    Just pulled the trigger on one of these. I’ve already swapped all 4 of my joycons to their shells. Looking forward to doing this mod.

      When you connect the power, is the console charging as well as it does on the factory dock?

      Yes it acts like the OEM dock, only smaller.

    The smaller form factor is a plus but I wish you had run some thermal tests to see if it made any difference. The AiryDocky claims to have better airflow in its advertising. If not then I see little reason for the average person to purchase this unless they travel with the dock a lot. But if I had $40 burning a hole in my pocket and a free afternoon I could see me doing this just for fun. It's pretty funny when you take apart the dock only to find a single board inside; it's basically just a plastic stand. Nintendo should have gone with this design in the first place.
