I have this exact same car, in Tahitian green (teal)! Same condition, too. Never gonna sell it. NEVER. All you guys out there saying stuff like, "looking for one!" I wish you luck.
Baddest Burrito I wish mine was a 91 (4wDisk) but my red 90 is in near condition with a b20b however hard to find a clean one anywhere imo ! Took me almost 4 years to find one I was happy with for the price !
What I would give to have this.. My first car was an '89 EF Hatch.. Put almost a million KM onto it, sadly lost it to rust and was too young and poor at the time to keep the rust away.
I have literally the exact same car in even better condition than this one in my garage. 1990 Honda Civic Si EF with 136k original miles on the stock D16A2. Mine has some dope SI wheels on it though from the 96-99 Si's though. I'm willing to sell but I'm not willing to be robbed. I know it's worth and that's why I've yet to sell it. Because for one.. I don't want to. But for two.. I'm not getting low balled out of it. If you really want one send me an email and let's talk @ mista808@gmail.com

My first Honda was this same exact car although in much worse condition. I would LOVE to have one in this condition. Made me fall in love with the brand and hatchbacks.
I literally just bought this exact model 2 days ago. The only difference is mine has got coilovers and momo rims. Always wanted one from when I was in high school. This thing is a blast drive, I love it.
just picked up a 91 STD hatch with the 4 speed. After a good ol mpfi conversion and an h2b she will be breaking necks. love this si, wish i could have scored that beauty
So many of these have succumbed to rust or ruined by customization. This is bound to be a collectors item that will certainly fetch a nice amount from true enthusiasts. Who cares if it does not have the JDM DOHC, a small car with manual steering is going to be an absolute blast. Hopefully this went to someone who loves, cares and appreciates it.
My first car was the 89 version of this car in red. I bought it used in 93. Man I loved that car and still miss it! It was 108hp but weighed so little and handled like a go kart.
OMG😍😍this is one piece of art!! I just hope this car doesn't go or went to some ricer or cambered kid . This is just one of a kind civic . You don't see this to much❤beautiful civic .
WOW! You have quite a gem here! I think "classic" sums it up nicely! Great to see one so untouched and I wish you the best of luck finding it a good home. (Y)
I have an 88 civic similar to this but no way as clean. I am slowly rebuilding it and doing some custom work on it. Great car. Plenty of pep and it goes well on the highway. I call it my "Dog Taxi" since I use it to take my dog Luther to the park every day. Keep the car....they are great. Just make sure you change the timing belt every 60K. Enjoy.

My dx look exactly like this one same year too 1990 difference is mine was actually converted to an si all ariginal harness no cuts also came with fog light clips and its just an awsome car to drive EF for the win
the later models of the Civic SI have the Honda B series the B16 DOHC engine which is a popular motor as some tuners have swapped them into the earlier Civics like yours. as i had a 1991 LX sedan it had the 1.5L with a dual point or basically a throttle body fuel injection system as it had alot of problems the failure of the fuel injectors and it cuts out on me making it hard to restart. the body rust issues the rocker panels mainly. water gets in the trunk and i think on all the civics the muffler and pipes rust out prematurarly if its the stock or aftermarket replacement system. when i had my 91 civic its like changing a muffler out every year if i still had it i would of gone with 304 stainless steel pipes and muffler on it as they will never ever rust out and will last the life of the car. as your car is one example of a clean unmolested example its good as a classic car which u can take to shows to display it.
Damn...that's hella clean! Hondas are the like whores of Japanese imports now these days lol this is still a "virgin" car. It's good to see a Honda that hasn't been raped with hideous mods. I wouldn't mind having one of these in my garage.
Nice, unmolested example! Those are impossible to find around here that haven't had a sewer pipe muffler added and the suspension ruined. I worked with a guy back then who had a gold one, brand new. He drove it like he hated it.

Just read all the customer's testimony of this automotive Gem in the comment gallery, then you'll know why this car needs to be put back into production.
Just because it says si on the back doesn't mean it is an si, si's usually have the vtec dohc logo on both sides of the car and they come with standard alloy wheels these are hubcaps, also the 1.6 litre si's have a Grove on one side of the bonnet and say vtec dohc on the engine which means double over head cam
+Mitchel Bartee Ahhh. No. It sold about a year ago. It was sold in 24 hours. Guy flew in to PDX with a one way ticket and drove it home. Be interested in knowing where it is now. Could have sold this car 100x over.

I genuinely hope this doesn't go to some retarded ricer. What a precious surviving car.

The muffler is not stock. They come with dual exhaust tips. At least mine did I had a 1989 loved the sound. Other than that it’s still an Si. 👍🏼

what do u care u got your money.should have not sold it and wait till later to get even more money for it.

$4,000 and it's done 163,000 Miles?? Dam that's expensive! I thought that cars were cheap in USA?
