***** can you please help on how to land kickflips perfectily because I tend to usually land with both feet on the tail. Also how long should it take you to master kickflips
I always come back to this video. It's such a heartwarming moment seeing the stoke on Lance's face when he lands his first kickflip. And Aaron's reaction too. It's priceless.
I have so much fun watching Lance learn new tricks, I actually cheered for him when I saw him land the kf. It brought me back to landing my first one. good memories
I just wanna say that these videos made me buy a board again after like, 11 years off skating. So thank you #skategod and Aaron, y'all are fucking awesome.
Thanks Braille Skateboarding for the Skatesupports :) Iam from Austria and i cant speak english so good But thanks for the live skatesupports i learned the kick and heelflips in one month i skate for about 6 month and i can all the basics pretty good!! Thanks Braille Skateboarding Team for all this good Support :
Asha Gillette don't worry about that, kickflip looks easy when you see it but it's really hard. Now I'm trying to land it in a spot that has three stairs and I can't do it, but the key is keep trying.
Ioritz Bilbao Urruticoechea For landing over a 3-stair, I'd say increase speed or pop higher. Only pop higher if you're going at a comfortable speed, that way your tail won't hit the last step. Once you get it you'll be able to pop it really high going at a pretty good speed and you'll start stomping them! Nothing feels better than stomping a kickflip over any stair set.
NAPINATOR honestly I don't like kickflips, I know that is weird but I preffer hellflips, but thanks for your advises, I'll follow that steps the next time. Thanks dude! ;)
Kickflips took me almost 8 months to learn, don't stop trying even if It takes forever you wi get them, I am now doing kickflips down stairs and getting them even better now, don't give up
Plz keep doing these lance skate support videos. It really helps to see you teaching a guy live. It kind of helps to see you doing it with someone not just alone.
***** I learned how to do them just a week ago. I found out I have to slide my foot more out. Not to the point it hurts my inner thighs, but enough to get my front foot out of the way of the board. And make sure you get that flick at the end just right.
It also took me 4 months to learn a kickflip I learned then like 2 weeks ago and I land like 7 out of 10 tries but I'm getting better. I've been like a year now skateboarding.
you're all lucky! i skate almost everyday(not every because sometimes it rains and it sucks) for 5 years and i've been trying to kickflip for 3,5 years i don't know what i've been doing so that i didn't learn how to kick flip yet...
Antichrist 666! Keep at it. Best tip I can give you is do it in the air, like, air Kick Flip. Copy EXACTLY what the people in vids do, lift your legs as high as they do and do everything the same. Then get on your board and see if you can do the same. If you're not, you're probably not committing and doing what you're actually supposed to be doing, if you can't because you have no control, get used to all the previous tricks and get to know how the board works better.
I landed a my first kickflip and my trucks broke the same night. Never replaced it and haven't skated since. I think I want to start skating again. P.S. that dance was sick.
I've never skateboard before. I always liked it but never did....watching this guy Lance learning videos is so inspiring. I'm literally going right now to buy a deck. I don't care how old I'am or whatever, I just wanna learn like this guy does
Proud of ya Lance. Way to climb that mountain. The most intoxicating feeling in the world...those seconds after you stomp it out and land. What's next for Lance? Sky's the limit! Great teacher in Aaron. You guys............................are.....................................................................the best.
Aaron you should make a video of lance practicing his kickflip and heelflip and all other trucks he has learnt and get him to land them and make sure he has actually learnt them cuz I really like watching lance learning tricks and it would be good if he could use the tricks he learnt more often while he is skating in the awesome videos that you guys make ;)
Im proud of you for learning your first ever kickflip! +Braille Skateboarding Thanks for teaching me how to skateboard and I am so grateful. Well done Lance! Cya.
I learned to kickflip on my toy machine monster deck in 1995 on my carpet in my room. I took the trucks off and just practiced using the deck. This helped me learn it alot quicker . It also forces you to pop hard and kick hard and extend your font foot all tge eay out and off the nose of the board due to the fact that you have almost zero clearence from the ground.
Persistence and never giving up are the 2 strongest things on your side. If you feel like you're doing something slightly wrong, step off and take another look at how you could do it. Don't worry about rocket flipping in the beginning, naturally your flips will become straight with more confidence and control. Keep it up bud =)
That was awesome! Congrats Lance! Well deserved! Maybe we weren't all dancing literally like that, but 100% of us were in our minds when you landed it!
Aaron... YOU HELPED ME GET THROUGH SMS VOLUME ONE (with exeption of heelflip) THANK YOU SOOO MUCH U HELP SO MANY PEOPLE TODAY I LANDED MY FIRST KICKFLIP WATCHING ALL OF YOUR SKATE SUPPORTS THANK YOU SOO MUCH AARON YOUR MY INSPIRATION
I have the same exact problem, I just spent the day learning my kick flips and I finally got them. I would do the same, I thought I was doing it great but just not jumping with the board, which was kinda true, the thing that made it easier for me was when I flicked the board, I would bend my foot up at the end as much as possible, try to imagine that your gonna touch your knee with your toe. Once I had that in mind I'd flick it right after I popped and just like with pop-shuvs jump with the board only while "kicking", when coming down Catch with your back foot and sort of quickly slide your front foot back on. This will make it easier since your flicking up. Hope this helps
GREAT JOB LANCE!! JUST WATCHED THIS VID AND I'M AMAZED! IT TOOK QUITE A FEW TRIES, BUT HE WAS PERSISTENT! YOU ALL NEED TO BE THE SAME WAY!! NEVER GIVE UP! KEEP TRYING! :)
ItsJustSteph kickflip is 80% commitment and you have to jump up so you can be over the board when you flick i used to have that problem for like half a year but commitment is key.
Ah! I skated more than 4 years without kickflipping at all (guess no skate community or other skaters and no place to skate at all, played some part in it or my lack of skills), but I still skate and still love skateboarding, maybe also because now I can land some kickflips and heelflips.
My problem with kickflips is I can't get my board to stay underneath my feet. I got the rotation down pretty well, a few mess ups here and there, but The board usually ends up far away from my back foot. Anyone have any pointers?
Your problem is you are kicking out your foot to hard making the board shoot forward. I used to do this learning kickflip. Yesterday my friend told me to flick harder but more towards the nose and I landed my kickflips better and cleaner.
2:52 HEEEYYYY That's the wall I've been trying to get past. Thanks for that. As soon as I stuck my heel up I finally started getting rotation instead of throwing my skateboard thirty feet away.
duuuude! thanks alot for every singel video you made so long. you are the best skateboard teacher i ever seen. continue with this and i promise that im not the only one who have this thoughts. im from sweden by the way so sorry for a little bad english. but anyways, tank you!!
Thanks man this really helped me out I was only landing with my back foot on but I noticed how this guy never gave up so I diddnt give in either and I learned how to do it
I cannot do a kickflip for my life. Doing the one foot drill, I do a great flick every time. Once I try to land, either the board moves a little bit up so my back foot can't land, or I can't keep my feet above the board. Most of my attempts is a good flick, but when I go to catch the board, it is either even with my feet or above, so I just kick the board out. I've tried jumping higher, flicking sooner, and even sucking in my knees to the point where I land crouching, but they all lead to either a new problem or the same outcome as before. If anyone is willing to help me, I'd really appreciate it.
THE TRICK FOR THE KICKFLIP IS, JUMP A LITTLE BACK, AND WHEN YOU FLICK, EXTEND FOR FRONT LEG LIKE A NINJA!!!! I SWEAR, IT MAY FEEL AWKWARD, BUT ITS THE KEY TO LANDING KICKFLIP, NINJA KICK!!! PASSING THE NOSE OF YOUR BOARD, THEN AS YOU GET BETTER, YOU WILL DO IT WITHOUT NINJA KICK, BUT TRUST MI, NINJA KICK IS THE KEY FOR THIS TRICK, IF YOU DONT BELIEVE ME TRY IT YOURSELF
30 and starting all over again. It’s so much easier these days than back in the day having to play videos over and over or having someone’s brother show you. Btw the level of skating is insane! I’m old now haha
Thomas Fjelldal he right if u have an upward flip da board shoots behind u so u jump A lil back n if u flip out or forward it stay under you but flicks slowly
freaks n geeks productions You don't jump back, you're foot follows it. Although, when you kickflip it looks like you're jumping back but it's just the physics on the angle you flick and the pop of the board. It is better to just kickflip and pretend that its right under you (it isn't because it is going backwards, but only a person watching can see that).
ZorlacSkater Yeah, definitely need a real solid ollie...not that lame sh!t I see most kids do (took me about 5 years until I mastered a huge ollie). Pop shove-its are the next logical step after ollies because it's almost the same, except shoving the tail 180 while you pop. Then, kickflips, then varial kickflips, 360 pop shove-its, tre flips, etc. To me, that seems the natural/logical progression.
+taradead yeah honestly I pretty much can land pop shuvits, but with my front foot I just need commitment. I feel i'll land primo everytime I commit lol. But I can't even land 180's because its more commitment than shuvits and kickflips. I dont know, I think he should do ollie, pop shuvit, front 180, fs pop shuvit, back 180 then manuals, nollie and then heelflip, nose manny then kickflip. It's more logical.
Lance well done man it so good to see that you were so happy it shows that you enjoy skating and i serve as an inspiration to young kids that want to learn tricks because you didn't give up well done again and Arron's skate supports helped me learn kickflips too ;)
Thanks to these guys I learned my heel flip really quick but I can't land a kick flip for the life of me. But I have only been skateboarding for a mouth but I feel like I have tried a 10000 times
im watching this to learn to kickflip, ive been trying for months and im 4min into the vid and thats how my kickflips be looking, TOMORROW IS KICKFLIP DAY BOYS LETS GET IT
That victory dance was just as freaking epic as the kickflip

@@mudra3845 muscle memory

Mudra what ways did you try it?
Same I’m close now and I’ve been trying to do it for a week I just have to land on the board
I always come back to this video. It's such a heartwarming moment seeing the stoke on Lance's face when he lands his first kickflip. And Aaron's reaction too. It's priceless.
I can tell lance was trying really really hard in this skate support because he was actually bending his knees.
I have so much fun watching Lance learn new tricks, I actually cheered for him when I saw him land the kf. It brought me back to landing my first one. good memories
I just wanna say that these videos made me buy a board again after like, 11 years off skating.

VildStyle same here, im 31. Havent touched a board since i was 19. :D
Do u still skate now?
@@rohanmont6389 I do! Not all that often, but it brought the hobby (and the boards) back to me :)
This video was my favourite of the lance skate supports. Showed true progression and the true reaction of when you learn something new like that.
Thanks Braille Skateboarding for the Skatesupports :)
Iam from Austria and i cant speak english so good
But thanks for the live skatesupports i learned the kick and heelflips in one month i skate for about 6 month and i can all the basics pretty good!!
Thanks Braille Skateboarding Team for all this good Support :
10:34 i felt so happy for this dude, look at his face :)

i spent a month trying to land.. im still at it and i can grind curbs
I watched this 10 years ago. And I'm back again for the love of how this channel was back then. Love your new content tho. Keep moving forward!
I love the way he says how good lance is doing even when it's a fail. He is always looking on the positive side.
Kickflips took me almost 8 months to learn, don't stop trying even if It takes forever you wi get them, I am now doing kickflips down stairs and getting them even better now, don't give up
Im proud of lance for doing his kickflip and impressed by the dance moves. Woah 🤯😂
The look on Lance's face when he lands it. That feeling is why I skate. It's literally the best feeling in the world.
That "if i can do it you can do it to" singlehandedly determined my plans for the next few days
Did you get it done?
lol no he did not
Plz keep doing these lance skate support videos. It really helps to see you teaching a guy live. It kind of helps to see you doing it with someone not just alone.
I've been waiting for this video for weeks. Congratulations, Lance. XD Took me 4 months to land a Kick Flip, took you 4 days. :P

It’s a good one
Can you make more lance skate supports? I really enjoy them!!
These lance videos are the best thing that has ever happened to me
Lance, I'm very proud of you for landing the first ever kickflip. And can you make a dancing made simple series?
Braille tutorials are so good ,just landed my first kick flip in 2 days

Hahahahahahaha
hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaa...no.
HahahhahahhHhHhHhHhHhH funny
HAHAHAHA HAHAHAHA LMFAO IM DYING RIGHT NOW!!!
Good job Lance love the lance dance!
I honestly thought he was gonna land a Casper before his Kickflips
Hospital / Casper flip is easy
Kieran Poblete
but when u get kickflips down it's a lot harder to stop the board
lol
Lance is terrific. Nice kickflips, maybe seems I can learn 'em switch from this vid. Dancing so good.
When i whant to do that motion "kickflip one foot" i put my kicking foot on the ground and back foot on the skateboard :/
Your most likely pushing your foot down, try standing still and sliding your foot up and popping your ankle up, not down
all my friends say the same but thanks :)
haha well it's probably true :)
I watched this video 50 times. I love it. It really motivates me. Thumbs up
How to dance like lance easiest way tutorial please!!!
I'm really proud of you and now I'll work on doing what you did Lance
i cant kickflip and i have been skating for over 2 years :(
same here bro
i can land it with my front foot i just have problems landing with both feet
keep trying
same here
i can only land with my back foot and i know the problem its just hard to fix because of habits :(
GREAT JOB LANCE!! JUST WATCHED THIS VID AND I'M AMAZED! IT TOOK QUITE A FEW TRIES, BUT HE WAS PERSISTENT! YOU ALL NEED TO BE THE SAME WAY!! NEVER GIVE UP! KEEP TRYING! :)
I get the flick and rotation every time...but my flicking foot always lands on the floor before i can bring it back in to land =[
Have you tried flicking that foot up
yeah, seems no matter what, gravity just loves me lol
You will find the secret, it's cause your not flicking upward your stomping your foot down right when you flick
Same with me
ItsJustSteph kickflip is 80% commitment and you have to jump up so you can be over the board when you flick i used to have that problem for like half a year but commitment is key.
Lance you're one of my hero! Keep up the good work mate!!!
Ah! I skated more than 4 years without kickflipping at all (guess no skate community or other skaters and no place to skate at all, played some part in it or my lack of skills), but I still skate and still love skateboarding, maybe also because now I can land some kickflips and heelflips.
eeeyy das sick
im subbed to you ;)
im subbed to u
Thanks so much aaron i couldn't land my kickflip for 3 months then after i saw this video i started landing them 4 days later. THANKS!
My problem with kickflips is I can't get my board to stay underneath my feet. I got the rotation down pretty well, a few mess ups here and there, but The board usually ends up far away from my back foot. Anyone have any pointers?
Same with me, it always flys out forward
Try to do an Ollie in between Kickflip-tries. Helped me keeping my body on top of the board.
Yeah, I'm getting better now
Your problem is you are kicking out your foot to hard making the board shoot forward. I used to do this learning kickflip. Yesterday my friend told me to flick harder but more towards the nose and I landed my kickflips better and cleaner.
flick up more instead of out
That was awesome he's going ti be kickfliping 3stairs soon i bet aron are you going to take lans through all the skateboarding made simple 's
lance learns fast
2:52 HEEEYYYY That's the wall I've been trying to get past. Thanks for that. As soon as I stuck my heel up I finally started getting rotation instead of throwing my skateboard thirty feet away.
kickflips for me are easier than bs 180's
Edgar Cruz leeeeean backside, then just pop and turn
duuuude! thanks alot for every singel video you made so long. you are the best skateboard teacher i ever seen. continue with this and i promise that im not the only one who have this thoughts. im from sweden by the way so sorry for a little bad english. but anyways, tank you!!
September 2019? 🤔
Care987 Why? I wish lance was still part of braille
Well I can't help, but I have the same problem :D
Try Skater trainers
Try skater trainers and then the board won't move
keep your shoulders straight it helped me
Practice on carpet or soft turf, something soft.
I've gotta say, that was a super clean first kickflip. I seem to always land mine on the tail. Way to go Lance.
So the question is...what is Lance learning next?
Probably varial kicks
mrthekingofal or some 360 shove it's. but probs riding switch!
Lets goooo!!! I'm so close to landing my first kickflip! Well done lance! 🎉❤🎉
Rolling tricks is another story.
I like to do kickflips while rolling a bit fast, because it gives you mental pressure that if you don't land it, you eat concrete. Lol
Taco Master That's another way to look at failing kickflips :D
Its a lot easier if you're riding
Taco Master Yet another reason why rolling tricks are harder, fear of falling

2 years of being taught kickflips wrong and I still can't land them and nothing helps
Cade Evans maybe because you first have to get the basics down... learn ollies, manuals and pup shuvit first

What! Im so Glad you landed your first kickflip, great job Lance.
