Even if the music style of con altura is definately latino music, she made many spanish references in the song (llevo a camaron en la guantera, etc) and dressed using spanish elements (especially the earrings when she's in the red outfit which are typical flamenca earrings). Not to mention, her movements when she dances, etc and her way of pronouncing are andalusian (even though she's catalana, not andalusian, but still, spanish) ♥.

A mi me parece una maravilla este vídeo. Siendo en apariencia tan sencillo, con un entorno vulgar, voces casi susurrantes, sin grandes alardes, lo encuentro de una elegancia y un sentimiento que me impacta. Hay magia.
Spotify tells me this is the only song that has been in my top 10 for three years in a row now, and number 1 this year. I went through a really difficult period at the beginning of 2024 and I was in a pretty dark place for a few months. This beautiful song was something for me to lean on, and this video reminded me to connect to my inner child and to the love I was receiving from the people closest to me. I don't know if I'll continue to listen to this beautiful song as much as I have these last few years. There's a good chance that I will, but even if I don't, I'll be incredibly grateful to James and Rosalía for creating something that has transported me whenever I've needed it.

I have the habit of listening to music before I sleep. Once, I did it as usual but, by 3 am, I suddenly woke up and this music was playing in my Spotify radio (random songs the app picks so you can listen to). Primavera Sound 2019: they were both together, they sang this one and it was awesome. Also she dedicated a few beautiful words to James, she said that it was an absolute honor to sing with him, especially since she used to listen to him a few years ago when she was still studying there, at Barcelona. She said she used to sit at the beach with her headphones on, listening to his voice.
