Thanks for watching our channel, we are the husband/wife team of Rick and Libby Libbey, (Libby squared), New Hampshire wildlife photographers (and part time Alaska.) It is our passion to document wildlife of any kind, but moose are definitely at the top. In New Hampshire we spend a lot of our spring/summer hours in kayaks photographing loons and moose in the waters of New Hampshire. And hike many miles in Alaska seeking all manner of wildlife in the fall.

@@MooseManNaturePhotos I want to purchase (if it exists) an electronic photo album. It can be mounted on a wall and it provides a slide show of photographs. I'll look for one that allows uploads of videos as well. That way I can upload your videos and have them playing all day! You don't know how much I love your work so I'm telling you now. I love Moose so so much. I think they're gracious. They live so deep in the wilderness that I am a slave to my curiosity. Your work is admired by me and I'd love to do what you're doing! Ae MP you're welcome!! From our ❤❤s. So here's how that video of Mismatch coming in like John Wayne came to be. We were on two medium/large bulls (Jake and a friend) who were both bedded, chewing their cuds. Moosin, ya know.🙂I heard a twig 🌿 💥 snap and figured the cow that was sorta kinda behind us (we were in some alders) then I heard it closer and figured I'd see wazzap, know? It was Mismatch RIGHT THERE coming in full wag on those bulls. We both filmed it and I had to kind of scramble in the alders to find my way out and around to film him meeting up with Jake and friend. Man, that was a blast! A friend of ours was way high up on the opposite mountainside filming some Dahl sheep and watched the whole thing from up there. Pretty cool stuff out there in the wilds! Thanks so much as ALWAYS, MP!!! Much💞 from Team MooseMan in NH!!!

Ohhhhhhhhhh Wow!!...I can imagine the adrenaline!!!..😂...u just never know what will run out in front of Yas...or behind Yas...or above yas...or what ever direction they come in 😂🤣...& that "snap".. I've heard that many times out in the wild...it's either squirrel 🐿️'s ...or something much larger..😲...either way, that snap has my full attention 🤫😂

Are Moose really that dangerous if you were to run into one out in the wild? They are very illusive aren't they?
Generally they are rather solitary and docile. I live to run into one in the wild myself, but we are always careful around cows with calves. Basically, respecting their space is all they want. They can be dangerous, but they don't just blindly charge. Not their style. It's a good question, thanks for asking!
@@MooseManNaturePhotos I have heard that Moose are very territorial and that they get irritated and nervous if you come close to them. Is this true?
@@Rottimail Not necessarily. The bulls tend to have wandering territories, the cows do get agitated when bothered, especially if they have a calf by their side. But usually no, they just run off. There are exceptions and I'm sure you've seen videos of attacks but usually it's when someone is on "their" trail and they want right of way. One must always yield to a moose else risk possible confrontation. Great question!
