vibes (if you’ve ever watched Merlin). Starts of good and goes down a path of villainy. And I say this as someone who likes Claudia: I’m totally ok with it. Actually I’m hoping for it.
So, I have thoughts... my number one thought is what should happen next. When Callum wakes up and discovers that Rayla's left, he should go talk to Soren and Ezran. Callum is choosing to trust Rayla's gut that says that Viren is alive, Ezran will do the same, and we already saw earlier in the graphic novel that Soren believes that Viren could have survived, he doesn't put anything like that past Viren. So they should all conclude that Rayla's right that Viren's out there and someone should try to take care of Viren. Together, they should also come to the conclusion that Rayla shouldn't be going after Viren alone, given that she couldn't really take out Viren the first time on her own, and they should guess that Claudia is with Viren. In fact, it shouldn't just be Callum and Rayla after Viren... they make a good team together, but at the very least they need Corvus to try to find Viren. They should really try to set up a meeting with Amaya, Corvus, Ezran, Callum, Rayla, Soren, and Jenai to try to come up with a plan and figure out who is going to go after Viren, or who is going to spearhead the effort, and there's a balance that they need to strike between having the right people (and enough people) to take on Viren and Claudia, and having too many people so Viren and Claudia know they're coming. Of course, all of this is contingent on finding Rayla. You really don't want Rayla going after Viren, another group going after Viren, and they get in each others' way or make it harder to keep what's going on quiet because they're not coordinating. So Soren, Ezran, and Callum should talk, decide that they need to get more people together to come up with a plan, and then go after Rayla. Rayla's good at stealth, but they do have one advantage: They know where she's going. She has to go back to Xadia, because that's where she's going to have to start looking for Viren, and there are two places where people can cross between the human realm and Xadia: The Moonstone Path and the breach that Viren made when he went evil Moses on it (I'm assuming that breach is still there because armies crossed through it, so it's not like it only lasted a few minutes, and they seem to have crossed back through there). So what they should do is Callum flies to the Moonstone Path, waits for Rayla there, sleeps during the day and waits there at night (since you can only cross that way at night), and he intercepts Rayla there. I'm thinking that most likely she's planning on going that way. Also Callum should think hard about what he says to her when he sees her because she's definitely going to be upset seeing him there, but better that than that she tries to take on Viren and Claudia alone, gets herself killed or coined, and fails to make sure that Viren can't hurt anyone. Meanwhile, Soren and Ezran should head toward the breach as fast as they can, probably taking horses or banthers, and send a message ahead of them warning Amaya that they're coming and that she should be on the lookout for Rayla. That's just in case Rayla does decide to go that way. So that's what I think the characters should do. Because Rayla shouldn't be doing this alone. I'm guessing that season 4 will be messier than that. I'm predicting that Callum won't just accept whatever Rayla left in the note saying that she's going alone, that's just not who Callum is. While Callum, Ezran, and Soren probably won't pull off quite the plan I'm talking about, they'll look for her, and catch up to her eventually, but it'll take some time, at least halfway through season 4, possibly as late as season 5. I'm guessing that the writers will use this as an opportunity to show how much the different characters need and rely on each other, that things won't go great for Rayla or Callum when they're apart, and I'm definitely hoping the writers won't overplay the drama when they're finally reunited, though I think it would be unrealistic for there to be literally zero friction.
In the picture of Rayla looking at Runaan you can see one more moonshadow elf behind him and there is a picture of Runaan in the coin with three more coins so if Runaan is in one and Rayla parents are in two of the others then who the heck is the other person
What ever you do, DO NOT LET GO OF IT! Callum: Drops the feather* Me: are you fucking kidding me! Also once I read the last page I ran around my house screaming!!! I was so mad and sad!! Shit I still am!
Tbf on raylas decision tho. This is only a short time after she 1)finds out shes been banished from her home 2) finds out virens the one who did her parents in(even if its in the coins) 3) suddenly has someone precious she cant live without. I can understand her wanting to leave when shes essentially going on a suicide mission alone but as you said, callum deserves to choose HOWEVER i think this is the perfect opportunity for him to develop his skills before the next big confrontation. Imagine if him and soren do end up travelling together after rayla. Soren could try properly teaching him how to fight this time with real life battle experience so that when him and rayla do meet up, callum can support her on the frontlines instead of being at the back just casting spells or at least protect himself. Maybe even learning some sun fire elven magic or even meet up with another elven race to learn more. Also this gives time to flesh out how soren develops as a character since he also needed time to come to terms with thinking he actually killed his dad Regarding the comic tho, my interpretation of why viren was there was because he actually died after the fall. Perhaps his soul got absorbed into the worm thing hence why he doesnt have that eye gunk anymore. In the dead realm, that was his dark magic visage so mayhaps viren cant use anymore magic period.
So about the coin Theory, I believe that it is true so we all know for a fact that runnan is a coin so what I did seeing as the book is cannon I looked back and at the beginning of the book we see runnan meaning that is where he is kept whilst in the coin and then we see Raylas parents and there prison is the same as runnans and since we know for a fact that runnan is in a coin, then seeing raylas parents in the same prison then the theory of her parents in coins is true, so because of that information that the book gave us I believe that raylas parents are not died and are 100% in the coins, idk just something I picked up that might be important
If Elves and Humans can have children we could have three possibilities: 1: Children can be entirely Elf or Entirely Human. (Some kids being human and others being Elf) 2. All children come out as Hybrids with human and elf traits in some degree. 3. All children come out as a "perfect" combinaton or midle point between Human and Elf.(Would require a new name for the species) There could also exist the sad possibility that as different species, Human and Elves couldn't have children (or at least their children couldn't reproduce like the Mule case)
One prediction I got from the comic is Opeli might be an antagonist again. Her one scene looks funny but it also shows that she got some control away from Ezran. With Rayla alone, I would like to run into more racist elves and for Callum, I would like him to go through Viren's old quarters. He might find something that will make him curious.
I didn't even know there was a comic until now🤯 What I don't really understand is why Rayla thinks her parents are died/missing. When Viren attacked her in the finale, he took out a bag of coins saying she would be added to the collection. Wouldn't her first assumption be that Viren trapped them in coins? 🤔
Hey! Didn’t get the chance to put a question in the Q and A, so here’s one I wanted to ask: if you didn’t know about ATLA or LOK, would you think differently about dragon prince?
That's a great question. ATLA and Korra changed my life and the way I think about a lot of things. So in that sense, yeah it would be different. But otherwise I don't think it had that much of an impact. I honestly didn't think about ATLA that much while watching Dragon Prince. I even forgot for the most part that it's Sokka's voice actor, except for certain moments like the boomerang sequence :)
I already have seen some parts of s4, and believe me when I say this, but, it gets a lot . . . sadder? I'm not sure if that really is the word for s4 tbh. So this graphic novel is just the beginning of sadness.
There is almost no chance you've seen s4 when nobody so much as knows a release date. Unless you directly work at Wonderstorm, get your head out your butt and stop lying to us, because it's not cool.
River flame said before that her family? Or someone she knows works for the dragon prince crew so she does know a bit about season 4 but can’t spoil anything.
I have this theory that the show peeps are gonna make callum go after rayla only to find that she has been turned into a coin and then that will lead him into a quest to try and figure out how to get her and her parents+runaan freed. This not only will give callum a chance for more character development but also a perfect opportunity for him to explore magic and get stronger on his path to becoming an arch mage. Then, idk which season, but they are probably going to end a season as soon as the elves are released so that we are left at a cliffhanger waiting for the reunion. I also hope that, although this would be really sad, Claudia goes dark. I mean she did just kill a person to bring her father back. But I kind of want her to not have a redemption arch. I feel like her being on the dark magic side would raise the stakes for the show and for the characters. Especially Soren who is still holding on to Claudia. Losing her completely would be like losing hope for him. She is kinda all he has left. She would also be an epic and powerful villain. Anyways that’s just my theory and I’m probably all wrong. I really love your reactions. You are really good at breaking scenes down and I love hearing your insight. It makes me think about the things in the world and how humans act and how your insights apply to my own life. It’s super interesting.
the advice that was thrown around the comic from Lujanne, Callum, and Rayla is sort of... true in a way...? it would matter in perspective i believe. sometimes you would need to lie first so you won’t intentionally hurt someone.
Callum: My moon-powered girlfriend left me!

Regarding the comic tho, my interpretation of why viren was there was because he actually died after the fall. Perhaps his soul got absorbed into the worm thing hence why he doesnt have that eye gunk anymore.
In the dead realm, that was his dark magic visage so mayhaps viren cant use anymore magic period.
Book 4. Chapter 1: "Rayla Alone"
RLY this would be amazing
Yes, and that's TDP. Everything comes back to full circle where everyone lies and makes bad decision. Again.
Why do they keep going to Lujanne for relationship advice?
Toad256 asking the hard hitting questions
So about the coin Theory, I believe that it is true so we all know for a fact that runnan is a coin so what I did seeing as the book is cannon I looked back and at the beginning of the book we see runnan meaning that is where he is kept whilst in the coin and then we see Raylas parents and there prison is the same as runnans and since we know for a fact that runnan is in a coin, then seeing raylas parents in the same prison then the theory of her parents in coins is true, so because of that information that the book gave us I believe that raylas parents are not died and are 100% in the coins, idk just something I picked up that might be important
If Elves and Humans can have children we could have three possibilities:
1: Children can be entirely Elf or Entirely Human. (Some kids being human and others being Elf)
2. All children come out as Hybrids with human and elf traits in some degree.
3. All children come out as a "perfect" combinaton or midle point between Human and Elf.(Would require a new name for the species)
There could also exist the sad possibility that as different species, Human and Elves couldn't have children (or at least their children couldn't reproduce like the Mule case)
Hm, I wonder what Rayla’s parents would think of Callum.
...
Lets ask them: 🎤💰
im cackling
One prediction I got from the comic is Opeli might be an antagonist again. Her one scene looks funny but it also shows that she got some control away from Ezran.
With Rayla alone, I would like to run into more racist elves and for Callum, I would like him to go through Viren's old quarters. He might find something that will make him curious.
Opeli as a villain is interesting. I suspected that at one point but nothing came of it
Yes I’m early and also
RAYLA WTF ARE YOU THINKING
AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
I promise you. S4 is a lot sadder. Just saying.
@@Ramona_River how do you know?
Yeah how DO you know?
But wait don’t spoil
Ian 92 maybe just a guess because of the ending.
I didn't even know there was a comic until now🤯
What I don't really understand is why Rayla thinks her parents are died/missing. When Viren attacked her in the finale, he took out a bag of coins saying she would be added to the collection. Wouldn't her first assumption be that Viren trapped them in coins? 🤔
About time. Trust me dude your in for a treat
Will you look at Callum’s Spellbook?
Yeah I'd like to see it at some point but I don't think I will do a video on it
Oh wow I wasn't expecting this! I haven't read this yet so brb
Yeah this book it amazing
Will you react to the rest of the seasons please??💖
I just wanna see ETHARI REUNITE WITH HIS HUSBAND AND HIS FRIENDS
AraBOSS 🙇
Prove you watching this months after the last season came out
I think THINK that Amaya and the Sun Flame elf warrior are a thing too? I'm not sure (If they aren't YET then I'm shipping)
I think that happened in the final episode of season 3.
It's a widely appreciated opinion people have on Amaya and Janai.

I also had no idea there was a DP comic before you made that community post a few days ago saying that you were going to read it.
I wouldn't have known either, but I got comments about it :)
Gay ninja didnt know about something related to the dragon prince😮😮😮
ngl, I didn't know either
Wait a community post on his youtube? For some reason i never get a notification when he post on his community tab
@@daco4625 RUclips notifications suck regarding community posts
@@timothymignault1058 Oh, so there's nothing you can do about it right?
@@AGoodwinTV That’s interesting to hear. I think the similarities are almost undeniable, but I get where you’re coming from.
Is this a new house or just a new room?
It's the same room in the same house, just a different position haha
@@AGoodwinTV Oh ok, lol
I guess this story would be more interesting if the last scene was cut from last episode.
Noice..l but you skipped the Rayllum parts…. :(
i really loved rayllum before I watched your reactions, but now I kinda agree with you? but still kinda like rayllum too?
I already have seen some parts of s4, and believe me when I say this, but, it gets a lot . . . sadder? I'm not sure if that really is the word for s4 tbh. So this graphic novel is just the beginning of sadness.
season 4 isn't out yet...?
How did you see some parts of s4 if it isn't even out yet?
River • Flame this graphic novel was taken place after season 3 ended so it’s not season 4 yet tho
There is almost no chance you've seen s4 when nobody so much as knows a release date. Unless you directly work at Wonderstorm, get your head out your butt and stop lying to us, because it's not cool.
River flame said before that her family? Or someone she knows works for the dragon prince crew so she does know a bit about season 4 but can’t spoil anything.
camera seems higher quality, did u get a new one?
Same cam just a slightly different setup
Will you be uploading the Q&A tommorw like you said at the end of the video or will you be uploading FMAB?
Lol you're right I kind of screwed up the schedule. Tomorrow will be FMAB though, since it's been a while.
Q&A the day after
I have this theory that the show peeps are gonna make callum go after rayla only to find that she has been turned into a coin and then that will lead him into a quest to try and figure out how to get her and her parents+runaan freed.
More like *through the moods!*

It does!

Hi, love you too
@@AGoodwinTV Ah oh my gosh ❤️
the advice that was thrown around the comic from Lujanne, Callum, and Rayla is sort of... true in a way...? it would matter in perspective i believe. sometimes you would need to lie first so you won’t intentionally hurt someone.
Now watch the owl house or she-ra or Naruto
Can you please react to she ra?
first
I didn’t even read this, just watching ur reaction, and my jaw still dropped at the ending twist😳

I literally don’t remember the real name of that city just noodlooglia or whatever
I think it was Noodleopolis.
Neoloopadoo
No, you all wrong, its Neopolinoodlia
All I remember is their capital begins with an E so I'm calling it Egypt.
Prince Kasef: It’s NEOLANDIA
Soren: I just said that NOODLELOODLIA
Ok but what if Soren joins Rayla on her journey and then my Sorla dreams could come true
You know I thought that might be where it was going when they had that sit down talk this comic :)
You never know...
Hmm, that would be an interesting duo to see interact!
