High Masters Hanzo main here. I have kind of found a way to make this hero work, even with my original play-style as a short flanker with no pocket (currently haven't lost a game yet). My main problem with this hero though, is while he's more consistent from fight to fight with the projectile changes, if your team is not playing properly, your own personal value drops off drastically, even if you're hitting all your shots, due to his limitations. Basically it feels like he has very little to no solo clutch potential. Being able to clutch a point in a 1v4 or 2v4 is basically impossible unless your other teammate is a Mercy. True, that didn't happen all that often, but it was POSSIBLE. The projectile size changes are currently like staples barely holding the hero together. If his is one of the projectiles getting reduced in size, the hero is potentially dead. What I liked about playing him before, while difficult, you could hard carry a game if you were good enough.
I'm a GM2 peak Hanzo OTP and had more or less the same playstyle. You're on point with the loss of clutch potential. I chained 4 headshots together the other day and no one died. No picks on the supports + all of my team shooting at the tank in their face = my team getting their faces stomped in.
@@The_Tachmonite Im in pretty much the same boat. The fact that other DPS characters have all gotten buffs while they took away Hanzos ability to one shot makes the game just not fun for me any more. the clutch aspect of the game is what makes it truly fun(imo), and now it seems they want to get rid of that potential. the game was already becoming less and less fun, now its hold mouse 1 simulator.
@@yeemyreamy5895 what made Hanzo fun was reaching for the impossible. You knew that there was always a chance that you could pop off and win. The highs with him were higher than with any other character.
They took the one shot potential out of Hanzo and Junkrat. Although its frustrating for other players to die from burst damage these hero's now rely on spam damage and less on mechanical skill making them less fun to play.
And less fun to play against. If I'm out played by a good Hanzo or widow, I'm impressed and respect the player and will often watch the replay to see if there's anything I can learn. Now it just feels like luck, they saw me before I saw them and they shot in my general area. Junkrat was already not fun to play against due to the CC of his kit. Now he does more damage. Just make his body hit box smaller so he's not as easy to spam vs making him more annoying to deal with because you're flying in the air and taking mass amounts of damage. Same with Hanzo, instead of buffing his projectile size and removing the one-shot, nerf his projectile size and make it take more skill to hit headshots so there's less spamzo in the game
My opinion is: POTATO AND BACON BAKE RECEPIE Potatoes: Any kind of potato will work in this recipe. For best performance I prefer a roasting or mashing variety. Cheese: Use your favorite cheese including Colby, Tasty or Edam. Bacon: I often go for streaky bacon in this recipe. But any other type including middle bacon or bacon bits would work well. Preheat the oven to 190°C fan bake. Fry the bacon over a gentle heat until crispy and brown. Set aside. Thinly slice the potatoes with a sharp knife or mandolin. Mix the cream, milk and garlic together with lots of salt and pepper. Place a third of the potatoes in the base of a large ovenproof dish. Sprinkle a third of the cheese and bacon over the potatoes, then pour over a third of the creamy mix. Repeat until you have three layers. Bake for 70-80 minutes until the potatoes are cooked and the top is golden. RECIPE FAQS: Could this dish be made ahead of time? Yes! You could either make the whole dish, then cover it in tin foil and reheat in the oven later. Or you could assemble the dish earlier in the day and refrigerate it before cooking it later. Is this dish gluten free? Is sure is! The sauce is thickened by cream instead of flour.
Hanzo is the only reason I ever picked up overwatch back in 2016 and he’s the reason I still play to this day. Few characters can truly dominate as much as a good Hanzo, along with some luck. The amazing thing about Hanzo was there was always a shot. Last team fight your whole team is dead but you just got a headshot and now it’s a 1 v 2 for the win. You get another and stall out for some help or you just get both the dudes with some crazy clip. They didn’t take too much and gave a lot back but the feeling of the gameplay is something that cannot be returned. Overall not too upset could be good for the game. Love you Hanzo.
They removed one shot from a travel time time projectile hero, with whom you had to to aim, AND predict, AND account for bullet drop and travel time, instead of from the hitscan point and click character widowmaker. Previously, if you relied on luck and spam, you were always more of a hindrance to your team because you could do better with any other hero. Now, that’s supposed to be your main play style. The devs were bullied into this change by horrible players who were punished by hanzo for their godawful movement and positioning.
Hanzo was the character that rewarded skill and patience when hitting your shots. The new character feels more like junkrat than the Hanzo i've spent years playing.
Not even Junk rat, Junk rat was a master flanker, now he can't flank without using his all kit and be left naked in the enemy back lane. He was completely destroyed too. No he just spams just like hanzo or even worst
bro hanzo and junkrat my two and only 2 dps mains got nerfed into the fucking ground, i would honestly trade the extra 50 hp for an additional 5 damage so his bow can 1 shot again@@EsotericPain

Widow shoots hanzo arrows, genji shurikens are the size of small children, soldier can hold left click in the general direction of "red" and hit 2/3rds of his clip. This update was the "too much of our playerbase SUCKS at aiming" update.
@@fatgeekOW yeah soldier is disgusting on this patch tbh. I can just stay back and melt literally every single hero even orisa cause dps passive is strong against even her.
@@ashonline77 Bastion non-turret is shooting fucking laser beams too... I was beaming a widow across the map the other day.. Devs might have overcooked a bit on the changes.
Definitely feel like the new Hanzo changes impact your play style which in turn changes the style or flow of your videos. Doesn’t mean change is bad, excited to see what you come up with next!
let's be honest, that would be overkill. I feel like if he was able to one shot most squishes (250 HP) with their larger health pools, his arrows hitbox would have to stay the same. Widow still oneshots, and she's a hitscan with a bigger hitbox. I don't know what they were smoking, but she's basically just a better assassin hanzo.
@@ricardothepilot6198and I would do just fine with the same hitboxes. I've been hitting people for 7.5 years now. It's not like that would've gone away. But if everyone including Widow gets a hitbox increase? What's good for the goose is good for the gander.
@@The_Tachmonite facts. Since oneshots bypass the whole "making team fights longer" sort of deal, I would pitch the same hitboxes. One good thing about the hitbox increase is that Flyers + Mercy are a lot easier to hit now.
Im like, the Australian Arrge, and yeah, I very much dislike the Hanzo changes too. Without leaning right into the spamzo people are forced into doing, I am still trying to play likek its a 1 shot. Its' so hard to unlearn all I have learned from one shot hanzo era
@@j0shsux579If you wanted to be consistent, and actually good, no. He wasnt. His projectile was smaller than genji's shurikens, now, he can spam even more and not rely on as much aim as before
my dude you are crying too much, just get a pocket and everything is back again, now hanzo has to rely on confirming kills rather than take random picks
@@labizzzzze they're talking about how it's easier and more unsatisfying to play both characters. Why try hard when your bullet hits air and gets you a headshot?
@@whoahanant i agree, ive spent over 1000+ h on widow just to feel that satisfying sound of a headshot but now thanks to the changes it feels like all that skill was wasted
@@Cosmos565 Well that logic does not really add up? Sure everyone hits more shots now, but if ur an amazing widow you are going to hit EVEN MORE shots than the normal player. The average hit-rate% went up for everyone but that also means the cracked widows will barely miss.
I genuinely don't know how anyone can defend the changes, regardless of their mains. The only reason I could see someone liking the new hitboxes/projectile sizes is if they have the worst aim ever.
Its so frustrating and unsatisfied to headshot someone with Hanzo and dont get the kill, i dont understand what Blizzard was smoking that time. Imagine being a smiper who cannot 1 shot any hero becides a few exceptions
You made me fall in love with the character, predicting where the enemy will be for the perfect head shots is the hanzo hero fantasy. They ruined him. Made him exactly the version that people hated. All the skill expression of the character is gone. It feels lucky and random even more since even hanzo doesn’t know if his shot will kill. Much better to play hitscan instead.
There's some plus sides, like Hanzo can survive solo flanking the enemies (healing passive) and he can also play in the frontline (extended HP) but lost its essence of "Assassin Hanzo" as one-shot kill no longer exists, also the weight of storm arrows are too high (damage increased and cool down decreased) leading to more spamming than precise plays.
The healing passive hasn't really increased survivability for flanking. The best thing for Hanzo's survivability on flanks was first shot accuracy on a one-shot. If you hit your first shot, no one looks to see why their teammate died. If you miss, the target (we'll say Ana) looks to see where the arrow came from, then everyone looks to see where the Ana is looking, and then everyone is on top of you like mold on old jam. Well now people are always gonna look after the first shot no matter what, tanking your survivability like nobody's business. And in my experience, if someone is chasing you down they don't give you a nice little respite where the 20hp per second is gonna save you.
Even when you're forced to adopt a more dynamic and upfront approach with hanzo, man your skill shines through no matter what. Even though you're in the frontlines more rather than assassinating unaware targets you're still having so much impact it's really nice to see.
I actually don't feel good about those either. For the first hour you're like wow, but then it doesn't feel good. Gets dissatisfying, like you're not in control.
Even since overwatch one the whole point was a sniper who takes off angles, and now 1 shots gone, thats like taking doomfists punch away, or tracers blink, it completely changes how u play the hero
I haven't played this game in a minute, but always enjoy your gameplays. It's wild to me that they removed hanzo's main utility with 1 shots for most of the characters, and made Widow so much easier with almost no downsides. Widow has always seemed like the more problematic "1 shot" character in the gameplay as a noob, and it seems like the same is true in higher ranks looking at pick rates in competitive, and pro matches. Hopefully this shakes out sooner rather than later so Hanzo gets his identity back.
I played Hanzo for all of OW1 and now I feel like he's just another "tank buster". My first game in season 9, I got 7 headshots, almost back to back, and didn't secure a single kill. I immediately switched to hitscan characters so I can actually kill something while having fun
Not really seen much of new hanzo but idk I feel like overwatch should make him more mobile to hit shots from sneaky places rather than staying back and being a glamorized Sentry Gun
I feel the exact same way with junk rat taking out his one shot combo completely destroyed the character, no more rollouts and hit, scanned his giga buffed
This really shows how the "mercy pocket range" should never, ever be in the game. Something should either one shot, or two shot even with a Mercy, as the in between is just the worst of both world. It's still basically as frustrating as a one shot from the receiving end since, yn, dying after losing 10hp doesn't exactly feels fair, and it's frustrating for the DPS since they can no longer chain kills effectively. I used to be in the "make hanzo not one shot" camp, but this can't be pulled off without a significant rework and this is clearly not it. This change just makes the game worst for everyone.
With the changes made Hanzo wound up getting a 50% increase in his shot hit box, but pretty much lost access to an entire style of play. I think it would be preferable to most players if instead they made his arrow hit box 1.2, or even 1.1 instead of 1.5, buffed his damage by five for a total of 125, and dropped his HP to 225. With these numbers he's still competitive with other DPS in terms of accuracy, but still would require aim to land shots. He could two shot with body shots, but with a universal healing passive any average hp target could just go to cover after a single body shot and wait five seconds to start healing up. He would be able to one shot most heroes again on a head shot, but would be more susceptible to damage trades himself. Realistically without the one shot there isn't a lot of reason to play Hanzo when I could just grab solder or sojourn and constantly apply the 20% healing de-buff and have high burst damage cool downs to supplement the steady damage overtime that is incredibly easy to land now.
I mean, drop his damage to 100 and then just increase the headshot value to 2.5x. That way he 1-shots a 250hp char while taking 3 body shots making headshots feel good again. Would take 3 body shots (for 200+ hp chars) still meaning no impact on that side.
@@MrBrock314 You know, on the one hand I would argue that that would then make him less usefull with a mercy pocket, which does feel kind of good now with the change to storm arrow and the universal HP buffs, but I have to hard agree with the crit change and lowering base damage simply because it works with their goal of trying to mitigate the high impact of said burst damage. And frankly, with your numbers Hanzo isn't just a tank buster like he his now. So yeah, good call. And I'd still take the nerf to HP and projectile size for it, because honestly it feels more rewarding to hit shots with his old hit box. Also, I keep fucking up peaking corners because my arrow is half again as big as it used to be, and I've sonic arrowed my own location like...at least five or six times now....
The hitboxes are honestly a joke, dude. It's not like you didn't have a hard enough time avoiding Hanzo headshots. I enjoyed Hanzo/Tracer duels a lot. It feels like Tracer has the short end of the stick now.
17:09 ahh yes my favorite metastrat. the "patient, ranged archer turns into manic, in your face gunner" strategy. subvert expectations and catch em off guard!
you inspired me to become a hanzo main some time ago, and i loved the shit out of the previous playstyle....... AND IM LOVIN THE NEW STYLE TOO. been absolutely eating the last few days, HUGE damage numbers, always leading elims, destroying lobbies and infuriating enemies with ABSURD burst damage which is literally on a faster cooldown I LOVE IT ITS TIME FOR HANZO MAINS TO EAT TF UP, ENJOY IT FOLKS!!!
These changes dumb down the hero, and take away player agency. Everyone remember when Hanzo mains were the most hated players ever? It's bc they all played like this, how we're all being FORCED to play now. Before s9, the sneaky/assassin playstyle had emerged. That's much more rewarding of positioning and gamesense, and it fits SO much better with Hanzo's character identity. Granted, you could still spam at choke points. But it was much less reliable, so you were encouraged to actually think about what you were doing and go for unaware targets instead. A smaller arrow hitbox, and the ability to still one-shot headshot, is what Hanzo needs and deserves.
I basically played ow bc of Hanzo, I just really love bows in Videogames, any videogame, in fps games, the best bow Ive ever played with was Hanzo’s, the fact that now it doesnt one shot-headshot enemies anymore makes it so boring to play without friends (I dont have any, Im a Hanzo player). I unironically uninstalled ow just when S9 came out, only coming back to ow if they fix their game (Impossible). Love you Arrge, will still watching u tho
fr. But then people would complain that his arrow hitbox is insane because the guy playing hanzo against them can actually land their shots, and the person dying has terrible positioning.
The old Arrge videos where he just killed shit and shared his adventures in ranked, death match, etc and he didn’t have the need to explain himself was very nostalgic for me and inspired me to learn Hanzo.
Hanzo used to be a precision machine with a very high skill ceiling. His high difficulty and high damage are supposed to average out, but a skillful player could overcome the difficulty for a big impact. Unfortunately, the larger hurtbox lowers difficulty, thus lowering the skill ceiling, while the HP buffs mean he's less impactful than before. It is nice that team fights are longer.
I think the key Part of hanzo rn is his storm arrows. Before the update there was No real need to use the storm arrows, since you mostly wanted the 1 Shot kill Arrow. I think the assassin Playstyle is still playable, but instead of the 1 Shot Arrow, you Go for a Double Headshot with the stormarrow, which could lead in theorie to a Triple kill. I think we need to learn how to use the stormarrows for a 1 Trick, instead of our old Habit to prefer the normal Shot.
as a hanzo main, thanks to you. I love the new season but no hanzo oneshot headshot anymore hurts. Shooting a healer headshot and not killing him doesn't feel good. Hopefully its gonna return soon. All we can do is pray🙏
To an extent i sorta see what they were trying to do by making hanzo not 1 shot anymore. Like being 1 shot by a near silent hero can be a bit annoying, with widow at least you usually know she's there. But this current state is not fun. Maybe a good solution would be giving hanzo some sort of additional benefit to headshots? Like what if when he headshots someone with normal arrow and it almost kills them he gets temporary wallhacks on that player and a storm arrow refresh, encouraging quick 1-2 combos. This would help with people ducking behind cover after headshot and put more emphasis on "simple geometry"
As a tracer main, hanzo is now literally just a horror movie villain levels terrifying. He can just stand there, menacingly, among his backline and I'm screwed.
i think they could make Hanzo's arrows smaller and make his headshot do 250 damage. if the devs think the 1shot is unfair because of distance they could give the arrows the same falloff range as Widow. i know they can give the arrows a falloff range because they've done it before with Orisa
new Hanzo is anything else than a deadly assasin.. He's just a support dps now who builds space. Even Zen is deadlier.. AND dont get me starting about widow still beinf able to 1 shot ppl. PS. the fact that genji, sombra, tracer and Pharah got also a hp boost is outrageous
Every headshot frustrates as or even more than anything in my life. So, thank you overwatch for being the 31st thing that provokes me. We or at least I played and kept playing Hanzo because of the satisfying gameplay, and the thoughtful planning that was needed.
Despite how great the competitive changes are this season, I'm hating playing ranked. I recently shifted to maining hanzo, and now he gets huge changes that fundamentally change his playstyle. You make great points about the tone deaf and arguably hypocritical game changes; encouraging spam and pocketing, while buffing widow to be the sole oneshot character. I hope the future for hanzo is bright, but I'm already thinking of switching.
Honestly it's kinda pissing me off seeing how much more health people have; I mean yeah I get to stay alive longer, but as a Hanzo player Imma really need that 250dmg headshot back rn (I think I speak for everyone).
I know you didn't have fun but the content is still great. Some of those shots were absolutely nuts. Keep it up arrge hopefully you find a way to have fun
I feel so bad that it changes characters so much. Junkrat as well, never one to feel bad for a junkrat player but watching vulture struggle just makes me feel like they went too far.
Probably 90% of my playtime prior to season 9 was as hanzo, now I mainly play tank and healer. I think he is still very strong but it doesn't matter if he's not as fun/too easy to hit shots.
I’m fine with them reducing Hanzo’s projectile size back to normal, as long as we get our one shot sniping damage back, or if they speed up the bow’s draw back time. Most DPS just have to hold down prime fire and move their mouse a little. Snipers have to wait for a full charge, aim, and shoot, wait, aim and shoot. Plus with Hanzo we have to predict where you’re going, we can’t just follow your movement with our left click pressed down like 76, Bastion, Sojourn, Symmetra, Reaper, Echo, Sombra, Mei and Tracer.
Widow has a machine gun, a sniper, and a debuff trap as well as a grapple hook and wall hack ult. Hanzo has storm shot, wall climb, and radar arrow that bugs out and doesn't work sometimes, and a slow ass dragon ult that people can just walk out of now. Like if they'd give him like a explosive arrow or like a healing arrow like soldiers little healing packet that'd at least make flanking with him possible and limit him from having to have a mercy pocket.
Read recently that they’re planning to adjust some of the changes they made at the start of S9, hopefully that includes certain hitboxes (Hanzo for one, but as a support player I have to say Kiri and Zen feel kinda ridiculous) and some hitscan characters like 76 or Widow
Yah, they should have kept hanzos projectile size the same and kept his one shot ability (so boost damage of fully loaded arrow with current larger health pools), reduced his storm arrows to 3 arrows, same fire speed, duration 3 seconds, with 5 second cooldown. Keep the heal passive. This would have made Hanzo his true expression: a sneaky assassin. The heal passive gives him i dependence since he would heal himself as he repositions. The smaller projectile size would ensure that not everyone could just pick hanzo and win. The smaller storm batch (3 vs 5) would reduce the ‘spamzo’ feel when a Hanzo misses his first shot and then pops storm and now has 5 retries in just over a second. The shorter cooldown would make storm arrows to be more useful to finish off opponents since they would be up more often. But you still need high skill because the projectile size would be smaller (than now) and you would only have 3 arrows.
i absolutely HATE the hanzo changes, they literally turned him into spamzo when trying to fix him. Bring back 1 shot and shrink the hitbox to even smaller than it originally was. Just buff his dmg by 5 so he can 1 shot 250 health targets on headshot.
As a widow main and primarily hitscan player, hitscan bullet sizes did not need an increase and should be decreased to its previous state. To compensate that projectiles should be decreased by .05 For example, instead of kiriko being .25 (her current projectile) it would now be .2 and so on. If they decide to keep the increased sizes those increases should be hero specific mostly catered towards projectile characters since no hitscan needed these changes.
Hanzo losing his 1- hit kill headshot on most squishy champs, unaided, doesn't make sense to me. And I'm a support player. Blizz must truly have no idea how to work him out with the rest of the game. It's a testament to your ability that you can still kick butt on Hanzo tho, no matter the jank. Your skills are a sight to behold. Love your stuff man, keep having fun and doing your thing no matter the stream snipers and haters.
Thoughts on some sort of bleed mechanic for headshots? Maybe headshot does the damage it does now plus 50 damage over like 5 seconds so theres a small window to start healing before dying?
50 would be two much that would be possibly 270dmg. I was thinking more subtle like 10-20dmg over 2secs for headshots. They die if no heals so kinda still a shot but with fair counter play.
@@michaelenglish2322 I see what youre saying, but I would still disagree. I would argue that 1-2 seconds would be too fast, and 50 isn't a hard set number for my example, however it would still kill the people it killed pre season 9 minus someone like cass who had 225 and would die. I think giving that slightly longer window would make it less frustrating to play against and still be satisfying the assassin style that Hanzo is good for. I feel that it would remove the 2 dimensional play style Hanzo is stuck with rn.
Good point. I still think people would cry about 50 dmg over 5 secs even though that's definitely a fair time to counter dot effect. Of course 50dmg or the dmg over time could be adjusted like you said. If hit boxes and his logs get toned down too much next patch he will need something. The storm arrow buff is nice!
I'm just a gold player but I play with my IRL friends and Hanzo was always my favourite because it was fun. Nothing feels better then hitting a headshot to get a kill. Now he just feels super boring and none of us are playing this season. It's crazy how one little change has affected us playing

No he just spams just like hanzo or even worst
bro hanzo and junkrat my two and only 2 dps mains got nerfed into the fucking ground, i would honestly trade the extra 50 hp for an additional 5 damage so his bow can 1 shot again@@EsotericPain
i think junk and hanzi are both trash now. i mean i don't really spam as junket but not i have to hit so many more shots to kill people. it sucks
Hanzo being like this and widow dominating is exactly thr opposite of what we wanted. at least the comp changes are hood tho
I just think is ironic that people asked (i mean cried) for changes and when they get what theu wanted people still complained, for good or for bad the OW cant never win with a b*tchy fanbase like this
Widow shoots hanzo arrows, genji shurikens are the size of small children, soldier can hold left click in the general direction of "red" and hit 2/3rds of his clip. This update was the "too much of our playerbase SUCKS at aiming" update.
its almost as if removing a tank and speeding up game has consequences
@geert574 they need to focus on tank stuff and not add a dps passive, maybe we'd have something close to balanced.
I used to feel kinda proud of myself for being able to hit shots with Hanzo. But now I feel like it's a dirty move to pick Hanzo.
I would say the same but tbh hitscan is just as bad. I'm annihilating people on soldier even more so this season because I just can't miss lmao
@@fatgeekOW yeah soldier is disgusting on this patch tbh. I can just stay back and melt literally every single hero even orisa cause dps passive is strong against even her.

Definitely feel like the new Hanzo changes impact your play style which in turn changes the style or flow of your videos. Doesn’t mean change is bad, excited to see what you come up with next!
Hanzo not having a one shot anymore just destroys the fun of his his arrows having a bigger hitbox
let's be honest, that would be overkill.

"It turned Hanzo into the stereotype that everyone always forced on the character" this sums it up:(
There's some plus sides, like Hanzo can survive solo flanking the enemies (healing passive) and he can also play in the frontline (extended HP) but lost its essence of "Assassin Hanzo" as one-shot kill no longer exists, also the weight of storm arrows are too high (damage increased and cool down decreased) leading to more spamming than precise plays.
I entirely disagree. Now you can be very aggressive hanzo in front line. Storm arrows is extremely good. Makes him probably best dps in comp rn
Even when you're forced to adopt a more dynamic and upfront approach with hanzo, man your skill shines through no matter what. Even though you're in the frontlines more rather than assassinating unaware targets you're still having so much impact it's really nice to see.
The projectile size and storm arrow feel great, but the fact that you can't one shot a Kiriko with a fully charged arrow headshot is absurd. lmao

Hanzo in my opinion was always a solo playmaker, but now he feels like he needs to play alot around his team.
Even since overwatch one the whole point was a sniper who takes off angles, and now 1 shots gone, thats like taking doomfists punch away, or tracers blink, it completely changes how u play the hero
They wrecked pharah's niche too. Just echo now.
Blizzard: Hanzo can't 1 shot anymore! Also Blizzard: Forgets about mercy... again

They completely took out the reason i play hanzo
It's funny how much the way you describe how gameplay feels now is how everyone described 6v6 gameplay..
OW2 is a game of nerf darts, bouncey castles, inflatible helmets, and Hanzo/Widow headshots.
Accurate
Formerly of Hanzo headshots. Now a Hanzo headshot is a light massage.
@@MrBrock314 it's an opportunity for the supports to go, "Oh no, did that hurt? I'm so sowwy! UwU"
As a Tracer player, I am really loving the new Kiri, Handsoap, Widow, Echo, Torb, Genji..... I have learned so many new ways back from spawn.
The hitboxes are honestly a joke, dude. It's not like you didn't have a hard enough time avoiding Hanzo headshots. I enjoyed Hanzo/Tracer duels a lot. It feels like Tracer has the short end of the stick now.

I haven't watch too many of your recent videos but I enjoy the commentary notes you give over the gameplay
Nerf the projectile size by like ½ and up the damage back to 250 for headshots
fr. But then people would complain that his arrow hitbox is insane because the guy playing hanzo against them can actually land their shots, and the person dying has terrible positioning.
@aprophetofrng9821 frfr. I put in time to learn how to aim and hit heads for consistent picks. Now it's all useless
I think they should just make him an assassin with 200 or 175 hp and do between 300 and 250 dmg
Mained hanzo a week ago to one shot, and now I can't.....
love your videos btw 😁
I think the key Part of hanzo rn is his storm arrows. Before the update there was No real need to use the storm arrows, since you mostly wanted the 1 Shot kill Arrow. I think the assassin Playstyle is still playable, but instead of the 1 Shot Arrow, you Go for a Double Headshot with the stormarrow, which could lead in theorie to a Triple kill. I think we need to learn how to use the stormarrows for a 1 Trick, instead of our old Habit to prefer the normal Shot.
That’s so boring
as a hanzo main, thanks to you.

Every headshot frustrates as or even more than anything in my life. So, thank you overwatch for being the 31st thing that provokes me. We or at least I played and kept playing Hanzo because of the satisfying gameplay, and the thoughtful planning that was needed.
You should make a counter of how many headshots u get without getting the kill until they revert it
Despite how great the competitive changes are this season, I'm hating playing ranked. I recently shifted to maining hanzo, and now he gets huge changes that fundamentally change his playstyle. You make great points about the tone deaf and arguably hypocritical game changes; encouraging spam and pocketing, while buffing widow to be the sole oneshot character. I hope the future for hanzo is bright, but I'm already thinking of switching.
i was taking a shower until a storm arrow ripped through my shower curtain.

I would lower everyone’s health to 240 and nerf widow and hanzo projectile size to half of what it was changed by
I’m fine with them reducing Hanzo’s projectile size back to normal, as long as we get our one shot sniping damage back, or if they speed up the bow’s draw back time.
I think this is the first season where im actually happy to have a hanzo on my team
We finally have the spamzo everyone has been talking about the whole game
i want hanzo to get a littol buff, just like he can one shot a 250hp C
Widow has a machine gun, a sniper, and a debuff trap as well as a grapple hook and wall hack ult. Hanzo has storm shot, wall climb, and radar arrow that bugs out and doesn't work sometimes, and a slow ass dragon ult that people can just walk out of now. Like if they'd give him like a explosive arrow or like a healing arrow like soldiers little healing packet that'd at least make flanking with him possible and limit him from having to have a mercy pocket.
Either way he needs something if they're not going to give him back his headshots
At the beginning of the season I hated that they removed HK, but after destroying this giant hitbox I realized that Hanzo became even stronger.
Hanzo seems pretty cool
I like how he just strafes and kills things
But you still need high skill because the projectile size would be smaller (than now) and you would only have 3 arrows.
i came to this channel for the insane hanzo plays. i stayed for the "cleanus penus". i bet you could talk over a game of Pong and still make me laugh.
i absolutely HATE the hanzo changes, they literally turned him into spamzo when trying to fix him. Bring back 1 shot and shrink the hitbox to even smaller than it originally was. Just buff his dmg by 5 so he can 1 shot 250 health targets on headshot.
They made the world's most accurate hanzo more accurate
Bro the arrows aren’t logs anymore… they are goddamn sequoia trees
As a widow main and primarily hitscan player, hitscan bullet sizes did not need an increase and should be decreased to its previous state. To compensate that projectiles should be decreased by .05 For example, instead of kiriko being .25 (her current projectile) it would now be .2 and so on. If they decide to keep the increased sizes those increases should be hero specific mostly catered towards projectile characters since no hitscan needed these changes.
Well done, Arrge. Entertaining as usual.
Dude I use to cry hanzo shot logs , but now it’s so bad it almost encourages spamzo
I love the soldierification of the dps heroes. Hanzo is a snoozefest now
Hanzo losing his 1- hit kill headshot on most squishy champs, unaided, doesn't make sense to me.

I like watching Arrge playing spammy Hanzo like this, tbh.

One shot*
