well yeah cause the lifters and camshaft were on their way out and you replaced them
*not sure if anyone told you this, but you should upgrade to a melling oil pump for more oil volume and avoid cold starts so the lifters and cam have time to get coated in oil

I've turned up the engine speed at idle. This has put up the oil pressure at idle. I was going to replace the oil pump, but I couldn't be bothered removing the oil sump. Thanks for the input, mate 👍

I forgot to say that I also run the Penrite HPR5 zinc 5W40 ten tenths oil now, too. Helps with an additional protective layer. 👍

@@gbcautoworks sick af, i just took the brute force way and got myself a melling pump since i dont wanna mess with computers, and for oil i just add some oil thickener (cost effective since im broke)

Any other supporting mods or changes need to be made or you can just get a stage 2 cam to eliminate that tick noise?

I went with a non-MDS camshaft. I've heard that the stage 1 or 2 cam can make the gas mileage increase, although the choppy sound is pretty cool 😎
You will need to change your lifters as they seize up and chew the camshaft. It means pulling the heads off to gain access.
