I recommend watching their dance practices bc all of them are such good dancers and their choreo is always so amazing, also they have really good b-sides, I recommend: polaroid love,go big or go home(it has dance practice)not for sale and upper side dreamin, their discography has no skips honestly!!

I’d also like to say that the Enhypen members themselves don’t want people to watch I-land, and they refer to it as a nightmare (if im not mistaken). But of course if you want to watch it, watch it, but just be prepared for some emotional trauma, I watched the first 4 episodes and I was already crying my eyes out because I felt so bad for them😅
Yeah they usually refer to it as something they wish to forget and move on from, a sort of dark time in their lives and it makes sense, that show was EVIL, so glad they’re doing amazing now though!

It seriously sounds so rough....the things these shows put the idols though is absolutely horrible. I understand why the members feel the way they do about watching the show. It's a double edge sword, you want to understand where they came from, and the struggles they went through but at the same its awful to watch.

@@BexaReacts yeah like I watched all of it and I know their story for it and everything but the way they were perceived on that show was god awful, especially Ni-ki they really made him out to be such a monster and it was appalling, I’m really happy with where Enhypen stands as a group now though, they’re incredibly close and incredibly successful and I hope they continue with it!
jungwon is actually the youngest leader in kpop history! he was chosen to be the leader at 16, and he was chosen by the members and the company. they were actually in between heeseung as well but hybe tends to not make the oldest the leader since they already have the pressure of taking care of the members younger than them (korean culture), so hence why you’ll see a lot of hybe leaders being young ! it’s sad that he had to be mature at a really young age but he really is an amazing leader. even tho he is the second youngest the older members still tend to show him respect and tend to help him out whenever he’s having a hard time.
as for sunghoon i believe he was approached by a bighit caster and told his parents that dancing would help improve his figure skating and expressions so he joined but then ended up wanting to become an idol when he saw his trainee friends dancing, singing, and rapping! he never fails to mention that he doesn’t regret becoming an idol which i’m happy about :,)

just a little wholesome comment: jake, heeseung, and jay tend to take care of the younger members a lot. obviously they all take care of each other but those three make sure that the maknae line is happy, well fed, and enjoying their teenage years/ childhood. jake tends to take niki out a lot so he can have fun and not be stressed out, he makes sure he enjoys his teenage years. jay is like the mother of the groups he cooks for them, takes them out, etc. he always makes sure that the maknae line is safe and aren’t doing things that are safe/ could get them hurt. heeseung is like both the mom and dad😭 he puts them in their place kinda? he tends to remind them of their manners, makes sure they’re not feeling stressed, sad, or worried.
They sound like such a family, it's been pretty amazing learning about them.
I respect Jungwon so much for taking such responsibility as such a young age!

Oh yeah, Jake has recently become friends with Chan and Felix! also, Heeseung is really close friends with Beomgyu (TXT) and I.N (Stray Kids) they call themselves 01z

@@BexaReacts I totally agree, fandom really just need to stop dwelling in the past and just move on already. Also to stop dragging groups down because of unnecessary hate. It literally gets on my nerve so much.

And actually, it was Heeseung who was picked, but due to the responsibilities he had as the oldest, he turned down the position, and it was Jungwon who became the leader

I-Land still holds a special place in my heart because we get to see how the boys started out and grow. I'll never get tired watching and rewatching the show. it's full of funny, wholesome and heartbreaking moments so beware if u wanna watch it 😅.

the one you liked with ni-ki danicng is their MAMA 2021 stage , it was iconic
how jungwon was chosen? it was over 40 days, through different personality tests, questionaires, discussions all of which were done between the members. which basically means enhypen chose their leader. and he is amazing in that role (for some behind the scenes on it see their EN-TER KEY abt it and near the end of ep4 season 1 of ENHYPEN&hi)
does jake know chan and felix? yes. i think they first met at kcon la last year, exchanged numbers and have become close since, texting buddies, singing compliments to each other, spending k-holidays together cause they arent able to go home (bcs of schedules and stuff)
does ni-ki know japanese and korean fluently? yes. during debut times, he did struggle a bit and was quiter bcs of that, but he improved his korean RLLY fast. he is basically fluent completely.
is heeseung still friends with txt? it was kinda awkward at first, bcs the whole senior-junior relationship plays a big role in korea, but heeseung (and both groups in general) get along great. some more, some less. and bcs same age ppl in korea dont have to be formal with each other, heeseung and beomgyu are besties.
sunghoon and figure skating? im pretty sure he started with ice hockey first, moved to figure skating bcs of a famous skater (but tried both bcs he was TOO introverted, he needed to open up a bit). he started balancing skating and idol trainee lives bcs he thought the idol dancing would help him with his expressions/movements or something while skating, but ended up falliing in love with being an idol. and here he is, thank god :)

You did indeed give me interesting information
You will notice this with a lot of 4th gen groups but alot of them don't have positions besides leader. Which I am grateful for because it doesn't limit the other members potential in different categories.
In my opinion a problem with groups that have roles is that they are limited to explore different sounds, genres, or styles, a main rapper could have a beautiful singing voice but never get to show it because they are the "main rapper" are limited to that role. It also makes the fans actually LOOK at all of the members instead of just defaulting to their positions, like in example dance practices and in vocals.

TXT x Enhypen Playground (1 and 2) is a must watch for fans of both groups! Enhypen are more reserved and shy compared to their more recent variety shows because iirc it was their first time doing a variety show while TXT are more 'themselves' i.e chaotic and hilarious, TXT try their best to make their juniors feel more comfortable and lighten up and they end up having a great time together.
That's really interesting! I'm excited to check it out!

Remember their age here is their Korean age. They are much younger if you based it to international age.
Jungwon became leader at 16 years old and he is the youngest person in 4th gen K-pop to become leader, because like I said he started being Enhypen's leader at 16 y/o while the others leaders in 4th gen did not at such young age.
