Call to Mars was silly but lots of fun. I'm happy to see it back in another form this year.
I loved Mars event. One of my favorite events from WOT

Exactly. The MM is right out stupid. Some games 4 light tanks at T10, other games none. Not to mention the fact that the MM is still not taking in to account skills of the players. I do not enjoy wining games when I roll over the opposing team. And also I hate being trashed like shit. My experience every 10 games there are maybe 2 games evenly balanced.
Please no more tanks that look like cartoons

There is literally an option in the game that allows you to turn of non historical and fantasy skins. Stop complaining about stuff you can literally turn off.

2. The event looks like a childish clown show. We want events that are built around tanks and which have alt least some roots in reality
3. The special crewmen faces of fantasy backgroind cannot be changed
4. new tank skins are 99% always non-historical which obviously is a disgusting imbalance

2: You have the mental capacity to simply ignore that this event even exists.
3: You don't have to use those crewman.
4: No one is forcing you to use those styles. And its not like those styles give tanks special abilities.
I despise the direction that wargaming is taking the game, especially with the loot boxes, op premiums and the fast matches, not to mention gold spam. But I also dislike people who complain about things that do not impact the actual game, i.e. 3d camos and extra game modes. You want historical accuracy? go play WT. No one has a gun pointed at your head.

2. Ignoring the event doesnt give me a different event.
3. If I dont use these crewmen I put me in a disadvantage as I lose tjeir zero perk ability.
4. Not using these styles doesnt give me a different style.
5. If there were more grounded events roughly in balance with tje clown events then you had a point. But there are none. Zero. I have therefore any right to complain about this infantile and childish development.
The Mars event is one of the most fun of their side games. I was laughing out loud watching people sail off the plateau. I totally get why people hate the collabs and the goofy special events, but they are a nice antidote to the rage fest of Onslaught.
Yea, Mars event is really fun for a bit. Once a year is probably best for it though.
It was extremely boring imo and I don't expect anything different this time. The only wot limited time events I ever enjoyed were around Halloween

Shooting arty in an low G environment must be a blast, if the shell does one or few orbits before it hits.
Without course correction burns or a gravity assist it'll either work like any other artillery shell or it'll just get yeeted into space, never to return.
I got real. I stopped spending money on the game and the craziest things happened: There's food in the fridge, gas in my car, booze in my bar, bought a new tablet, added more subscriptions to my online shows, bought new clothes and I'm only a few hundred from owning my new electric bike. 5 years of WG nonsense was enough.

That's also what i want to know, but probably not gonna buy anything.
Don't need the premium days, i never use decals and inscriptions, styles fun but not worth paying for, personal reserves also have enough,(always forget to use them), i am always short of zero skill crew members so that is a +, experimental equipment (not sure about this one).
The tanks i probably have 2 or 3 out of the 8 (10) with my luck , so i'll wait till Christmas at least it has gold so i can pay for the BP chapters.
missed opportunity for WG: have Spock commander after a kill say "guess who won't live long and prosper.." in the original voice of the OG actor. that would help wg get at least 10k gold from my pocket :)

It's actually 3 loot box events. Lunar, St Patrick's and this.
But technically you can't buy these until the 5th month so......
WG said that experimental equipment could not be purchased and would be obtained only in combat missions and events.
If they put experimental equipment in lootboxes they are selling it. Shame on you WG.
How do you play this event? What are the controls for boost? For shields? I don't know. How do i go and deliver the shards?? Are you going to do a tutorial?

As a big Star Trek fan I want that skin... but getting that skin + tank would be a pain as I would get unlucky as usual and it will be the last thing to drop. So I would have to pass on these loot boxes... 😤😤

It took me 40k games but finally I have now all tanks (researchable) and my motivation is now down to zero.
Give me back the game spirit as it was 10 years ago and not all these blinky, toylike tanks and 14:1 games . No fun in losing 1:14 and no fun winning 14:1. ( BTW I win more than I lose but still it is no fun to rofelstomp over the enemy )

This game is getting more and more clownish, Ninja Turtles now this? Omg for real. Unfortunately, this great game that I loved since I started playing in 2013, started to die very quickly at the beginning of this year, 2024. I don't know who is leading this company, in the entertainment department, but it seems to me that they have lost their ability to innovate and be creative. I've lost the desire to play since they introduced those clowning cartoons of ninja turtles and tanks with those skins. I don't know if I'll play again, but I don't think so because I think this will get even worse. RIP Wargaming. RIP my lovely WOT 😢😢😢

I'm not that enthusiastic about this event. Yet more tier 8 premium tanks in loot boxes. What a surprise. As if we don't have enough tier 8 premium tanks already. As a star trek fan this collaboration doesn't fit at all. It's fine as a special game mode. Nothing more. I thought the turtles were bad enough.

I hate it. It is too cartoonish. Anyway, I play less and less. Rng, the sighting system and MM drive me crazy...🤬🤬🤬 I play Armored Warfare now.

RNG completely removes any hope of fun in this game. Please somebody make a better tank game so I can burn this one to the ground. metaphorically speaking. BTW, what happened to the map effects on Prokhorova? The bombers are never there anymore. Only Safehaven and Ensk see any environment enhancements. Bring back the bombers you Whack jobs.

I am a huge trek fan, but like most trekkies, we really dislike the JJ Abrams films. So its a bummer they used that, instead of one of the series. But, I do enjoy this game mode from last year. So I am sure I will play it and have fun again.
Even so, Chris Pine not signing back on kinda killed it, so WG probably found that particular part of the IP the least expensive of the bunch.

The mars event was the most fun I've had in WOT since at least 2019, I'm glade its back. Although I would've preferred that it was with the Call to Mars map and music because of the overall aesthetic.

I like Trek (just not NuTrek) and I'm a Cold War Tanker... but for the luv of Gene Roddenbeery, don't mix the two 🤬🤬 Also, the voice actors are cringe... and as a Trek Nerd - you can't steal anti-matter that simply 😮 needs to be in a container etc etc.. but don't think it's the point of the event.. You think was got dizzy doing the Inverse Axis Challenge, Dez?? THIS makes me dizzy and my brain hurt! I may play on the map etc, but not grabbing boxes and such. And like the TNMT BP - I'm getting the crew and c/c's etc, but most will sit in the Barracks, and the skins will sit in the bin. GI Joe stuff was one of the few cartoon crossover thingies I didn't mind 😉

At this point, the past chance this game has to try to get me back is the new Czech lights. Honestly, TMNT battles pass is the first I haven't ever fully finished. Didn't even finish a single of the 3 branches. Didn't like the Martian game mode before, but forced myself to finish it. Been off the game for over a month now, & it's been my main game for 10 years. Lack of new maps because they're "hard to balance" but they can redo the same maps over & over... Teams gave gotten way worse over the last half year. Shooting ghost shells that haven't been addressed. I'm just not seeing the devs addressing long standing problems & heading in a direction with the game that isn't what got me into it in the first place.
WG was so close, yet so far away on this one. They should have done Strange New Worlds instead of that JJ Abrams crap that Star Trek fans generally hate. Those movies were total garbage.
