For the people wondering why we use our hands to put the corn syrup into the kettle it would stick to gloves or a ladle too much if we did that, trust us we've tried. Also the health code regulations that we abide by have determined that it is more than safe for us to do so without gloves because we then heat the candy up to 310ºF or 154ºC. As for the people worrying that Max didn't use soap when "washing his hands," he actually wasn't washing his hands, corn syrup isn't unsanitary or pathogenic, he was just rinsing the corn syrup off of his hands. And the reason he was rinsing his hands in between grabbing the corn syrup is because if you rinse your hands under cold water then corn syrup won't stick to your hands very much. Ok I don't know if anybody else suggested this, as I attempted skimming the comments, but Pina Colada as a suggested mix. .... pineapple body and coconut stripe. My family has a Christmas tradition to make hard candy EVERY year. We make about 20-30lbs worth. Enough for every sibling(6), grandchild(16) and my mom to get a bag full. Only thing I don't like is we anyways mix all the different flavors together in a mixed up batch. I would prefer letting us pick and choose which flavors we want. And we just use vandy roll pans, pour it into them and use kitchen shears to cut tiny pieces. Fast, before it hardens. Anyways, think I'm going to try making pina colada and layering the 2 flavors, then cut the 2 layers into tiny pieces.
I see alot of people talking about how everyone in the comment section talks about how much sugar they see but I havent seen anyone complain about the sugar. I just see people complaining about the imaginary people saying how much sugar there is.😂
Check "new comments", there are a lot of people complaining about it. Why don't you take the time to look rather than checking all thr huge comments huh?

Pina Colada as a suggested mix. .... pineapple body and coconut stripe.
Anyways, think I'm going to try making pina colada and layering the 2 flavors, then cut the 2 layers into tiny pieces.
watching him mix all the candies together made me sleepy... so relaxing
Yep same
It stressed me out a lil bit when she would walk away or stop to talk or sum for some reason lol idk why
This really makes me want to get into candy making, and I just found out, you guys are just over 2 hours away! May be worth a visit someday soon! 👀
Come on in! We're making ribbon candy tomorrow!
you guys are one of my favorite channels by far! Such good content

yoyo casper sameee it makes me feel so uncomfortable
Mhm
I see alot of people talking about how everyone in the comment section talks about how much sugar they see but I havent seen anyone complain about the sugar. I just see people complaining about the imaginary people saying how much sugar there is.😂
Santana Kitson true 😂😂
Check "new comments", there are a lot of people complaining about it. Why don't you take the time to look rather than checking all thr huge comments huh?
Abcde Qwerty bro... chill, god damn. Not everyone reads that far down the comment section.
Abcde Qwerty it was a joke chill damn
only destiel ITS A JOKE. Comments are different I scrolled far to find this comment and I haven’t seen any of those comments
this is such a nice working environment! I also love how every thing is hand made and not with machinery
There was a little chocolate shop near where I live owned by an old lady but she went out of business and I’m pretty sure she made the chocolates herself. She was so nice☹️
Edit:this is the most likes I’ve ever gotten on one of my comments!❤️
Probably due to covid 19 lockdown
Victor Oliveira Ronaldo it happened before people even knew about Covid -19
:(
Jammy Time 69th like nice
Meme Lord 😂Lol
When Steve was using that scooper to mix the hard candy together, 👌. That was some ASMR goodness right there!
Christina what time?

@@gloria284 at the end
That asmr when he’s mixing the candies could put a soldier in active combat to sleep.
This video gave me so much ASMR vibes.. So fascinating to watch the procedures n hear interesting conversations. Great.
42:49 If I worked there, whenever my children misbehaved I’d take them to the back and make them sit there and sort all the candies out by color lol
Jonelle85 they’d start eating it
They'd start eating it
They'd start eating in my nigga
Nigga they'd eat it
Your probably a big nigga so your big nigga kids would just eat it
If we're talking duo toned duo flavored candies.. A drinks bag would be awesome like strawberry lemonade, pina colada(pineapple coconut), mojito(mint lime), creamsicle milkshake(orange vanilla), and so forth.. that would be epic.
strawberry banana
And cherry cola 😋
What about vanilla and root beer
honestly i couldnt think of any duo tone flavors that would work but that seems perfect
Agreed
no one:
me while watching this: watermelon sugar hiGGGHHHH
I’m getting bad flashbacks at the likes , since it’s at 69 , I won’t like.
Many others: 👁️👄👁️
Lol!
The conversations are so freaking normal and that’s what I love the most !
“I got an alert on my phone and I thought I was approaching my data limit”
“Oh it’s just a tornado warning ”
I think most of us can really relate with that right there 😂
I love listening to people working together and having ordinary conversation without yelling and screaming and threatening mayhem and death. I consider this channel an important part of my PTSD therapy.
This is absolutely beautiful.
You must be so happy while watching these videos. It's soothing and calming being in that well of a flowing work room while having fun and laughing with everyone. Tons of random subjects, of, questions, and discussions without yelling or biased anger.
So happy for you to have found something like this that can help you in those and many more ways
I am Japanese.I think that this job is very hard, and it makes us happy.
I cannot understand to say them, but they look fun.
I like it!
😹💓
How did you write the comment then?
@@froguly They might have used Google translate? Or they might have been studying English for awhile now. Don't assume that because their Japanese, doesn't mean that they don't know English... (Half Japanese here btw)
angel cat She didn’t ask why they didn’t understand because they’re Japanese. She probably asked because in their comment, they literally wrote :”I cannot understand to say them” which I’m assuming means “I cannot understand what they’re saying”. So yeah, I’d wonder how they typed the comment in English if they don’t understand the language, at least when it’s spoken..
M E D I O C R E M E L O D Y you idiot 🤦🏾♂️🤦🏾♂️🤦🏾♂️🤦🏾♂️
@@lalabest1aj that's why angel cat said google translate
"i actually got an alert on my phone, i thought i was approaching my data limit but *sigh * it was actually just a
*tornado warning* "

That game he's talking about was called spy hunter and I absolutely loved that game growing up LoL 😂
Congratulations Terry and Steve on your anniversary 35 years brilliant. ❤

The minute 31:32 makes me laugh a lot about the water flavor. When he said "It’s good" with that mad face. I really enjoyed that part 😂
Love water flavor 😂
Happy anniversary Terry and Steve. Wow 35 years. 🤗😘
They said thank you Paulette!
