Was watching some pbs bit about our senses and stumbled upon this diamond...and it took a moment for me to realize she was deaf because i wasnt really watching tv until i heard her singing. I litterally was in shock. Not only because she is deaf but that she is amazing evn b4 i figured it out ablut her being deaf. Now to her beauty. It only can add to something that is already perfect. In popular use "myth" means falsehood, but in the classical sense it means deep truth. Rollo May, a psychologist, in his book, "My Quest for Beauty," refers to Greek Myth and the story of the Trojan war as, in his view, a story about the myth of beauty, or about the deep meaning of beauty, symbolized by Helen of Troy (and how about the word Hellenism?). He argues that the Ancient Greeks were willing to die for beauty. And then personally, (as in the playlist,) beauty is at the core of my philosophy of rural culture. Here we refer to Iowa as "the beautiful land," which supposedly came from native American culture.
