Sorry but Act chapter 2, the other tongues that were spoken according to verse 5-12, all the other men could each hear it as their own language. They only just seem confused how each could hear the message in their various languages, not as if no body could understand them. Please correct me if I am wrong.
I yearn to speak in tongues but I haven't been able or felt it.

You need faith to speak in tongues hun. You don’t need to be scared.
