"Ni" here is used because it marks one's goal or destination. Another reason to use "ni" is to indicate the place where a thing(s) or a person(s) is(or are) present. In Lesson 6, we used "de" because it indicates the place where an action occurs. In short, "ni" casts the sight upon a place, while "de" upon an action. As for your second question, it depends on if you put the noun (Mary, for this video) first or if you are going to add the time (tomorrow, yesterday, etc.)
This lesson is paced faster than the previous ones when it should really be the slowest out of the first ten in my opinion. I would have liked more explanation than what was provided. Anyway, these videos are very well done for the most part and quite helpful.
i think the best way i've come to learn the japanese language, is by watching a lot of Studio Gibli movies because I've observed they use complete sentences. I found that a lot of the Anime such as Naruto or Bleach that i love to watch use a lot of slang words, or they shorten a lot of the phrases so its extremely casual, not something that has been recommended to learn for those in beginners levels if you're still building proper sentence structure and vocabulary. But what Japanese anime DOES help with, is getting used to the speed and sound of the language. As well as watching kids cartoons.
+doyouzgot2knw you r right, anime has lot slangs , and something like naruto or dragon ball, full of special move names in one episod, thats the japanese word you never use in regular life, so watching japanese tv series is good, they made lot of tv series about solving crime or something
right? used the numbers lesson to teach my daughter how to count to 100, and she can count to 100 in Japanese easily now, but cannot get past 20 in English, its cute when she stumbles around 20 in English, gets frustrated and finishes counting in Japanese xD
I go on with lessons but i often come back... and step by step, even if i learn every single lection I feel my japanese growing. Thanks to this wonderful sensei
Thanks for teaching🙏🙏😘, It is very boring🙄now because of the virus😓, I only stay at home so I tried to learn Japanese because I like to go to Japan🇯🇵, hope it will be better soon and the people on the cruise will be healthy and they can be better soon
Essentially に and へ are interchangeable for the purposes of Japanese learners and most all Japanese speakers. There are circumstances where a translator or someone at a professor or academic level in Japan may have to make a distinction between the two, but they almost always are interchangeable and neither is more or less polite.
i have started with Japanese recently and I find your videos really helpful. I thank you on behalf of all the students that are actually learning the language.
I also noticed that she rushed this lesson, but she wanted to get a defined amount of information in 7 minutes. But her teaching style is so good that I now have the basis for understanding particles. Wish she was still teaching. She has the patience of my elementary school teacher. But this was 10 years ago. Hope she appreciates the favorable comments.
These videos are really good! I'm currently studying japanese at a small school in the city, and the teaching is nowhere near as clear as this. This is super helpful, thank you!
It wasn't fast paced, she just introduced more vocabulary words than in previous videos, which is very important when u learn a new language. Just take your time in memorizing these words, no one wants you to rush. Also, damn its 2020!!
YES! I now know how to say that my mother went to the department store yesterday >:D soon I will know how to add that she bought me ke-ki!!! muahahahahahah
へ and に can be used the same way: to indicate the destination of the action. But に is more emphatic ( Maybe I'm mistaken, but one of those is indeed more emphatic than the other ) . に can replace へ, but へ can't replace に in some cases, so I just don't use it. ( btw, I'm not japanese or anything, I'm just trying to help.
The order is very flexible. Some general rules of thumb are topic before subject, time and location towards the beginning, direct and indirect objects towrds the end, and nothing after the verb except for verb auxilliaries and particles.
One can easily guess from raishuu - next week raigetsu - next month rainen - next year That "rai" = next "shuu" = week "getsu" = month "nen" = year And with a bit of your knowledge of numbers, you can see that the literal meaning of the word for "May" is "Fifth month."
This is definately the most difficult lesson so far >.< i think everything was being explained a bit too fast. I do really like these lessons however, they are a great help!
へ specifically refers to a direction or goal (i.e. heading somewhere - a destination). に, amongst other things refers generally to the location in general.
when wa is used as a particle it is used as は, where as in normal words it is represented by the hiragana わe.g. in わたし or "watashi", wa is represented by わ
When は (ha) is used as topic marker in a sentence, it is read as "wa", and, because of that, when we read romanized Japanese, they transcribe as if it were "わ". :)
Thank you very much .Arigato gozeimas. For your lovely lessons.I love Japanese people and language. I try to visit you channel to learn some Japanese language. Thank you again Best regards Turel
A very nice way of teaching. I appeared JLPT N4 twice but failed in kikitori.. This video helps me as if watashi wa sensei to hanase masu!!!! correct me if my sentence is wrong.
Ohisashiburi desu ne ! It's nice to see you again. This lesson is a little bit difficult for me and I'm sure that the scrip (by a clic on "plus" will help me a lot). Sorry for my bad English... Arigatô gozaimasu.
Gotta admit VERY helpful I needed to learn the particles to put into sentences to learn grammar. I learned hiragana and kana so I'm off to learning kanji, grammar structure, faster reading, and culture. Thank u very much for this video even though it was made like a year ago lol.
DEAR JAPAN SOCIETY AND DEAR SENSEI, THANK YOU FOR THIS WONDERFUL COURSE. IT REALLY HELPS TO LEARN STEP BY STEP. MAY WE KNOW WHO IS OUR SENSEI? SHE IS PERFECT TEACHER.
Too bad im not living in the US to learn more of her :(. My only hope is to wait for more online lessons of miyashita sensei. thank you so much for all your efforts.
Thank you for your comment! We're glad to hear that the images are helpful!

I feel the same way. Too fast and new words.

This gives me chills...

The pictures separated by the particles were fantastic! My brain picked it up and clarified so quickly! Thank you for sharing this with us.
Plot twist: Mary-san was unable to go to Boston on May 2020 due to the coronavirus.
Some random person's going to watch this video on Friday the 15th of May 2020 and get really freaked out.

is it '' okaasan wa kino depato ni ikimashita'' ?
@@graciellatagala7241 It should be "haha" instead of "okaasan" since you're talking about your own mother.
おかあさん-okaasan(casual way of saying mother), はは-haha(is used when describing your family to someone)
