These have been very popular items at craft fairs for me. I added an inside slip pocket with a section for a crochet hook and a double yarn guide that can be opened with snaps. Also put a d ring in the seam to hold stitch markers. Thank you for helping me get my craft business going. This is an excellent tutorial that I like to view over again.❤
Love this!! Such a detailed tutorial, which came in handy several times when I needed to rewatch some parts. I made a project bag for my knitting. Next up: bags for my travel painting and drawing sets :)
Thanks so much I love this bag ! I have made 6 over the last two weeks for my knitting projects. I made one larger 20 x 20 inches for a bigger knitting project and it worked out great ! Thanks again 🙂
Thank you sooo much for this wonderful video and for having it free :) I just finished my first bag ever and my first sewing project in over 20 years. I made my mom the most adorable bag and even managed to add a little pocket inside, thank you again 💕 I’m off to make my second one now :)
Thank you so much for this!! I'm a beginner who received a written instruction for this bag by a friend but I got stuck and couldn't have been more relieved to find a simpler form of the same bag in this video! And from watching several sewing tutorials I think your style is just so clear and comprehensible!! ❤ I will surely be making more of your projects, I thank you!❤
.Thank you for the bag it was perfect to give to my daughter who has just started knitting, I gave it to her as a birthday present with knitting stuff.
I'm actually making one now from some vintage fabric leftovers. They were the material my curtains were made, from as a child, in 1950 and I thought it would be a lovely way to use the material. Cheers Jenny
Probably one of the best tutorials I have seen in awhile. Actually taught me a new trick too. When you were stitching the top fabric side seams and leaving the gap for the rope. You just stopped, moved the fabric forward and began again. I would stop, move forward start again. I knew there was a better and easier way. Thank you!!
Wow even though not a word was spoken that was such a wonderful tutorial - thank you so much. If I watch your video let's say a maybe a hundred times (or more) I might just get the hang of this "sewing thing" because I am pretty hopeless . Thank you once again, you are pretty amazing.
Very happy with the way my bag turned out. Wish I could show you. I used iron-on Pellon rather than stiffening and made fabric drawstrings. A very easy to follow tutorial. Cheers Jenny.
Thank you for this great tutorial. I am not very good in sewing, but i just made my first bag for my knitting. Put my laptop next to my sewing machine and just followed every step you showed. And i simply love it. So again, thank you so very much.
I love your tutorials. They are easy to understand. I am so excited to start sewing. My one request would be for you to include measurements in the description if the pieces because I have to screenshot them each time. Thanks so much for your hard work!
I made my first bag a 20" by 20" reversible bag with pockets for my sisters bday yestreday. For her crocheting and she loved it. Thank you I'm happy the way the it came out. 😃
Love your tutorial, very easy to follow, thank you very much. I already made two bags with your help, one the size you’ve made and one size bigger like a tote bag. Very pleased with the result. 😄🤗
I love, love this. Followed your video step by step and over and over again, even the mistake which I thought was funny, just human. Love the way it turned out. I thought it was going to be difficult, wanted to make this for ages. Fantastic, thanks for the free video tutorial 😀 👍🏽 Now off to make more.
Hi, I made one from denim and a pretty nautical pattern on top. I also embroidered a sail boat on the denim part and it turned out so cute! Thanks for the tutorial..
I just made this adorable project bag following your video, about a million times. I love it and mine turned out beautiful. Thank you so much for providing this how-to for the rest of us. Darlene

I have some batik fabric. I think the fabric will be very suitable for this project. thank you for sharing. cool tutorial. Can you tell me about name of the music, please? 😁
It's a very good tutorial, really thank you. I want to make one for my mom, for her training shoes, as Christmas Gift. However, I can't understand the measures in the pattern. Would you Mind write them again in the comments section? It would be really helpful. hope you respond, thank you
@Antonia Sanchez hola Antonia está en la caja de información. Yo lo hice con medidas parecidas.😄 Porque no entendí mucho las medidas en pulgadas parece que es
I made my first bag using your tutorial.. i didn't have a safety pin so just used a larger dull needle to pull the pull string through. Oh also didn't add the straps.
Very nice! Could this be altered to a backpack by lengthening the handles and attaching them to the bottom and up one side as straps? you are a talented seamstress. Thanks for sharing your projects and knowledge of sewing.
Sarah Stephens : 1/4" seam allowance, this project i used interfacing for craft and bag, not sure the weight but it's a bit stiff. thank you for watching!
Still love making these bags following your tutorial. Thank you so much for it. They always turn out amazing.

jenny wren : Congratulation! And thank you for sharing!
Great idea to make fabric drawstrings, how wide was your fabric
@@cee2615 you could also use bias tape (closed and topstitched on both sides)
Thank you ❤️
I added few pockets and now I have an organizer for knitting.
These are wonderful. I made five of them tonight for the ladies in my knitting group.
