The Euthanasia makes Eldians unable to make kids, so literally Zeke wants to destroy them, so the other side of the world can live peacefully. Eren wants to free them, so they can see the beauty of freedom as well as other people. Sadly the only sollution for that is to destroy everyone else...

Only reason I don't like the show is because it has a bit too much gore for my tastes. But this piece was enough to make me look up the entirety of the soundtrack. It's just that good. I've always held the opinion that even though I may not like a show, game, movie, etc., if the soundtrack is good, I'll give it a listen.
I'm sure that Annie will come back... they always talk about her during the show and I really hope she does... even if she was the main villain of season 1, I still like her... a poor child who was trained so young, suffered for all her entire life and found her own empathy with the people that she was living with, which were all her targets. He has to do it. His strive for Freedom ever since he was born, born into a world in which the very freedom he wanted is being held captive from him. An idea more important to him than even his country or friends, the very thought of deciding your own destiny/fate, a fate which is not set in stone. If the devs truly go with an AOE type ending and make eren unlock his freedom, this will be one of the best pieces of art written and formed of this century.

If the devs truly go with an AOE type ending and make eren unlock his freedom, this will be one of the best pieces of art written and formed of this century.

@@codafett it is,it's a masterpiece even,but something as dramatic and long as the rumbling requires a song like 0sk or Vogel Im kafig,which can maintain the intense part for a whole while unlike 2volt where it's mostly calm and emotional with the big dramatic parts lasting for 10 seconds

@@VirozaTheWitch 0sk has always been a background music and not use for big scale events,when I came across it on YT I actually thought it's a new leaked soundtrack or something,upon rewatching the only times it stand out to me was when Kenny slices Dimo's neck,when Eren sees the memories and the very recent episode 9,so I don't think it's overused at all,it's quite underrated actually
Also,as far as I know Vogel Im Kafig only played in season 1,it's arguable that it also played in season 2 in the form of YOUSEEBIGGIRL,but even then,it has vocals in the big part of it and has a different tone in the start so it's different enough as it is,sure they played it alot in season 1 but then we haven't heard it for a very long time
One thing both this OST has in common is that you don't need to play the big part,the build up to that part sounds chaotic,tragic,emotional and depends on the context,sounds sinister
It fits the rumbling like a glove,either of these two is a perfect choice and would elevate Eren's declaration from 10/10 to 1000/10
One thing I agree is that needs a new soundtrack,the scene is in the calibre of it's own,but then again,so does the Declaration of War as it's a major turning point for the series,but not only did they not made a new track for it,they also use their least popular ost
But I'll just wait and see untill then and hope that they deliver
