***NOTE - The airflow direction through the filter is DOWN. There are many videos that show the filter with the arrow pointing up...this is incorrect! The airflow is DOWN. I tested it to be sure...
@@chrisdubroy72yep, some are up and some are down, no quality control, your mileage may vary. In the end, it’s a pollen filter, it does not matter what way it is in.
@@KrizAkoni You are absolutely correct sir. The air flow is down, anyone with common sense can look at the filter and see the air flow by where the dirt js. You don't have to be a rocket scientist to figure that out...lol.
Thank you! Everyone is saying everything EXCEPT his to get these pins out. I guess their trucks don't have the pins reinstalled. Mine sure did because the box wouldn't drop down low enough to pull the filter. Again thank you sir. Happy 2023!
The pin has a flange/lobe - it may need to be rotated to not interfere with the lip… Mine does not appear to have much for it to interfere with, interesting.
@@KrizAkoni I was flipping out because one of mine is damage and was stuck in and the glove box part that attaches was cracked. my glove box was crooked and always wondered why lol. removed the stuck white plastic pin crap and it's better. thx
Why put the white clips back in after you take them out? The glove box isn't going anywhere because of the tabs in the back and the side cord......just saying😊
Mine also only took a few minutes. Even with the elastic and stops released, the door on mine world not drop without pulling the pins. Thanks for commenting! 🤓

Thanks and Happy New Year!
Great video and thanks for showing the detail on how to fully remove and reinsert the white tabs!
Thanks, I’m glad you found it useful! 🤓
Thanks for your video, I just fixed my glove box and replaced the cabin filter, just by following your video..great help.
Glad it helped!
Thanks for the detailed explanation & good video. Made it simple. Kinda
Glad it helped!
You sir get a like and sub. You found out the easy method
Thank you! Great video
One of the pins in our Explorer is up against a lip so I am unable to slide it out. Have yet to find a video with the same issue.

What was ford thinking its a bear to get those white clips back in. For the record you can leave them out.
I have no idea what they were thinking! Yes, thank you for pointing out that you can leave these out… 😎

Agree just change mine and the idiots send me the wrong filter size from Amazon

My ocd wouldn’t let me leave them out…it works fine without them though!
That looks easier than my 96 Taurus. I have to do a transmission filter change soon. Good Luck, Rick
Ew...dropping that pan is never any fun. 🧐
I just unclipped the elastic from the right side. Released the “stops” to allow the door to drop and reached through. 15 minutes? Tops

I am having hell getting the white tabs to line up. Is there a trick?
I had trouble as well…just keep at it and you’ll eventually get it back in.
@@KrizAkoni Thanks man. It is a piss poor design.
Look at the amount of pollen. Oh my ...
You can almost shovel it here in Maryland, 🤣
good to change it did look dirty
After seeing the 1st one I had to do this one.
