Doing this in 2020, and yes, this helped me fix my no horn problem. Turns out it was really a ground problem, the horn gets so rusty where they mounted it. I'm putting one up where you did. Thanks for the help.
Thanks. This is great info. So I assume you found the power connection when you dropped the old horn out the bottom? It always struck me as so dumb where they put the horn. I have a 94. I can hear the click when I push horn, so I assume the switch is working properly. I am a bit confused why there’s no relay for the horn that I can find, though. I did find the fuse, and it’s intact.
