Synopsis
A poor unsuspecting, nice and naïve young man, who works in a dry fruit and raisin store, finds himself fired.
But when the nearby sea offers him incredible gifts, his perspective on life will change fiercely …

ABOUT THE VIDEO
While the trailer is simple and fast, the film was approximately two years in the making (2013-2014).
It's a photo-based musical fairytale.
The story is based on a popular fairytale commonly known as "The Wishing-Table, the Gold-Ass, and the Cudgel in the Sack" (the Brothers Grimm's version).

Raymond Aftimos is a Lebanese film school graduate from IESAV-USJ and works as a filmmaker, director, editor, writer, screenwriter and researcher.
Since 2012, and apart from his personal projects, he has been active in both theatre and filmmaking and has contributed, mainly as a freelancer, to several works, under the direction of creators such as Philippe Aractingi, Betty Taoutel, Lina Abyad, Émile Sleilaty, Carmen Labaki, Feyrouz Serhal, Carol Mansour and Muna Khalidi …
He is passionate about entertainment, performing arts and music, but also equally enjoys crafting archive, portrait and historical documentaries.
