Well done you... you are blessed to be there in that parikarma.... when i used to live in amritsar i felt so so blessed... i used to spend my off days sitting under the berry tree looking at the beautiful sarovar and listening to kirtan... pure bliss... i still close my eyes and feel transported to parikarma ( the place around the sarovar, pool).
I believe that main purpose of Sikhi is to educate people , because 500 years ago. in India ,people believe in caste system and worship idols , so the whole purpose of Sikhism to eradicate these problems. As all Sikh have last name Singh so they can’t judge anyone by his caste , even eating on floor whether you are rich or poor is also another example to promote equality and karpan knife is for both women and men to promote equality and fight for justice, even meditation to peace our mind, its really cool you are experiencing some good vibes , We all should become open i guess every religion have some positive vibes its really cool to feel that energy .
