Social media is a scam! I think we need to realize that people only put their best foot forward. Even the people that we compare ourselves with also have struggles that we don’t know about. Knowing what success means to you is also key!! Well done Ify baby ❤️
Very true, a very sensitive topic. I always caution myself about this jealousy and comparison thing. I’ve limited myself on social media for about a year now and even when I come across any thing that wants to mess with my peace of mind, I just tell God to let his will be done in my life and you see that praying for those you might be envious of is something I do. Basically when ever I just feel any slight jealousy, I begin to consciously pray for the person. These things actually work. These days I don’t even have strength to be jealous, I just believe that what’s mine will be mine by the grace of God.
This song “gratitude by Victoria Orenze” came to my mind immediately you spoke about gratitude. “My gratitude will not cease, your praise is on my lips”.
