That was heartbreaking to hear Charles had filled the hole that your brother left. I’m so sorry buddy. Don’t be afraid to reach out/ask for help. When you find out what the family wants to do with the car let us know and maybe as a community we can make it possible. Car people are the best people.

Damn Barry, sorry to hear of Charles passing. It's saddening to know that his dream of driving this car won't happen but, sometimes there just isn't enough time. Take your time in grieving his loss. We'll be ok without any videos. I'm sure many of us here have our own projects to occupy us in the meantime. Keep on keeping on.

I've been following this build, as I have a 69 that I'm currently doing a rotisserie resto on. I'm so sorry to hear of Charles passing, but am grateful to hear that he knew the Lord. That's what really matters. Further grateful to hear that you also are a believer. I suspect Charles and his family would want you to finish the car and I hope you do. Thank you for what you do here and thank you for sharing your faith. God Bless!

I am truly sorry for your loss my friend. I say friend because that is what you have become even though we have never met. Your contributions here on your channel are so valuable to the classic car community and to those who are trying to bring their dreams into a real drivable reality. Charles' passing brings home the reality that we all live in, but it also shows the love and compassion of those in our hobby who dare to bring something forgotten and even neglected back to life...those rusty vehicles. You may not realize it, but you are a dream facilitator and have helped me and countless others with their dream car. Mine is a 1968 Chevy II Nova SS 350 and it's almost back on the road. I haven't worked on it for almost a month due to illness, but I'm getting my butt back in the garage today thanks to your video today. God bless you.

I’m so sorry for your loss. I’m 57. We’re going through this right now as well. Losing our builders and the owners. We’re all passing. I sincerely hope his family and you and your subscribers can find a way to fund and finish that project. A way to honor Charles, your friendship and the ride. A way for you to heal. A way for the family to have and hold his dream. Or cash a fat check in the end. Either way. The car should be finished as planned. It appears as though that is what Charla wanted. Prayers for Charles and his family. So sad he didn’t get to see it through. I was worried this would happen as I built my last car. Now I worry what will come of it. I hope the world takes care of all these historic hotrods. I know this one here literally contains my hopes, dreams, abilities, blood, sweat and so many tears. Just like that one…. You ALL know what must be done.

These moments in life certainly let the winds out of our sails.
I was alarmed when I was informed the owners name.
I knew a Charles and Marian Buzbee that were avid car enthusiasts. Both husband and wife ran auto repair shop out in west Texas. Marian is a guru on carburetors as well as many other aspects of auto repair. So obviously I had to make an inquiry about their situation. Not the same people. Great people none the less.

I don't know you but you have helped me get an idea on how to do things along the way of restoring my 1967 Mustang fastback. I know that as I have gone though this build I have a couple of friend whom have helped me along the way celebrating success, commiserated set backs and eve argued with along the way. So I am truly sorry for you loss. I don't know who coined this saying that I have heard before. "We don't own these cars we are merely custodians of them" This rings true when I have heard of someone in the industry passing on. We truly are blessed to have good friends that when they are gone we morn deeply. Stay well.

Ugh sorry man, thats rough. As they say live every day because you don't know what tomorrow will bring. I am so fortunate to have my Mum and Dad at 90 years old but you know the end can't be far away. I'm sure the car will be a fantastic tribute to your friend.
