Yup, perfect timing to illustrate his point. I will say, I think there's a bigger idea that can be learned from skateparks and who uses them. It's why I advocate for public bike parks, there's a growing need for this kind of stuff but it often takes years of planning and town hall meetings. A lot of people just don't have that kind of patience as it can take over a decade and by that time many people have out grown the sport.
Nice video, I love the creativity about skateparks and I can see it translate to my mtb riding. Trails are closed here in St-Raymond since a couple of weeks. Snow is taking is time this year, love to stretch the bike season on my BMX and/or DJ in the local skatepark. Shoutout to the LB Cycle shirt and Hailey getting out her confort zone. Cheers✌
I agree, there's something about it that's more interesting. Obviously the view count doesn't always reflect this, but it keeps me entertained and it's good to mix things up.
Got on my bmx bike today for the first time in about a year. The transition from 27.5 to 20" made it seem like i was riding a 12" bike lol. After getting the feeling back, everything seemed so much easier on my bmx bike
I live in Vermont and grew up here my whole life. This is cool and stoked to watch none the less! I ride flatland BMX but loved the content and video man! Beautiful state to visit for sure. For BMX it’s far and few for a lot. Sending good vibes man ride on💪🏼
Spreading the water is good with the warmer weather (sunlight) ...as opposed to if is colder....could freeze up sooner. (At least it seems so). I do like the fact they have some woods there for shade as well....could also be for families that aren't ALL into the skatepark(bikepark) scene.
I really hate riding at pump tracks and skateparks that offer no shade especially in the summer. Its something that's seriously overlooked in the design process of a lot of parks.
Maybe it's just me, but although I love the videos I wish the fish eye lens effect was dialed back a bit. Can't watch all the way through without a headache.
The wider angle does take a bit to get acclimated to. I remember when I first started using the Superview lens on the GoPro, a lot of people made similar comments, but eventually people just got used to.
And exposure! There really aren't many skateparks or BMX riders in Vermont, so you don't see this sort of stuff on a regular basis. I got lucky to be exposed to it when I was 4-5ish. I was on a ride with my parents and we stumbled upon kids riding dirt jumps. I already had a huge interest in bikes, but I didn't know that kind of riding existed or was even possible.
Made me miss riding with my friend who had an auburn.i had my mountain bike kept trying to get me to drop in.lol.wish i had tried. 54 now cant afford the med bills.
The mountain bikers showing up mid conversation with the frustrated skater was poetic in a way.
I feel like in Vermont, with how much great mountain biking there is, keeping the MTB out of the skateparks is a fair ask.

Skaterhomie has some good points lol
The sound that MTB dads make when getting 6” of air… “hawhawhawhaw” 😂

I love the out of the comfort zone content. Conquering fears and anxiety is exhilarating to watch and I am proud of Haley!

Nice, lots of key points that should be understood and the love of my life... BMX. Perfect day and totally RAD vid!

I mostly stopped riding BMX when I originally moved to NH. I really enjoy riding skateparks, but there aren't many decent ones locally.
I knew you had a background in BMX but I've never seen you on one and I'm super excited to watch this!
No way bro! Warren is where I go skiing!
I would like to see more of Haley learning to ride the skate park, because I am at her level

Unpopular opinion bmx > mtb. Love to see it.
They are different. I like both, and sometimes i like one more than the other and vice versa but they are both fun
Love the shot @ 6:36!
That kid asking how you are doing that was so adorable. It only takes decades of practice, eh?
