Was the hotel rooms open? Are all the buildings for club?

We didn’t upgrade to club. I am reading that all the buildings are for club guests. The hotel rooms attached to the main building are open ?
Not all buildings are club.
The one bar tender Jesus has his own restaurant which we went went not really a menu though he had a pig on a spit with all kinds on side dishes kind of like a buffet. Its was also outside lol.
Are the mosquitoes bad here? My friend is diabetic and was eaten alive in Cayo Coco
I didn’t see any mosquitos but I did have unexplained bites around my ankles. I suspect sand mites as I stayed on the beach til after sunset each day.
