6'9 youngster will be well needed in higher level bball, not saying that 7footer would not be. But if the 6'9 kat can move back & forth on the hardwood and used his body, his going to get very far in meeting his goal, if that his devotion. Keep it up to both of those young men.

The 7 footer has great accuracy and a quick release once he gets set, but with his body type and the way he moves, he absolutely needs a high release point well above his head. I think his coaches should be working with him on this now, so he is prepared for the next level of defenders. Even if his shot gets a little worse in the short term....his coaches should be thinking about the long term future of this player over winning games.

With respect - I say this as a former fat hooper - the amount of hours and work required to relearn an already lethally accurate shot is certainly MORE work than getting on good strength/conditioning/nutrition program (assuming Connor doesn't have some underlying health issue that causes his heft). Shooting passing and mivement and mass and dowl low dominance with both together... unless they just get outrun or out sprinted, that size and touch and play combined could be challenging to stop on offense... in and out between the two with wing players, scrappers and runners in the 2,3,4 and i bet, at that level, they wouldnt lose.

  • @fee8255

My intention is not to be condescending, so here we go. In my opinion, number 55 found his three point range skills probably because it was hard for his body to move down the court as fast as everybody else. Number 30 seems to get along pretty well for as gigantically huge as he is. I am 5 foot 7 inches tall. I once asked a guy that ducked into a gas station to go inside, if it kind of sucked being so tall, he seemed offended and he replied to me “does suck being so short”? And I replied to him “yes I can’t reach plates cups out of the cupboard”. The man worked for Miller Tree Service in Osceola, Iowa.

If this were before the mid 2000's he could have pro potential. The other guy won't be able to play D1 because most teams have centers that run the court. Bennett looks like a basketball player. Williams looks like a big guy playing basketball. Williams passes and shoots well against much smaller players. Put him against another big player with some skill and he'd be toast. Bennett looks like he could ball. He can at least run and jump. Also, I bet Williams is a super nice kid. He doesn't use his size to bully anyone. Bennett, on the other hand, uses his size to bang people around. He looks physical. I think he would give Williams a lot of trouble.

6'9" kid has a more muscular body and can do power moves, more athletic. 7' kid is a "oh hell no" elevator type guy. Just bigger than anyone else.

The 7 ft kid is more than 360.. I work with some 5'9 310 and 325ers and they are big but walk around completely normal.. And can run if they need to no problem. So this dude is huge probably closer to 400

7ft at that size is way more than 360. I weighed 350 at 6ft and looked basically as fat as that. No way a ft difference only leads to 10 extra pounds.

@@paulthompson2374 Zion was never 320 when he was playing lol he was 280-290 max and has a lot more muscle dude probably isnt a legit 7 foot either 6'10-6'11 max if dude is 6'10 370-375 lbs without shoes its entirely believable take off some muscle and replace it with fat add 4-5 inches and 80-90 lbs that fits

I can see the 6'9" guy making the NBA, but I don't think the 7' guy would. Even if he can shoot he's got no handles to speak of and he would get stuffed every time in the NBA. Kudos to him for being involved in sports though.

He is a clever passer but has horrible low release on his shot and not much ambitious defensively. Sort of a stranger to the paint.
