Looking good! I love all the details. The pin stripe was a dealer added feature. They never came with stripes from the factory. I'd take a little dab of white bathroom caulk to fill those tiny holes in the rear. It would be better than the holes. That car is in great shape!
wishbone suspension was the best thing about this car . . . nuts to change it up! I bought mine brand spanking new off the dealers floor and drove it into the ground . . . I LOVED this car! (you need an original chrome collar on that exhaust for a perfect match/look).
My 1st Honda was a 93 Vx hatch back in 2002. +20 years later I'm a diehard fan boy. I'm too am on my 8th Honda, a 98 CR-V 5-speed AWD b20. I also have a 89 CRX with a built b16 for weekends.
Love the blacked out 13" D-spoke steel wheels. Back in the early 2000's, I had a 91 DA Integra with 14' steelies. Black with chrome lugs, valve caps, polished axle caps and "vanity rings". Kept em clean and I got more props on them than any aftermarket wheels I've ever had. Honda got a lot of things right. Edit: 11:05, why is your coolant resolver filled with blue fluid? You.. you didn't put Windshield Washer fluid in your coolant overflow? Did you?
I would love for you to do a video while driving it and describe your how it drives, how it feels compared to when you got it. Maybe even dyno it just for fun!
very cool .. can you list the led bulbs you used the type and size in place of the stock ones for your tail lights and headlights turn signals etc. thx much ..
Cheyenne thanks! For now I’m going to keep the stock cat-back but down the line I will probably get an HKS cat-back exhaust. Really like the simple clean look of the HKS plus it’s not very loud. My stock catalytic converter just started rattling really loud at 1500 rpm, so here soon I’m going to have to get a test pipe though.
show us your led tail lights n link where u got them bro... i have a 91 im restoring im painting my white now too cuz i like urs like great man.... honda.
Very nice! Can you please give the details of the suspension swap? I would like to do the same to mine. Basically what parts did you use and where you got them. Thanks.
jeb419 The stock Integra handles significantly better. It could be that the Integra is on 320 treadwear tires and the Civic is on 820 Treadwear. Apples to oranges man. Maybe one day I will compare the two. The Integra to me is the perfect car. I’m surprised how well the steering is in the Civic though. When I get 200 treadwear track tires on the civic my opinions might change.... Integra GSR is by far the more fun car to drive, that could be the VTEC engine though.
Spencer's Garage yeah I have a stock LS integra and it sucks not having the vtec. Friend has an EF hatch with a b16 vtec motor that he may be able to trade me.
@@spencersgarage the mechanism is in the door. If any accident that the door is damaged they can fail..... and in really bad cases like the door comes off in accident that buckle is strapped across your lap and has in the past been the cause of fatalities...

Thanks man! Yeah I think the other models like the SI got the rear speaker pods. I'll most likely upgrade the stereo to a Kenwood unit plus new speakers and call it good. I'm not really into blasting music in my cars anyway...
What are they worth? Say someone has the exact same car but with 60k miles but has a small rust spot by the front wheel driver side & needs a windshield. What's so special about the DX because I'm looking for information on the 1 I'm about to buy today/tonight. How much should I be spending?
Good looking EF. Dig the white. EFs have a lot of space on the inside which I love. Check out my EF hatch on my channel. It’s Moore Hondas. Can’t wait to see you post more videos of your hatch and other projects.
GBH brought me here. Super clean EF! Can't wait to see more EF content Subscribed 🤙

Great video, a white 1991 Civic DX hatchback was my first Honda and made me loyal to the brand, picking up my 8th Honda, a 2020 CRV Sport, tomorrow!!!
That's great Scott! Can't go wrong with a Honda or Acura!

Hello, I list all the major suspension parts I bought for the car in the video. I purchased them from jhpusa.com/
Thanks for watching!
How do you like the EF hatch vs the Integra GSR? Any preference? Handling differences?

It took me awhile searching youtube for a stock honda civic. Extremely rare find. What MPG do you get?
Typically 38-42 MPG.
Such a beautiful car
Wow that is a clean EF!
Thanks man just washed it
@@spencersgarage I'm from Long Island, NY and you don't see them like this here at ALL! I am jelly my dude haha
I have a 89 Dx and a crx You should look into changing the door seatbelts out for the 88 89 model. The door mounted ones are junk and dangerous.

Found one for 120k miles, bone stock except for different wheels for 5k.. is that a fair deal?
Depends if it is in good condition or not. If it is, yeah I’d jump on that deal.
For a second I thought the OEM pin stripe came with the H towards the rear window...
where can i buy one?
Proud of u lol looks good
Thanks a lot man!
I like the wheels
What’s the difference between the dx and ef?
EF is the chassis code, DX is the trim model.
@@spencersgarage how many different chassis and trim models are there?
Do all dx have an ef chassis? I thought only si models were ef? I’m new to this.
Goals for my 88 DX
that honda battery adds atleast 30hp
