I found this fascinating and very informative. Easy to follow along since Thomas spoke in a very descriptive but simple manner to the uneducated (me). Thank you John.

We need to standardize software defined vehicle development. Suppliers and automakers need a standard SDK to work from like with phone apps. Every automakers doing their own thing won't work because they don't make all the parts.

Software defined vehicles are a two-edged sword - they can stifle innovation when some parts of the ecosystem can't keep up with the industry leaders.
CATL offers a powertrain and electronics and software package. Most OEMs take such a package from suppliers.

I don’t understand this at all. Maybe state the problem then tell how this solves that problem.

Boring----monotonous, tedious, lacking variation, unvaried and DULL! 👎👎
