Beyond Your Doorstep I totally agree, it’s so much more relatable and gives us a better impression of the country so we know what to really expect when we have our adventures!
Wow. Your guys production quality is really great. We just finished the Ha Giang loop yesterday with a guided tour, and are now set to editing. Didn't think to talk to the camera as we were on the motorbike, figured there would be too much wind noise! Duh. Anyway, good work guys, we enjoyed watching your video.
You guys are so inspiring. Every place on earth has its ups and downs. In this case, the natural beauty overcomes the garbage floating around. Thanks for sharing this amazing adventure. I feel like a part of your journey. Keep it up! Hugs from Texas!
Great series, epic rides! Like your commentary and drone work. Well done. I've done some rugged riding in Indonesia on crazy r'oads.. but' those drops you're running by are insane!!
says beginner roads, sees first street; i am like well thats okay. 2 minutes in: yeah, some sweaty palms, knees are heavy... :D Drone Shots are amazing once again! :)
Not a huge fan of Tim's drinking buddies 🕷😅. But great job down the mountain, Fin! That looked terrifying for sure. And props to Tim for being so encouraging too while rocking that GoPro footage.
Fin at least your feet can touch the ground when you’re on the bike! I’d be so stuck hahah I’m not tall enough to reach the floor! Beautiful location 😍
Hi guys, thanks for your awesome videos ... been stuck to my computer watching many of the South East Asia videos!! Curious what your thoughts are on the the motorbikes/scooters available for rental in the area for the Ha Giang Loop. We plan as a couple to ride one motorbike on this loop in January. The braking system on the blade looks a little weak; what are your thoughts? Would you recommend a different bike for two people with light packing? Thanks Much
Hey we have the same kind of spiders in the South ,Arkansas and Mississippi we call them common Garden Spiders . By the I have enjoyed watching the 2of you go to all the places I would love to see . Thank you for showing me the world 😉
Guys, if you come back to Vietnam and when you wear the raincoat and ride the motorbike, you should sitting on the back part of the raincoat otherwise it is easy to be blocked on the wheel and it’s dangerous.
Thanks for the last note Tim. Solid Waste Management at a Municipal level is something we tend to take for granted when we live in parts of the world which have bins, garbage trucks and some landfill/incinerator model to take it to. Not all parts of the world have those municipal functions working. I know, I live in India, where it doesn't work in most cities, much less the rural countryside. But it can work. It takes committment AND resources from the WHOLE community to make it happen. Abject poverty, sometimes, comes in the way of marshalling those resources. It can be done though. We can be better stewards of our planet, even where our population densities are high and incomes low. It can be done.
Why are you doing this again? Because there were no caves! Ha ha - gorgeous scenery and super fun to watch! I liked your floating houseboat room, but yeah the garbage... ugh.
aha crazy that everyone drives on 1 street with no lines along with trucks. Could I do this without any motorbike experience? Would you recommend it? (i only have Canadian automatic car experience). I'd be too afraid to rent a bike in Hanoi. I would rather do it somewhere rural.
Awesome footage! Really nice to see daily routines as well, not just the selected scenery. We are starting our motorcycle adventure through Vietnam in couple weeks and we get good info from your videos! Thank you! Which drone are using? Do you have a permit to fly it?
Great video! Planning on doing this loop in September. You mentioned police checkpoints, did u encounter many? Was there any trouble ? And did u have the appropriate license? Trying to figure out how I’m going to do this 😅
Only just one. I think it was to rinse soil off the bike. Loads of other travelers on the road doing the same thing so don’t be nervous! (And almost no one has an appropriate license. I think you have to be a permanent resident to obtain one)
I come from Vietnam. Have you ever returned to your country? Unfortunately, did you come to Sapa without going to the top of Mount Phan Xi Pang? Are Vietnamese people friendly and hospitable? We like foreign friends like you very much. We hope you will have more time to come to Vietnam. Record beautiful scenes, and hospitable Vietnamese. I live in the mountainous province of Yen Bai. Hope you guys will come here once. Wish you good health to go to great places. Thank you so much!
Great video guys and Tim I know what you're talkin about about the garbage it's a shame but it's a different culture you have all these beautiful vistas then when you look behind-the-scenes up close and you see garbage what a shame
Garbage in bins is a great idea if there is a infrastructure to empty the bins somewhere that disposes of the garbage via fire, burying it, etc. Oftentimes there is no structure set up to handle the amount of garbage/plastic that we humans produce. That takes money, training, people, equipment etc that just does not exist in many countries.
doug, my uncle made a career with a large American company doing just that. He set up collection and disposal systems for emerging nations. It was a great business.
Really loving this Rugged series guys. Captures the beauty of travel, but isn't afraid to show how rough it can be ❤️ Really raw and lovely 🙌

Wow...all that scenery 😍
That bridge crossing was insane!!! I ride too but would have walked across like Fin.
I felt like it would slip out right from under me!!
I have never been to Ha Giang but after this video I think I will come there at least once
Hi! Planning to take this exact route next year February. May I know whats the name of the ecolodge? Thanks!!
More 20+ min episodes pls :D. The vids are great.
The length you mean? Glad you like!
Lmao, y’all so funny. Just don’t over the clip. It’s going to be a bad day. 👍

khu resort lấn chiếm lòng hồ nhiều quá.

Miss that road.

This is the mavic air and not flying commercially
Let’s reduce the packaging that creates the waste. It’s a big problem in VN for sure, good of you to mention it.
A good message. I am sad seeing the garbage.
Great trip guys. What was the name of the ecolodge you stayed at?
Loving your badass content.
👊🤘

TIM and FIN thanks for the reply!
You should have international driving license. It's accepted in Vietnam

Tim, Fin & Bins
Pancho is always the right choice.
