Hey! I notice a lot of you are enjoying the series (specifically this video) if you'd like me to more videos on Star Wars (or anything else) leave a reply and I'll consider every single one!
Got the Switch edition. Fun, brought back nostalgia. No dlc, sadly ,but great game so far. Also, seeing the Sith Stalker armor on Wii graphics, it actually looks pretty cool for its era of Star Wars and the games.
Imagine, you're playing this well past your bedtime. You're getting close to the end. Your face is red, your ears are hot, your palms are sweaty. This is the final boss. The epic music in the background. Watching Vader's suit break away as you battle. This was the power you tasted in the first mission. And now you're going up against it. Such was my first experience with this. And to top it off, I got *this* ending by accident too. God! I miss this game!
Darth Sidious: "Actually Disney has made me into space zeus with the lightning and all and so I am your father (and probably the father of a bunch of inquisitors)."
This concept is awesome...the idea of you playing a character as powerful as Vader and fight him to the point of his armor get almost entirely destroyed is beyond awesome.
I always thought this Vader was so well developed as a main villain to this precise plot, that you almost forget hes Anakin, like, you dont even need him to be someone else, he been the dark lord of the sith is already enough.
@sub-zero5433 and also anyways it's already shown that it was only Luke who'd be able to bring him back, and this is around the time when vader pretty much been accepted he's a dog for the emperor until his death
I personally like the vader fight in this version rather than ps3/xbox 360. His armor is slowly destroyed throughout the fight rather than in QTE. And the QTE beat down of Vader in this version is more satisfying and brutal imo
I like how Juno crashes into the dome to get the prisoners instead of landing outside of it. It made no sense that they could just walk out into the vacuum of space in the ps3/360 version and survive. Both are still unrealistic but this one’s a little bit better.
I love and prefer the ps2 version wayyy more than the next gen version. It's way better and you can even force choke in the ps2. However some of the cutscenes on how they play out are better in the next gen version like when Vader first meets Galen and kills his father and takes him in. More emotional resonance. Other than that ps2 is the best.
I played this game on the Wii, I recognized it so easily. This game was so awesome. It would be really cool if this game became remastered. I still don’t know why back then games were so different on other consoles. Now, games are the same on other consoles.
I wish they mix the ps2 realism ( with Vader being slowly broken up and having accurate blue Phase "3 " amour for the 501st during the battle of kayashik ) and xbox360 graphic's .

As a kid I loved the PS2 version to death and with new game plus being able to wear any costume and have any lightsaber colour was awesome to see in the cutscenes, despite the graphics this was the better version compared to the pc/xbox one outside the post main game "what if" scenarios with the dark side edition. I miss this game so much.
Ayo hold up, how did Starkiller not die at 1:12? I'd imagine he'd have broken bones or something after getting hurled through what looks like a large metal bar ( with such speed and force that it shattered like glass ) and then getting flung another, like, 30 yards, and landing on his face.
No, how the hell did Vader not die. I absolutely hated how these games have his helmet completely destroyed yet he’s fine when in the movie he died in minutes
@@khayree7929 iirc, Vader uses the dark side to keep himself alive, but since he turns back in ROTJ he can't keep himself alive. There's probably a Legend that explains it, lol.
@@solitairemario if that’s the case how is he fine in TFU 2 taking a whole barrage of force lightning and being fine? It’s not the dark side that kept Vader alive but plot armor. I am absolutely livid with how the way Vader is bitched around in both games then expected to be taken serious in a new hope. Then again the point of it is to play as an heavily op character..
@@khayree7929 To be fair, Vader was defeated at that point and was taken to a rebel base that seemingly kept him alive, since his breathing wasn't broken in that prison. He wasn't fine.
I think the Wii version does this duel better than the HD version. You progressively tear off Vader's armor as the fight goes, the environment is larger with no crammed areas you need to fight in and the music is more grand and epic. It just fits the final duel between Starkiller and Vader better. Regarding Palpatine, I'd say his boss fight is equally good on both versions. See despite that TFU is my favorite Star Wars game, my biggest issue is that both versions have something the other lacks. While HD does have better voice acting, bigger levels and shows Starkiller's growth more naturally, the Wii version has content like partially better atmosphere and creative force powers.
His cybernetic arm is where it is halfway on this one but the 360 ps3 the arm goes up more and the cybernetic leg looks a little different in this version and xbox 360 version
The voice director and editor for this port was very cheesy. It's crazy how there was like 6 different versions of this game made. Ps2. It's own game u cant level skip in it lol.
