Knew every inch of it. Keep the name shout outs........I remember a Beattie family bottom of Cassie drive, and the Turnbulls. from 5 apts in the wee cul-de sac at the power station. Road from the baths to Barlia was called the Country Walk.
Through the 70s we lived up Mitchellhill flat 7, my wee granny was right across the road on Ardencraig, and in the next close to them was my great aunty..........great days.....great days.
Wullie . We spoke to one guy who was sleeping rough behind the baths : most where folk who stayed alone and had nothing or no visitors on Christmas: not everyone was homeless
Maybe if you’ve nothing better to do , give them a hand out at the wee church across from the baths on Christmas Day : you’ll be able to speak to them : there’s a good lad
