Can we talk about Volpe being a playoff riser? Hes been a top contributor for this teams run! Love to see him having success in big moments

Peter, if you haven’t listened to the John Sterling call of Rizzo getting picked off, I highly recommend you take a listen. Hilarious.

It’s crazy to me that the Guardians were clearly the 2nd best team in the AL this year but the gap between them and the Yankees is so huge. The only team I see competing with the Yanks in the future is Texas or Baltimore if Soto resigns with NY. As a Guards fan I’m hoping the bats come alive at home and get to Schmidt, Gil, and Rodon then hope and pray you win one in NY.

@@Bhowell21 in other words Yankees have any easy pass to playoffs EVERY year because the AL has the EASIEST teams to CRUSH…meanwhile any NL team would give the Yanks a run for their money

As a Mets fan, I’m worried that Walker Buehler finally decides to mostly dump his four-seamer in favor of cutters and sinkers, and ground-balls his way to, like, two runs in five innings, while Severino gives up his customary two HRs. Also, where the hell is Tylor Megill? Is he in an undisclosed location? Are the Mets keeping him in an underground bunker? His only postseason appearance so far was his hiccup in Game 2 of the NLDS, but he was put in an unfamiliar situation, and he wasn’t even that bad, despite the outcome. I’d feel more comfortable with him starting Game 5 than Senga, that’s for sure. He had one of the best starts of his career against the Dodgers back in late May, he was really good after he was re-re-recalled in late August, and he’s one of the very few Mets who can go multiple innings and reliably miss bats. Free Tylor!

I'm with Peter. The yankees ain't playing great and were scoring on wild pitches and errors with Stanton, Soto and Gleyber providing some hits. Now that Judge is joining the party, you feel invincible
