  • Menopause increases the risk of heart diseases. A our estrogen levels drop, we lose our hormonal protection. Along with that other risk factors increase like weight gain, raised cholesterol and sugar levels, our blood pressure goes up, our sleep gets disturbed..All these further increases our risk of hear diseases. But with healthier lifestyle changes like eating a balanced diet, exercising, avoiding habits like smoking and alcohol, doing stress busting activities like meditation and going for regular health evaluations can help us reduce risk of heart diseases to a large extent.
