    1. Avoid oil and sugar completely
    2. Avoid or minimize simple
    carbohydrates like rice,maida,chana,
    potato etc.
    3.complex carbohydrates like
    oats,dalia,can be taken in moderation
    4. Protein and vegetables should be
    eaten along with 10 to 12 pcs of dry
    fruits for good fat.
    Protein source like chicken breast,egg, legumes/daalein, paneer,fish
    This diet not only reduce the cholesterol and triglycerides but also reduce fat.improve longgivity

    I lost 6 kg with my diet plan and regular exercise in one month. How time it's take to normalize your cholesterol and tritriglycerides. My age 37 does it required to start with medicine and Also my post/fasting is in normal range now

    Are Almonds and chia seeds good for heart??
    Dr.Bimal chhchar is saying It's very bad for heart because it contains triglycerides.
    But Most of other doctors are saying Almonds are very heart healthy...

      Saaol toh sirf ghans khaneko kehata hai, simple carbohydrates se tryglycrides badhta hai lekin yeh baat saool kabhi nahi batata hai, sirf tel aur non veg ke pichhe pada hua hai.

      Hi..my triglycerides was 451 few months back. I followed a strict diet..no oily food (excpt olive oil), no sugar (jaggery powder at times) and avoided carbs like bakery items, bread, buns etc. Had protein rich food and high fibre food. Add lot of veggies n fruits in ur diet. Of course n I started walking and worked out alternate day. I lost around 8 kgs and last month when i checked the levels came down to 202. The point is if its goin down naturally then y to depend on medicines. Even i was in the same dilemma but i din want to depend on any medication. The choice is urs.

    Cholesterol kya hai. Triglyceride kya hai. Dono me se Konsa jyada khotarnak hai. LDL kyon borti hai. Fats kya hai. Mera TG Cholesterol se jyada hai. Total cholesterol kya hai.

      Reduce carbohydrate intake, sleep 8 hrs in night. Walk minimum 45 minutes daily. If you work without sleep or habit of working late night then triglycerides keeps increasing.
