you dont have the driveshaft hooked up right? it could be just the sound of the transfer case just rolling without tension? i would say put the driveshaft on and see if that fixes it. i would say its a whirling noise not so much a whining noise.

Get Timken RS rubber seal wheel bearings. Higher rotation limit, rubber seals to expand and contract in the heat and bumps.

Did you put the countershaft speed sensor in without the spacer? Some units use them some do not.
How about something to do with drive shaft

Honda recommends you change oil every 3-5k miles 10k would be pushing it but you should be fine till it blows on you
