I’m actually glad that they took the time they needed to improve the game
Actually the game originally was going to be very short, they only delayed it and greatly increased thee amount of content when they got funding from Microsoft and decided they could actually go all in
And we got an amazing final product because of it! You can definitely tell that this was a passion project for MDHR.

You can really tell that the music got better and better as the game’s development progressed. The animation style and overall fluidity also looks a lot better as the trailers become more recent. Here’s to Cuphead’s success, and the hope that it stays that way for a long time!

It's really amazing how much the game has changed over the years of development don't you all agree
The amount of effort that's been put into this game justifies the wait for the DLC, AND, i imagine the price will be around £9.99, also a justified price for the dev's time adn the artist's time too. I'm really exited for this DLC!

Think this way, after a massive success they can actually hire people to work on the bosses animation and art, especially because all bosses are unique it will be hard to notice the difference.
Not really they have more people to help work on the game with them and that means less time is needed

I'm glad the game took so damn long to come out. It was definitely worth it. After beating it (three times), the only flaw I can think of is how short it becomes after a while.
Seeing the early drafts, the overworld looks shitty in comparison to the final thing, and some weapon designs look cheap. What we got was so much better.
