In this case, that Denji and Aki's tournament has just started. The paneling makes this much clearer in the manga. Edit: 18:03 oh, and that line from Aki about the requiem is a direct reference to Hunter X Hunter.
Thought the “ghost town” feeling of no body being around the train or city afterwards made sense. Once they break into the train you can hear them order an evacuation procedure and I’m sure authority’s probably proceeded to clear the area considering there is a devil extermination operation going on a few blocks away. Just made sense to me in the context of what was going on

the "jojo pose" is likely based around the art of iaijutsu, the martial art of drawign a sword and defeating a foe in one slash, and is probably the method through which Samurai Swrd uses the Katana Devil's power.
An interesting thing I noticed in these reaction vids, not just you, but from others is how they come to the same guess that the door is hiding Pochita's true form. Now I'm not going to confirm nor deny that (since I read the manga) but it's just interesting how a lot of people come to the same conclusion, mostly because of shonen that came before Chainsaw Man. Also, about Snake Girl, it's the Snake Devil that killed her. If it was Makima, she would've showed signs of it like her previous demonstrations of her power.
Also so points of clarification if you want it. Ya the last scene with the dialogue about the mice is 100% teaser for manga readers.
