Good luck with the move! I moved across the US and now in Europe and trying to figure out how to fit all of my yarn in my apartment here, so this was SUPER helpful, thank you!
🍌 Hope your move goes well! Love seeing organisation vidoes, and for sure agree about clear, see-through containers. Though I myself dont follow that rule 🤣 I struggle to find the line between "I prefer to be able to see exactly what I have" and "If I can see everything I have, I will feel overwhelmed". So instead I have an IKEA bookshelf (I think its a slim Billy model) with most shelves filled with opaque boxes, but two shelves open with stacked yarn that I'm currently excited to be using. 🥰 Your basked would make a lovely WIP-storage! I have a drawer to tuck away all my WIPs in next to my working desk, but having a WIP out makes it so so much easier for me to remember to pick it up more often 😁
🍌 good luck with the move! I place all my safety eyes in a small vintage box with little, see-through boxes and a label and my current projects are kept in cotton grocery bags😂
I have a plastic tote that holds my full skeins of sock yarn (about a dozen maybe) and all my leftovers/scraps I keep in plastic bags. I like to keep yarn together that will become a project…I have a scrappy blanket planned and all the yarn is together waiting on me, my sweater quantities are in their own bags with the pattern. Nothing too fancy storage wise over here! 🍌
It seems like you've found a way to organize your yarns that works for you. 😊 Sorting by projects is smart, that way you don't accidentally use them for something else. Thank you for watching. 🤗❤
🍌 I mostly use low plastic boxes for storing my yarns, like the one you had under the storing unit. I have a cart from Ikea (Råskog) that I bought thinking it could be used for ongoing projects, but I ended up using it for books instead 😅. Good luck with the move! 😊

Moving is rough. Hope it goes smoothly.

I also used to have that same cart from IKEA, I kind of miss it. Maybe I need to invest in one for the new place. Thank you Frida! 🤗❤
