"Rain-o-rama" was built back in the day by late Aldwyn Roberts (Lord Kitchener ("the road march king" calypsonian)) after a song he made about road march being rained out. From what they tell me the soca singer Patrice Roberts is a descendant of his.
Your description of the streets & communities, is very good. As an American I like a grey Modern , split level house. Keep up the great work, I appreciate you.
Hey JB! I love watching all your videos. It feels like I’m exploring unfamiliar territories of Trinidad with you. Unfortunately, I can’t make a donation, since I don’t have a credit/debit card, but I share your videos with my friends and family. I hope that helps. Keep up the long videos 🙂👏🏿❤️

I would watch the news... they are not exaggerating. My videos give a semblance of normalcy but there is nothing 'normal' about everyday living in Trinidad.
That’s the state of the world right now! I was just looking out the window of a high rise luxury hotel / apts. in downtown Philadelphia. And watching a handful of people walking through the park at night…And thinking to myself. Why do people put themselves in harms way. Because the city has become violent and very dangerous.
I love your video, but I did not see places like La Puerta Ave, and the boys industrial school etc. Just a question, but I love your video, am going to check out the rest of your videos. Keep up this wonderful hobby.
I got so excited when I discovered your video Lol 😂. My heart wanted to see my hometown. Some of the places look dilapidated and I’ll keep. But I don’t care how it looks, I love my home, and as best said by our Road March king, it’s in my DNA. You have made me sooo happy, you showed me my family house were my sister and my nephew still lives. I love my hometown my Country. I’m in la Puerta with you right now. I’m happy very happy. Thank you, I send this video to all my people from Diego Martin. I’m sure they will all love it.
