Best igl? 😂😂😂 . Noway you think zero is the best igl . Or maybe I'm misunderstanding and you not talking about zero. Hal not igl anymore. But hal is the best. He has the credentials to hack that up. I think he’s type A and very polite so struggles with being assertive. He’s not the most passive but really non confrontational

In good faith I can see Timmy being honest if he’s using the word correctly, he has no issues expressing his thoughts and feelings if he needs something done. The difference is his default in conveying it isn’t as aggressive or attention grabbing and he’s learning to do that.
Most Apex players you’d consider “assertive” sound like controlled tantrums to be honest
@@meteorjuice4088 No he's just passive. he constantly gets talked over in groups, and communicates in a way in which it seems like he's overthinking his thoughts to not offend anyone. From what I've seen he also seems to have quite a hard time with confrontation.
I know we all gave Hal a lot of shit for his igl style back in the day but he did a couple things that actually worked really well. I remember times in tournaments when he would just straight up ask the boys to generate ideas with him in a moment, whether it was a rotate or another play, and there were also times he’d just tell everyone to shut up so he could think! If Timmy can find a different way to do that I’m sure things will work a lot better
Exactly, a lot of casual players love to criticise Hal's IGL-ing but it actually worked really well, making him top 3 IGLs in the game since it started, arguably number 1 when it comes to producing results
Nobody criticizes Hal's IGLing. What is to be criticized is his attitude towards his mates. And we are not talking about "Shut up" - thats common talk.

You can be succesful and still relatively chill, look at Hakis.
Whenever it seems that some IGL who is not constantly yelling (and by the way still succesful currently) has some issues within his team, there is always a comment pointing out "they did Hal bad".
No, "they" did not. Hal is maybe the best IGL ever, but with one of the worst attitudes, same as Zero.
You can be direct and tell people to do this and shut up - but you dont need to insult.

Gen is my favorite apex player but I got to admit he definitely does say kinda talk more than he listens in an aspect

If you leave one team because of problems with the igl and then you join another team and you’re having problems again, you’re the problem.
I noticed this in a previous gameplay video. Gen was calling plays and making them as he was comming, it lead to gen wasting catalyst ult cause Timmy didn't wanna engage. Gen needs to wait until Timmy makes the call.
I agree, but Timmy isn't as assertive as he needs to be. Gen did lose them a game when he was solo'd but ran away and into another team. Idk what blgs game it was.
@@mimiftp you gotta understand, being assertive comes with experience and confidence in one’s own field.
Ex: throw an introvert into a room of extroverts, the introvert would struggle with being assertive until they “get comfortable/confident”.

@@mimiftpTimmy doesn’t need to be *that* assertive. If He’s the IGL, Gen needs to follow, not do his own thing and get the entire team penalized for it. Timmy says no, it’s a no. unless gen can convince him otherwise to make an informed decision based on the facts in front of gen, that he relays back to Timmy.
@@Mikoru- It comes with experience and confidence, but a huge part of it is also a personality trait. Timmy doesn't really have a assertive type of personality and maybe he can get used to the igl style and make better comms, but he's just a very passive individual. Hence the reason these huge personalities like Dezign or Gen have a hard time hearing him or paying attention. They should listen to him anyway because he's the igl, but when your igl squeaks in the mic or sounds unsure of himself it's gonna cause some problems.
It’s worth noting quite a few times these past scrims where dezignful got killed trying to save the other two during a rez or bad spot. Timmy calls frag heavy which can put back line in bad spots. I hope dezign haters recognize this.
Idk i've been watching a lot this past week, and dezign gets caught out a good bit. Much less "trying to save the other 2". Usually it's him claiming they need to fight for space that the others don't think they need or him getting beamed out of position doing god knows what (ig scouting or smth)
part of it is that i dont think he's comfortable on the characters he's playing currently
facts bro. I been watching and timmy be trying to push shit they don't need too.. I remember watching a game gen was telling timmy they have god spot and to chill. what does timmy do? crack one and starts screaming to ape and he got knocked. and another team pushes in and kills design and gen... like if he listens to gen who said they had god spot and there was another team there they win.
I'm hearing mixed info about Dezign, he either is comming too much or is not comming enough 😂 which one is it ? but I think the best solution forward is to let Dezign co-igl and let Gen give less input and focus on beaming people as he usually does but right now, like Timmy said they're both giving too much input
I think he’s talking about the situation at the bridge where design was counter calling a lot but design has gotten better and not being as angry toward shit
@@frappexd_2959 ohh yeah I know that situation but I’d say the phrase ‘counter calling’ doesn’t fit that situation, to me it sounded like he didn’t want them making a reckless play that’ll cost them the game because he knew they were in the winning position, because it did sound like Timmy could drop down to get his finish cost the game since he had already fell off the bridge a minute before, Dezign was mainly saying let them fight below and kill each other and they’ll come finish whoever is left
Not only that but also venting to his chat which most hate dezign and comparing him to enemy and others like what good does that do all of haters are just going to shit on dezign and say drop him

Before every game talk with the team. What do we want what's our goal this game? Once your in game igl calls plays. After the game ends and between matches take input and consideration from your teammates and implicate what you think is valuable in the next game. Rinse and repeat.

Timmy will likely never flourish as a solo igl, especially with this team. Design will never give up the reigns bc he's convinced that he knows whats best in the moment, you can't control somebody like that
They all have flaws atm Timmy had thrown away games by being way over aggressive and not listening to basic game play,
Gen has probably some of the best game awareness in the scene , I think giving him co igl with zones would be cracked and let Timmy call fights, let design chill and anchor

Imo i think dezign should be co-igl with the macro and rotations and timmy solo igl in micro decisions and calling all the fights, also dezign needs to play closer to timmy or genburten because he always dies first no matter what situation. All and all i think this squad has all the potential in world to do extremely well
Apex esport comms seem so unorganized and argumentative compared to other esports. Im very curious as to whether a team eventually will ever create a fluid and efficient comm system.

All teams are like that. You need your people to be confident. This is leadership problem with every team and y Hal was successful. Hal says shut the fuck up and do this now. While everyone is calling. A IGL is leader a leader means more then single file. You have to know what you need and what to ignore then make the call that brings success and what your team can handle

Timmy is the opposite of assertive. If he wants to be IGL he needs to learn how to be or at least let that side out.
Having 2 IGLs will cause all sorts of problems. You either co or respect the 2nd IGL. If you want your own way then designful needs dropped. He'll always have that igl blood which is fine. But he needs his own team.

Ironically when Hal was asked who is the best IGL in apex, he said zero is a better IGL than him. That's why he choose to join falcons and let zero IGL. You would think someone like Hal who has great game sense and leadership would know which player is best to follow orders from and he chose Zero to be that guy. It speak volumes
@@ChaoticMuchX well not many people have noticed but watch back all of darkzero lan tourneys and falcons which isn’t many they crumble when they don’t have the luck of zone pull Hal made it work! Hal’s record speaks for itself and tbh they should of had 3 lans back to back to back if that horizon q never was griefed there way!
