The defias brotherhood and bloodsail buccaneers actually also worked together, its canon in game from the defias dockmaster questline as well as the STV quest where you gather the bloodsail papers. Also the construction/repair of the navy ship in deadmines. The defias tunnels go all the way from booty bay to deadmines.
I’ve wanted the Combat spec to get a rework for so long and SoD has almost scratched that itch. Combat Rogue tanking should basically be Brewmaster Monks: lightly armored class with a focus on mitigating damage through just avoiding it with dodges and parrys. Add some elixir abilities that build on the poison motif but with a focus on curing and removing status effects instead of inflicting them. Add a new class of shields (bucklers) for them that focus on increasing parry chance for the rogue (this also puts more focus on Riposte as a main ability) and add Gladiator stance from Warriors in some form that gives the rogues some offensive buckler abilities
@@iZehtaIronically, project ascension dose have 1 hander weapon users "Defias gunner and Swashbuckler" Archtype can pick from level 1 on their A52 server can freely custom a Rogue that uses shields as well like SoD, they're actually fun , but i rather see Blizzard 1 day make a WoW 2 with the original classes Human racial classes can get "Defias , Scarlet Monastery Monk and Crusader" set em on a redemption story arc
Hey! This story or i am not sure you can call it a story before it has its true end! Is amazingly well put together here! There is so much untold information about the bloodsails to define how involved they are in the story of warcraft. I dont have any specific character this time to put my finger on, but there are as this vedeo clearly stated some realy prominent characters that has conections to the bloodsails! Also calling the defias a "outlaw" group in this day of age would be realy bad. They did rebuild Stormwind and as payment... well they where not paid at all! (Id be pretty mad aswell) would most likely create a public outcry of some sort(unions and so on^^).. All in all realy intriguing video and i cant wait for more! Best wishes from Sweden!
The defias are outlaws by definition they may have been stonemasons who had the work they done not paid for but they started the riot leading to varians wifes death and avoided the law afterwards

I have a pirate. She is a Void Elf Outlaw Rogue stationed in Boralus. She even wears the Pirate garb transmog from the Trading Post.

Blizzard should add a Pirate class for "Humans and Kul Tarian" or atleast put a 4th talent tree in Rogue where they can be a legit Swashbuckler .
