Thank you so much for this video, I was able to see my grandmother's house, where I spent my first 15 years of life before I migrated to Florida 36 years ago, that was incredible, apart from her house where I lived, I enjoyed the entire journey from Chaguanas all the way to, Freeport, Couva and everything in between to Claxton Bay as I travelled that road for school for a couple years (UCB) and was blown away how much the place has changed and built up. I can't thank you enough, places and roads looked so different as I remembered it and the buildings. I remember open land where we had bazars and chair plane rides, Divali festivals and use to play cricket, has houses and buildings. This was indeed mesmerizing as I have never seen the place like I have in this video. Blessings to you for all the content you share on this channel.
Hello Dave and thank you very much for the view and the comment - I have pinned it so its always at the top! It was so inspiring! I'm happy that we were able to bring back so many fond memories and also to show how much the place has changed since you left. Demographics are always changing however, so in a few years the place may be changed from how it looks here in 2024! Thanks again - it's comments like these that bring so much joy to people that encourages us to bring more videos! All the best!😊💯👍
@@eyes-ears-easy You are doing an incredible job at it, I am so thankful for your time, effort and content. This one was indeed close to home. I am still blown away at how far I travelled for school from the age of 14 to 15. My uncle used to take us to Chaguanas so we can get a maxi going all the way and not just Couva and later on I ended up taking the bus. Needless to say that was a long way travelling solo. And yes you are right, the demographics are always changing. My little village of Chase Village have some huge buildings, even heading to Chaguanas along the way I saw the same. I remember school friend homes on the main road which I cannot even recognize. Thanks again #bless
@@Dave1854 Thank you very much again - really appreciate the compliment. & thanks for bring back the reality of how things were in Trinidad in the past! Those were the days as some ppl would say!
Thanks for the view & the comment. These videos are really a snapshot of the demographics of T&T at a certain point in history. This is the reason you see my videos time stamped and the present location noted. If we or someone else does a similar video in the future you will be able to get a visual of how the demographics have changed if it had indeed.
