    Thanks great video I am in the process of building one of these. Any idea what the max temp you might reach would be as it would be also useful as a cone 6+ gas kiln please?

      @@Cristina97 Hi Cristina-yes i did build a similar kiln. Using fibre blanket was fine for Raku temperatures but I think would struggle getting past about 1050C for me. it is important how you direct the hot air flow. Buying excess high temperature bricks is useful to stand the kiln on and put the hot lid onto. In the end I used bricks to support the kiln shelves rather than posts. I cut the barrel by hand saw as I don't like angle grinders (OK but took a long time!) Hope this helps.
