I mostly shot weddings and concerts, but never sports.... if I use a 1DX-i and a 70-200 2.8 for sports, do you recomend shooting with a 2x extender, or is it better to shoot clean lens and crop instead do you think?
I don’t have any experience with that camera or the 2x extender, but I will tell you that cropping images with that camera will be tough. With the low megapixels, you will lose image quality by cropping images
What? Yes. If you're a woman of 80lbs maybe. As far as the higher resolution, it affords the opportunity to shoot in DX mode and still get great resolution. This gives you greater reach when it is impossible to get closer to your subjects.
@@karlcutajar1314 I have to deliver my images quickly. I don't shoot RAW. It would only serve to slow down my workflow. If I was shooting landscapes, yes. But then I doubt I'd need 120fps or pre release capture.

I assume the glass plays a big part on the quality too, if glass was included in the review would there be some moving around on the top 5?

I would not recommend any TC save for the 1.4X TC and only under certain conditions. You always lose image quality with TCs.
It depends upon light and distance.
what about high speed objects like car without panning..which camera will work and for how much distance?
Forget the camera, it matters not one bit, it is all about glass.
What do you think about cannon R5 C ?
If you're primarily a video shooter, it's a great camera that's built to not overheat, and can still do everything that the R5 can.
The title should have been higher roller cameras over $5k. I would like to see lower budget sports cameras
Coming soon brooo!
You can found the Sony A9 on $1500 (used, but like new)
EM1X with the Nocticron
The title matches the topic perfectly. If you're a full time sports photographer, these were the best choices at the time the video was released.
It's obvious that you never shot sports with the A9III.
I think the Sony A7 RV can be in this
i think the A9 III is the best and not the A1, R3 and /9.
Z9 is too heavy to shoot sports... and with that big megapixels with huge file size for sport burst? Nooo

Rather than that, the 120fps is jpef not raw. The sony a9iii shoots 120fps raw
